All right, people, the moment of truth (for MY truth) has hit. Don’t worry, I don’t want to blame you or blame you for anything (whose?). It’s all about this: If a system with a little more watts is running with a switched off motor (i.e. only on battery), then the battery is empty quite quickly. A buddy of mine claims that with a PowerCap you can significantly extend the time that a system can run on battery (to several days, with enough Farad). So the caps work like a battery with enormous capacity. But here in the forum I read that a cap can only catch load peaks for a few milliseconds and then is empty like a blown-out Easter egg… So nothing of a long time that the plant can run on battery…. Could you help me separate nonsense and truth from each other? Would be really important to me! Thank you!!! merendo

Hello I’m a newcomer in the Car Hifi area and hope you can help me. I want to get Woofer and want to know if you have experience with the Pyle PLM 1299. The thing has 1200 watts and looks great. But I would like to get really pressure in my car and want to know how the Woofer is and if I should rather leave it. And another thing. A buddy has a Jackson power amp with 2 times 700 wat max and 2 times 30 A fuses for his subwoofer and is fully satisfied but I’ve heard a lot of bad things about Jackson. Is Jackson rather discouraged or is it okay? MfG Deus

I’m looking for a special gimmick for my installation. So far. Installation of the two power stages together with condensation in the spare wheel chuck. My equalizer is sitting in the left side part, the A-pillars are spanned and the center console is made of aluminum, but something special is missing for me… I wanted to let the remote control from a Red Bull can drive up from the center console, but that’s good for me.
