  • Summer tires on M Roadster/Coupé

Hi, I would be interested to know which summer tyres you prefer on the MZ. Since my new Uniroyal were mounted when I bought it, of course I left them on it first. But since they become very spongy at high speeds, my next set will certainly not be Uniroyal. On my 328i I had Michelin, with whom I was very satisfied, on the 323ti Goodyear Eagle F1, which I liked even better. However, since the M is completely different from my own previous cars, it may also be that this is similar with the tires. Therefore, I would be very grateful for some tips and reviews.

  • Incession Z3 M 321PS

hello municipality I stepped on this little sweet ///M occasion at a BMW representative 2 days ago “see below”.(Switzerland) Logically, the seller can only tell me good on some of my questions. But it came to my attention that the engine is not the yellow of egg ?? or … power without end, but many capital engine problems. The ///M comes as a second car, as fun car just (holiday, weekend) But now I want to have some input, especially with regard to the engine. I don’t care if the CD system or a turn signal strikes! Small stuff! (I also get a sniff every now and then, the main thing is that the pump doesn’t flute) :-)))) Vehicle type Occasion : Traffic 5 / 1997 Kilometer : 82’000 km Gear type : Hand-circuit Internal colour blue Engine capacity in ccm 3201 cm3 Cylinder 6 Power in PS 321 !! • What additional work has been done on your 2003 Z4s during the inspections?

Hey, it’s time for me. As soon as my coupé is gone, there’s a used Z4. I already have a few in the narrow selection. All with EZ between 4/03 and 7/03. Now I want to ask you again what was done during the inspections or other workshop stays on your zettis additionally. I have something to remember, for example, with the bonnet. But there was certainly more. Since many zettis have still well under 20tkm, the probability is z It would be nice to do that before the guarantee expires, before I have to stop myself afterwards with requests for approval or other indulgences. Then I have another question about the red leather. If I remember correctly, a few people are driving around with it. Is it as durable as the black one? It is clear to me that it requires more care. I just want to make sure that the color does not peel off or something like that. So… thank you very much already in advance. Greetings Markus

  • ///M-roadster vs. Z4 3.0

Hello zettis, am a little rowing… ///M-roadster or Z4 3.0 if you compare both cars according to the data sheet, then the 90 more-hp of the ///M-roadster seem almost completely to go down: from 0-100km/h ///M: 5.4s Z4 3.0: 5.9s 80-120km/h ///M: 5.3s Z4 3.0: 5.8s top-speed at both 250km/h. has someone already tried both “against each other” and can describe the subjective impression? is the ///M-roadster worth the impact, at least in the maintenance? can you really be sure? differences “experienced”? or is the more modern, more spacious car preferable, since the driving performance seems almost identical? thanks for any assistance. mfg

  • “Baileys” and brown flakes on the oil cover :-[

Oh, my God, now my poor Zetti must have caught it: I have filled oil at the tank before and discovered that there is brownish white foam on the oil cover and in between there are brown flakes that look a little like candied sugar. The foam sounds to me as if the cylinder head seal is through, what do you think? Do you have any ideas what else could make me sleep a little better tonight? What kind of brown flakes could that be? I wonder what my friend will say tomorrow… your Michi

  • Z3 M …for my sister ?!

Hello everyone! I’m serious about the question: My sister wants to buy a Z3 Roadster. Agreed. But she absolutely wants to buy the M-version. I have nothing to do with it. But I’m afraid of her because she often drives very carelessly or dreamy. And I really don’t want her to clap with such a car against the next tree. I mean, she’s actually driving very well, only if I don’t entertain her in the car, or (so I think) we nn she drives alone, then she no longer notices what is happening around her! Well. She is old enough (27) to make her own decisions, and such a black convertible would be quite good for a young, pretty blonde but please not the M! How can I influence her, or convince her that you will already have a 1,9 or 2,2l ?!??? Currently she drives a silver 320Ci (E46). Can anyone help me with this (non-technical) problem ??? Thank you, yambaaa
