  • E36 Sound ASSISTANCE, despite exchange

Hello guys, I really have a huge problem. I have an E36 Limo. The car radio JVC KD-SH 55R is used. The bmw has a tweeter in the front door door and a “bass loudspeaker” in the footroom. Now I bought the Axton CAX138 speaker system for the footroom. These are 2 ways speakers. But also it doesn’t sound great. Someone said to me that there was a crossover in it. Nice and good, but more than the tweeter area can these auc h not cover, although the seller promised me I already had a really good sound with these loudspeakers. What can you tell me about it? Do I need a power amplifier, or do the 13cm loudspeakers due to design not bring any more? Thank you in advance Martin

  • Rockford at 99.- in golf 2 ass horny!!! Which would be better from RF?

Tach, yesterday at the Mäci (Mc Donald ́s) were a few colleagues and I so chill, and since I had no facility in the golf inside, one had an idea to quickly build one in. I was immediately there. So we cruisten to him, he got out immediately a cheap Renegade amplifier 720 Watt max., and his self-made bass box, with two Rockford Woofern inside, which was 99.- for 2 pieces. At wooferstore.de he bought it. Well, at the back she was quickly put in, the amplifier wa r also fast connected, but my fucking radio didn’t want to come out, so we were for the first time getting the radio out. Then we had to move a cable from the engine compartment to the rear. At first we had a wrong hole, because it was already half a night and after a wee time we had the cable in the car inside. Amplifier was fully turned up, stop the buttons were all set to max., and then the thing rocked already. Oh yes, that housing is a She’s got two bass reflex openings inside. So deep the thing can be really horny, and Techno is also quite cool. Only when I turn up too much, the box sounds a bit funny, although it has been built very stable. The only thing I noticed is that you don’t hear the bass from the outside at all at all, only very quiet. What can it be on? I haven’t stopped anything at all. Oh yes. Käbel have wi He used so thin, so cheap things. Should be provisional. Now to my question. At www.wooferstore.de there is a lot of Rockford Woofer. Which should I take when I hear mainly techno, hip-hop and so on? If the one Woofer costs 50 Euro, two then 99 Euro, then it is still good. But if I get one by 250 Euro, there will be something to hear or? He should trump the two by 99 Euro in all things, in sound, low bass, and level he should be good. Just much better than the two by 99 euros. Would be grateful for tips and so. Oh yes, then a Wanted final stage is enough?

  • Impulse CW-1212 in matching housing

Hello, So my first post *g* has already read some Treads about it but örgendwie could not really help me :/ So I have here an impulse CW1212 Woofer and wanted to create for the one at home, listen mostly Techno sometimes also black. Data about the Woofer: diameter 300mm, 1200Watt (max) RMS approx.600W, 4 Ohm Free Air Resonance 20Hz Qm 4.35 / Qe 0.213 / Qt 0.204 …… X-Max 23mm /VAS 4.87 / 90 DB / Equtv. Volume 138 liters. I hope times this is enough data *g* I thought e as a design to a bandpass or also a bass reflex. Unfortunately in my boot of my polo there is no longer enough space but can be used without probs completely because only 1-2 PC ́s still have to fit in for convenient Lan-Parties Áchso as final stage I have an Opus 2 running which 2x 175W @ 4 Ohm or 2x 350W @ 2 Ohm or snapped at 4 Ohm 1x 625W (All RMS values) well now you are asked I hope you have something for me.

  • Why disconnect LS?

Hello. In a topic in another forum I have read that you have to use a high-low adapter in factory radios where you want to operate a power amplifier with subwoofer if the power amplifier has such a function. I have also understood that so far. Furthermore it is told that you have to take the signal for the high-low converter from the speakers. I also understood that. But why do the speakers have to be disconnected from the signal for the high-low converter? the converter is taken? In the topic it is also mentioned that you better take the rear speakers for the converter, but why just clamp off completely? Turn off is also possible?! why should this be so bad. I can understand that many want to keep the rear speakers in operation because it actually disturbs passengers when they hear only the bass trumpet at the back but not the medium and high frequencies. how much should the sound image be negatively influenced when the rear boxes It is also written that at the Sony CD Radio (Ford Mondeo MK3 Facelift) at the rear of the FAKRA? Plugs are two pin assignments for the Sub+ and Sub-. can I go from this pin assignment into the high-low converter around the power stage and finally the subwoofer operate? and if so, can the rear speakers remain clamped on and continue to use? Does the 6000 CD Radio (Ford Mondeo MK3) not also have such a plug with the same P IN Occupancy? after all, these have been installed in the same models and should therefore all have the same cable harness and connector or? As you can see, ask about questions, I hope someone can answer me if my reading was not too tiring to read and I was understood. Greeting Florian

  • Crossover… who can help???

Hello! I’ve already got a lot of things together for my system and now I would like to know what the difference between active and passive crossovers are, as I understand it, come passive switches after the amplifiers or directly in front of the box and active directly at the Cinch, is that right? Have now a Sony power amplifier (model XM-754HX – is ne 4channel) and would like to connect 2 subwoofers (20ers with each 100Watt RMS frequency response of 25-4000Hz), but want to connect the subwoofers b a run about 100-250Hz, first to free the subwoofers from the extreme low basses and secondly not to let the frequencies over 4000Hz penetrate, so that the subs play optimally… But now I only have the choice between high pass and low pass, there is an elegant solution (maybe not very expensive), how I could do that? What do you think is better? active or passive? Wanted to connect a subwoofer to each channel, am thank you for every tip ar!!! Mfg! DannyNRW

  • Helix blue 62 or Canton Pullman2.16

Hi you out there! Have a question: What do you think is better? The Helix blue 62 or the Canton Pullman 2.16RS application as a front system in the polo. Or better a 20 or 26 he Pullman 3way system into the door? (or RS6 or what that means.) And what do you think of it In the self-built doorboard several of the above mentioned 2way speaker systems parallel to one? Where should the tweeters sit? Next of the bass: A 38cm Phonocar 2/765 Item number 02/765 Resonant Frequency H Z 28,5 Mech . Quality factor QMS 7,52 Electr. A plate is already fitted so 12mm. Is that enough? Do you have to contain something, seal it to the edge, bass reflex or closed? How do I calculate the whole??? You see: my knowledge is not yet perfect 😉 but I am capable of development!!! 🙂 Marco!

  • Is the box correctly calculated?Urgent!!!!

Hello I’ve got an emphaser El10S3 Woofer. and I’m just about to calculate a bass reflex box… You should have 35l (does the volume??) and a bass reflex tube with 8cm diameter and a length of 30.6cm. The TSP of the chassis are:FS:35,5Hz ; Vas:31,6l ; Mms: 106,8g ; Qts: 0,37 ; Qes: 0,4 ; Qms:5,0 ; R(DC) 3,9Ohm ; Sd 346 cm2 ; Xmax 8,3. Can you calculate this quickly and see if this is working properly!!!! You can also use a bass reflex channel! the shape (round or corner) doesn’t matter, does it? as long as the cross-section remains the same? What do I have to keep in mind when building the box? Thank you! cya AX rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😉

  • Coax systems all shit!!!!!!! Who knows alternatives?

So, I’ve already written in my other posts about installing home hi-fi speakers in my car, because what I’ve had in my car so far was just shit, really! Up to now always 3-way coax systems on the rear shelf, they didn’t make it, even the infinitys with supposed 100 watt RMS were just as good as the Pioneers with 50 watt RMS, so something is not right 🙂 and the basses can probably be noded at all, well suc I’m a reasonable substitute, it can’t be that you put hundreds of euros for such garbage, right? Who can recommend something reasonable for my rear shelf? Bass best up from diameter 20cm 🙂 Who has the coax system from Pioneer, model TS-E2095 and can tell me how they sound? Doesn’t want to make bad experiences again… What about these compo systems? Are they better, also from bass? Listen to everything from pop to rock to techno and dan ce… Will finally have reasonable basses *g* without a sub, I guess that’s still coming. I’m grateful for every tip! P.S.: How about the home hi-fi speakers, usually you would have to pack them in the car, right? Mine of course only the chassis. Now don’t come to me with your 8 ohms, I switch them in parallel 🙂 Mfg! DannyNRW
