Successor of the Z4 project E89 Sounds very interesting! “Driving dynamic tidbits can be presented – the compartments range from the winding stabilization to the electrohydraulic brake? Hello! 4 liters of disel with 449 hp?! Madness! “The wider track creates space for the V8 which is to be used in the top model. The engine range should look like this: • 2.0-l-DI four-cylinder, 185 hp • 2.5-l-DI six-cylinder, 231 hp • 3.0-l-DI turbo six-cylinder, 321 hp • 4.0-l-DI-V8-M engine, 449 hp. Why the 6 cylinders only with 231 hp? Is this the “old 3.0i machine?!”?

manual or SMG in 3liter Z4
hello zettis, I have to get annoyed again. until middle january I have to know finally whether I should get a hand-operated or SMG knitted in. (every other thing is clarified………….. ) what are the opinions about this? tend to be hand-operated at the moment, because I don’t really think about automatics, at least as far as sports cars are concerned. I know that SMG is not really automatic, but nevertheless. What speaks for SMG and what against? especially with regard to the r travel services. thank you & mfg ps @verena: at the first aprilWE I’m probably not in D

Something different: Zetti and family growth
For the current occasion a question in the round: Who of you shares his zetti with offspring? Short story about it: I was with the recently and asked for child seats, which at the same time fit in our Z4 AND in our 5er (Touring of course ) which we get soon. Answer: Isofix child seat from BMW is very expensive (about 500 €) and is only allowed for BMW. Switching into other car is then impossible. So for me Isofix would not necessarily be in Fra Ge. Then a problem with the Z4: with a child seat on the passenger seat the passenger airbags must of course be deactivated. And now the hammer: this is not even possible with Bj. before the middle of 2004. No, the airbags have to be “physically” deactivated, the belt shoulder has to be removed – the conversion would take about 3 hours, the rear-fitting also. If you take a “normal passenger” with you, of course, this can not even be retrofitted so easily, which then drives without airbag We will definitely not separate from Zetti, another car with space is also there. What did BMW think about it? Is the Zetti really an ego car? Even our Alfa 147 year 2002 has a simple passenger airbag deactivation with the ignition key. I find that pretty…. What do you think about it? Do you have a better solution? Greetings Prian

1 weekend Z4 2.0i Facelift
Hi, I got the new Z4 for this WE. I knew Prefacelift so far: 2.2i 2.5i Facelift: 2.5si and now the 2.0i. Color black metallic, open-air package, alarm system. I thought at first, well, the 150 hp won’t be so the hit and certainly not so great by the sound. I was taught a better one. I think the engine is really great. From sound one thinks of more power. The acceleration is actually enough. But in the curves it is really fli nk and good to control. Unfortunately, the rental car only has the standard steering wheel. What bothers me is this cheap-looking clapping noise when opening the bonnet. Is that normal? So for all those who think of the 2.0i is not sufficient, wrong, it is! Nevertheless, I am looking forward to my 3 liters greeting to

bmw drivers
moin, without wanting to attack everyone here, but why do individual z4 drivers always drive as if they don’t have the road and speed limits…. only yesterday I had my 3rd encounter in this week with so n depp who thought he had to drive so close that you couldn’t see his headlights anymore… and wanted to pass at 80 kmh (was prescribed) and I couldn’t even turn right because a lot of traffic……he already came with lichthupe to un d really meant that I could dissolve into air…..this of course does not contribute to the image of the z4 drivers, which in general seems to be bad anyway…..you should take back a little bit, if you just feel addressed, in order not to reap too much antisympathy…you do not have the greatest and fastest car, and you are not the most beautiful even if you are still wildly gesticulating with open distorted mouth rushing past, as far as your m otor then allows… so, a nice Sunday still, I just had to get rid of it

Installation (refitting) of the cruise control!! I dared!!!
Hello together!!! I dared it and can only recommend it to anyone. the installation is totally easy. you only have to remove the cover under the steering wheel (is a screw to release), the minus pole of the battery clamp, remove the high-bound plug, connect the lever (which you have previously ordered price approx. 190 öre brutto incl. new steering wheel cover) into the intended hold. fasten the new cover again with screw and finish. you can find pictures and installation instructions at:http://www.bertb.de/z4/tempomat_Z4/http://www.bertb.de/…/tempomat_Installation InstructionsZ4.pdf Greetings Norbert

which alternative you had in the
Closer selection before you have decided for the Z4 or which car are currently in your narrower selection. I want to replace my 328i cabrio in about 2 years and play with the idea to buy a roadster. without being tested exclusively on the outer and the driving services on paper come 2 in the narrower selection. my criteria: boxster 987 with 240hp + look – price – simmering problem ?? Z4 3.0si with 265hp + price + 6 zylinermotors from BMW – the z4 catches ers t to please me which of you is or was in a similar situation and what have been the decision criteria ?

Z 4-Coupe rip-off at special executions!
Hello, I have studied the peislist of the Z 4 Coupe and I have to find out that BMW as well as the newly introduced 3 Series offers only individual options. “Advantage package” and “Sport package” are available only for the Roadster – not for the Coupe. Since in both packages mandatory SA’s are included, such as onboardcomuters, multifunction for steering wheel or M steering wheel and sports suspension it becomes really expensive in the single bestling. The price advantage of the Coupe 3.0 from 1.500.-€ thus dwindles to 370,-€. h added the “roof sky in anthracite” for 180,-€, which must be included in a sports coupe for almost 40000,-€, there is still a whole 190,- price advantage to the roadster. BMW knows that the Coupe first-time buyers don’t care. If the accumulated demand ebbs, there are also attractive packages for the coupe very quickly. Gruss Kühli

Z4 also in winter
Hello, think about the purchase of a young used Z4. Next weekend I get the 2.5 to the rehearsal. Ride at the moment a 320d, with which I got great through the last winter. Must drive in every day 50 KM to Munich, i.e. even if the snow has fallen in mass again. Who has experience with the Z4 in extreme road conditions? Problemless like the 320d or more difficulties due to the lower weight, etc? Is there also a St4 for the Z4 andheizung (carport instead of garage)? Thank you for your help

Z4 3.0SI vs. MZ4
Hello, I would like to encourage a small discussion round around the two Top Z4 models. What does that mean? Is a 3.0Si option for the base price of the Mz4 the better choice? What about the driving dynamic differences really? What do you say about the brakes (unfortunately they are explained very sparsely in the documents). What do you think about the Tema Runflat in the 3.0, no in the MZ4. Are there only the free masses or are there other reasons against RunFlat in the Mz4? t now in the Mz4 another hydraulic steering better than the electromechanical? And many other questions. I would be pleased about a lively participation Z4 Greetings Stefan
