Hello together, this morning my car didn’t jump any more, although I had started it 3 minutes before (then put it off for a short time), but then suddenly only a very quiet organ and then nothing more… Can this come from normal-sound music listening that the original battery (Opel 55Ah, Bj. 99) therefore gives up the mind? Connected is only a small 4-channel, which brings 4*60rms and is secured with 2*20A…!?! After the bridge I am then half an hour Motorway driven, but the start attempt after that worked only with ach and noise; sounded very weak. Thanks and greeting, Rene.

Is a monoblock / subamp worth it ?
Hi, I think I’ve asked a similar question recently… but not exactly the one (it doesn’t matter…) I have a power amplifier (for sub and front system) with 2 x 50 watts for front and 1 x bent 150 watts for the sub. Now I have an offer for a Kenwood monoblock, which fits well to the stage, by the way, with 250 watts of power (RMS). Question: should I take the ? Would then take the other amp as a system amp and another (chosen by you, for that for the passenger good and top-secured s) The rear system. Will the 100 watts more be noticeable with a 30 Axton Sub with 120 Watt RMS? Thank you, ms

Need purchase advice MP3-enabled “system”
Hi Car Audio Friends I need an MP3-enabled “system” for my car so slowly but surely. (MB C-Class BJ 11/97) With system I mean either a CD/tape/nothing radio + MP3 changer or an MP3 radio with normal cd changer or no changer at all. I have a Bose sound system in it and am absolutely satisfied with it, maybe some more powerful subwoofer comes in, but then I register again Now I don’t know anything about car radios, car audio, Wech sler etc and hope that you can help me there further. Have already looked around, what there is all there… What I liked best was the SONY CDX MP70. I have heard many times, however, that Sony should be bad and some had problems, if they had a Bose system in an MB C class + Sony Radio! Can someone confirm this?! As far as I remember there were problems with the volume, since this at the output (?) is not adjustable ?! () There are also other great Models, such as Alpine or Kenwood… however, they are actually too colorful for my car interior – but here we look over it casually, because I want to know what such a radio should/should have/can do. I have read through the website of the manufacturers and came to the following conclusion: Kenwood has a better radio, Alpine is expensive () and Sony has a good sound reproduction… I would like to have your opinions about it now, true I put a lot of value on good radio reception, a “shuffle” (random playback) mod that is versatile (with some radios you can only have an MP3 folder with it) and of course good sound reproduction. In short: it has to be a very good radio. What can you tell me about MP3 changers, what does it look like with folder playback, CD text etc.

Cheap beginner 2-component system ?!
hallöchen, (am new here), wanted to build me a 2-component system in front of my golf iv. but here in the forum there are probably only sound enthusiasts… (here is all too often the talk of canton, focal, …) I just wanted a komp system which shouldn’t be too expensive – do it because the systems of the “normal” car audio manufacturers (sony, pioneer, jvc, kenwood, panasonic, …) are not also or are not worth the recommendation (always no no-name out of the construction market) you have to know en, I don’t necessarily have the big idea of (I’m going to get it right away 🙂 because I don’t want to go for manufacturer sympathy when choosing, do I need your decision help: what should I look for? the frequency values actually move between 40hz-25khz (blue point) and 30hz-70khz(kenwood). what’s the lowest frequency should it be (I don’t have a subwoofer – should I buy “30hz” or make the difference to 40hz not audible? and up I actually wanted to hear mp3’s (radio is still coming), but then the heights are cut anyway (codes with r3mix.net settings – prima quali; ca. 170kbit vbr) which would be quite suitable for the heights? some systems have an external frequency soft (kenwood, jvc) others an integrated in the cable (pioneer) others an intregated high pass filter(sony; what is the difference to the integrated frequency soft?) others nothing at all… best is however an external one are integrated in the cable solutions also ok? many many questions – hopefully also many answers … thank you already kermit

Pyle QA 4400 MK III vs. Wanted 4/320
The title says yes: I decided to buy a 4 channel with approx. 75W RMS per channel. I come to the pyle for 169€ in the shop. Advantage: proximity, guarantee, exchange in case of defect… For the carpower I would have to cover 164€ + 11,11€ shipping. Disadvantage: Internet shop, no experience with seller, exchange+garante complicated. Is the carpower now so much better than the pyle that it is worth taking this risk? Please answer quickly, the auction for the carpower takes only n I must have made up my mind by then.

93er Civic, 700€ & 0 Ignore which comp. for 3way-sys
Hi @ all! Since I also have some money I want some of it (700€) into the into a fine 3 way MP3 system (Front + Sub). Since I am a total Newbie in terms of Car-Hifi I ask you for your wise advice 😉 Music direction: Everything except classical up to now only the radio is fixed! It should become a JCV 909R. This MP3 radio should be known here… For this already 350€ go on, there remain still 350€. These 350 Euro should still be enough for the following: – Two 16cm Boxes -> max. 100€ – Amplifiers -> max. 150€ – Subwoofers (boxes) -> max. 100€ I know the budget is pretty small here (in comparison to the plants that cost several thousand euros) but my demands are not too high! But of course I don’t want any scrap 😉 I looked around and found the following parts that play in my price range: Boxes: Pioneer TS-G1716 (49,-) Magnat Traveller 3200 (49,-) Amplifier: Mac Attack 4050 (128,-) Magnat Classic 360 (9) 9,-) Sony XM-444 (130,-) Subwoofer: Magnat BULL POWER REFLEX 300 (90,-) So you can tell me in which parts I should invest or call alternative. I’ve heard of the Magnat amplifier that it breaks fucking fast/often. So I’m so excited about it. How about the one from Mac Audio / Sony? Just please not something like “spar for something reasonable”, because I simply don’t want to spend more than 700€! Already many thanks in advance! CU DK2000

To help !!!
Hi guys !! I have a real problem that gets more illogical from day to day. I bought a Golf III a few weeks ago and then started to install boxes, subwoofers and power stage ( Signat Roc1). Then the following problem arose: Every time I took my foot off the gas the power stage went off !!!! When I then gave gas again it went on again. However, the speed is completely irrelevant, if I gave gas e.g. in idle mode it went despite m not on !!! Since it was time for a new battery anyway, I bought one and had to find out after the installation that the power stage is now no longer concerned !!! So I removed the power stage again and first checked the conductivity of the cables ( current and mass ), but they were full. Then I opened the power stage and looked for defective soldering points or the like … that also resulted nothing !!! Then I installed the power stage again and re-installed the mass cable again and see … I have no problems, everything is running perfectly !!! Now my car was one day in the workshop for the timing belt change and afterwards …. everything again as before, the final stage only goes on if I give gas with inserted gear !?!?! He would be really great if someone could tell me what is going on or where the error is. I am really at the end with my Latin !!!!!! Thank you so much for your answers…

Bridge vs. Helix vs. Audio System
Hi guys, I’ve been looking for a few steps lately and I’ve been informed. Especially the bridge amplifiers are supposed to be a very good team in connection with the Focals. I also read various test reports in magazines and I noticed that the bridges were rated worse every time. The bridges were rated in the auto&hifi only middle class (75.4x), while audio system or helix have already worked in the upper class. Especially for sound points has Only the MasterStrokes received a very good note. Only how does this phenomenon come about? Are these magazines simply not serious enough and Steg doesn’t pay well enough? *conspiracy mode* Or is there really so much audible sound difference? Or are there entirely other recommendations for the Focals? Should this be between 250-350€!
