Servus people, like that, haven’t been on the road for a long time, but just play with the idea to exchange the speakers in my Golf 3 Bj.95 (5-door). I don’t want to change the mega-fat system, but just a better sound, maybe later another radio. Now I’ve already read something about doors, etc., but I don’t want to do that at all, or is it absolutely necessary if I install other boxes? What can you recommend to me as reasonable boxes, Let’s say 100€ +/-. Should I exchange all or just those in the doors? As I said, the system just wants to poke up a bit… Thanks for your help

Hello, I would have a question of understanding quickly: And I wonder, how much power passively separate HTs actually get off. I mean this, theoretically, if an FS is given e.g. with 150W RMS and I also “feed” it with 150W, because at nem 200Hz Singal the TMT gets the full 150W off (impedance change sometimes excluded) and at 10kHz the HT the full power. But is that really so? Such an HT will need much less power and above all tolerate al So I’m starting from cheap 2-way systems… Why don’t I gril the HT when I turn it up? The impedance of an HT will usually be 4 ohms, so it shouldn’t be that way. Please explain to me… MfG, Diddy

Hello you experts Ask you a question: I have n E46 (Limo) with a ski bag and want to build in with a small system because I am totally dissatisfied with the Haman/Cardon.. Thought about the following components: – Doors: Audio System X-ion 165 E46 – Sub: Thought about the GZHW or the GZRW from GZ in 30 or 38… – End stage (Sub.): Hifonics Merlin Warrior (450Watt RMS Monoblock at 1 Ohm) – End stage (door speaker): Hifonics Falcon Warrior (2x 140Watt at 2 Ohm) – Radio: Alpine or Clarion.. Irgendwa about 300€ Now my questions to you: 1) Should I rather install the sub as a bandpass or bass reflex? How do I get more pressure/bass through the ski bag?? 2) Do you think the final stages are sufficient? 3) Do you have better alternatives to sub.?? Should be in about the same price range… .. We see you I am in this regard the total layman Please help!! THX!!!

Hello, I recently made a partial cascade, if someone breaks into my car. Unfortunately I didn’t have one of my things (except dr Eton, which was new) a bill, because I needed them all through the forum. So I went to the insurance today and asked how it looks like when my car is being broken up. He then told me that only that for which I have an invoice is being paid. That’s understandable, only I have to take my car and I then suggested that I could take pictures of the things and then give them to them. But he said, “We don’t do this here.” He said I could do some and keep them at home, that would bring me little, could take pictures of something else. Can’t prove that it was really in my car. At the moment, cars were broken up here in the area again and I’m afraid every night that mine was the next thing. hste is. I have an alarm system, but that stops the few nowadays. Hello guys, I am actually more on the road in the Opel Vectra-B forum, but have a question about the polo (Polo II, first registration 12/1992, Steilheck) of my friends. After the pram no longer needs to be transported and thus the storage in the polo can find its place again, my wife wishes to be able to listen to some reasonable music in the car again (boxing in the front are quite in the bucket). Unfortunately I am subject to a certain quality requirement, since my wife singer i I would like to replace the original loudspeakers of VW with an inexpensive solution with quality. But it doesn’t have to be from VW, but should fit without mechanical change of the brackets. I’m not sure at the back: I’m better to put something in the rack (2 loudspeakers) or a subwoofer in the box in the trunk. Maybe then another pa would have to be put in the trunk. ar tweeter in the back? Since I have not put so much value on the audio technology in the vehicle for a few years, I am not up to date and need support. Would be nice if I would get some suggestions/tips from you how to solve it best/favorably.

Would a new HU be useful: – mp3 capable – very good radio reception – good sound – high pass filter (every other thing I don’t care, except possibly still half good design, so please no blinky-blinky pinball optics ) Price as cheap as possible up to 500 EUR!! The entry model of Alpine (200 EUR) even has an HPF, but the Alpines should only be on average in the reception, right?

Closed volume as trunk / subwoofer? Hi! My special problem: My car has a closed volume as trunk (stage rear) with non-foldable backrest with only minimal openings to the passenger compartment. I was offered a closed subwoofer with 2 x JL 10W3, which would fit exactly into the trunk. Bassreflex does not exist,only bandpass would be possible,or? Would I be able to cope with the closed system? Greetings, Martin

Servus, I’m just thinking about switching to full active. But since I have a 3 way front + sub and the Sony Radio only offers 5 channel LZK two LS one channel parts. Now I wonder which LS pair I best give a separate channel and which I can put together. The HTs and TMTs by chance FAST have the same distance to the listening position (driver side 4cm difference, passenger side 6cm). The TMT and kickers lie over 20cm apart. It is now more meaningful to operate TMTs and HTs together, as before, because the deviation would not be so great. Or would it be more important to allow the HTs own channel to precisely adjust the TMTs as they play the larger frequency range and purchase the larger deviation from the kickers? The Eton at the kickers would have a phase controller, with which I could probably align them to the TMTs. Or HT and Kicker on the sleben channel, LZK on the HT The kicker would also have a quite large deviation. But would have the advantage that the two frequency ranges are far apart and changes by equalizer would not affect both LS even in the transition range. How would you do that if you didn’t have money for a Prozi or 7 channel radio?

Hi, next month I’ll get a golf 5 ^^ well my rockford and my rainbow and also the old lightning audio I wanted to let in my 3 golf, or maybe sell. well, I just don’t know exactly what to get so much good ^^ think that I’ll get as a final stage ne eton pa 1054, find the really horny, tonal and also from the performance it just tunes with the front system I’m still net conclusive as well as with the bass. Hi guys. I’ve been a proud owner of a Golf IV, 1.9 TDI, 110 HP Edition 5-door for 1 month now. The car has the standard BETA Radio and a VW CD deck. Now I would like to have a new radio (preferably blue dot because of the GALA function) and of course also a few speakers in the rear doors. Have read here that you can easily install the front speakers in the rear doors. Only what is nice about speakers for the front? In my Golf 3 I had a Pioneer radio (4×50 watts), Pioneer speaker in the front (2×130 watts) and Pioneer speaker in the shelf (2×180 watts). All this without power amplifier. The sound was absolutely sufficient for me. So from the sound I need something normal-good with which I can hear some loud music. Is there a recommendation for speakers? And if someone has a radio (with GALA function) for recommendation I wouldn’t be angry either. Thank you! Would be really grateful for answers. MfG. LogSeb
