  • What additional work has been done on your 2003 Z4s during the inspections?

Hey, it’s time for me. As soon as my coupé is gone, there’s a used Z4. I already have a few in the narrow selection. All with EZ between 4/03 and 7/03. Now I want to ask you again what was done during the inspections or other workshop stays on your zettis additionally. I have something to remember, for example, with the bonnet. But there was certainly more. Since many zettis have still well under 20tkm, the probability is z It would be nice to do that before the guarantee expires, before I have to stop myself afterwards with requests for approval or other indulgences. Then I have another question about the red leather. If I remember correctly, a few people are driving around with it. Is it as durable as the black one? It is clear to me that it requires more care. I just want to make sure that the color does not peel off or something like that. So… thank you very much already in advance. Greetings Markus

  • ///M-roadster vs. Z4 3.0

Hello zettis, am a little rowing… ///M-roadster or Z4 3.0 if you compare both cars according to the data sheet, then the 90 more-hp of the ///M-roadster seem almost completely to go down: from 0-100km/h ///M: 5.4s Z4 3.0: 5.9s 80-120km/h ///M: 5.3s Z4 3.0: 5.8s top-speed at both 250km/h. has someone already tried both “against each other” and can describe the subjective impression? is the ///M-roadster worth the impact, at least in the maintenance? can you really be sure? differences “experienced”? or is the more modern, more spacious car preferable, since the driving performance seems almost identical? thanks for any assistance. mfg

  • “Baileys” and brown flakes on the oil cover :-[

Oh, my God, now my poor Zetti must have caught it: I have filled oil at the tank before and discovered that there is brownish white foam on the oil cover and in between there are brown flakes that look a little like candied sugar. The foam sounds to me as if the cylinder head seal is through, what do you think? Do you have any ideas what else could make me sleep a little better tonight? What kind of brown flakes could that be? I wonder what my friend will say tomorrow… your Michi

  • Z3 M …for my sister ?!

Hello everyone! I’m serious about the question: My sister wants to buy a Z3 Roadster. Agreed. But she absolutely wants to buy the M-version. I have nothing to do with it. But I’m afraid of her because she often drives very carelessly or dreamy. And I really don’t want her to clap with such a car against the next tree. I mean, she’s actually driving very well, only if I don’t entertain her in the car, or (so I think) we nn she drives alone, then she no longer notices what is happening around her! Well. She is old enough (27) to make her own decisions, and such a black convertible would be quite good for a young, pretty blonde but please not the M! How can I influence her, or convince her that you will already have a 1,9 or 2,2l ?!??? Currently she drives a silver 320Ci (E46). Can anyone help me with this (non-technical) problem ??? Thank you, yambaaa

  • 100 octan – are you doing this nonsense?

How is your opinion on the 100 octan fuels, does or does someone fill it up? I fell over it: 1. 2. By the way, I am a convinced 98 octan customer for a long time and think 100 octan for a nice advertising gig, which I do not participate.

  • Who is interested in Bastuck??

Hi guys & girls, As many people already know, I have a Bastuck stainless steel complete system under my Z4 ! I mounted the system with a edge myself. And was completely satisfied with the quality, fit accuracy and the price. Of course also the sound is right, I heard an Eisenmann before was also not bad but at the top not quite as flaming as Bastuck. In addition, the whole exhaust manufacturers must not deviate from the standards any more. At the latest now the price comes into discussion if you think that already an Eisenmann ESD costs 760 Euro and you order a Bastuck complete system at Rieger-Tuning and at Bastuck direckt for approx. 650 Euro can not be considered for long. If first wanted to order the system at a dealer and have it mounted he wanted to have 900 Euro then from me after negotiating. If you do not want to be cut over by the dealer and the system can not be mounted by itself or.. Then I would like to The sound is in the lower speed range much duller up above and when taking away the gas it easily rubs like a race car! Conclusion: I’m satisfied, quality is also right and is still absolutely suitable for everyday use ! Came to the idea because some asked me by PN like the Bastuck is like that and want to hear it too. And even like to mount on my Z4 as long as I don’t feel overridden. Greeting Mark o!

Question: On all the 30mm deeper with M chassis are ? I have Breyton 19″ rims front 9-19″ and rear 9.5-19″ on it. Have mounted the 30mm springs of Eibach. -And now to my problem- (In the front wheel boxes a black inner clasp is attached with push buttons on the edge. I have damaged the panel in the left and right wheel box with my refs by streaking through the border area, so partly ripped up) ! — Did you have similar experiences– ???? I doesn’t understand that some of them are even 50mm deeper in the front and what about them? Greetings Marko!

  • Roof to the outside parking?

So I haven’t yet dared to park in the open for a while, and I’m going to close the roof for a while. I’m only going to leave it at the bakery or post office for a short stop. My care is not about the weather, but about the theft or possible randale. What experiences have you made? And what about the alarm system? If I park openly, a pedestrian hand, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car, a car. n big leaf or a flying bird and the “disco” goes off, isn’t it? is definitely annoying for a long time. But maybe I just don’t have my zetti long enough and get a little bit more brooded with the time.
