Hi, now I’m almost at the end of my expansion and soon I’ve connected everything. Now I want to adjust everything rationally. Unfortunately, I don’t have a plan yet where I have to separate what and how I can test what is best for me. How can I set an exact separation frequency with a small poti at the level? There’s nothing exactly on it. Since I have a Q 22 each, the two should be set exactly the same but how do I do it? Please help me. How should the front system be tuned? I have installed an active crossover and that is the one of Sony XEC 505 or something like that. With this I can still adjust a lot from the front but I have to adjust the power levels first. What exactly does low pass and what high pass mean? What do I have to dial? I have always set it up until I found it good but I never took the meaning to heart.

Hello, I just got a 4 golf gti and wanted to install a system. I already got a radio from the old car, the rest I just sold with was just scrap. Now I wanted to get some new speakers for the front and a sub as well as a matching amplifier! What can you recommend to me up to 800Euro in total? MfG Andy

My front system Rainbow SLX 265 Deluxe and my Sub Audio System Radion 12BR hang on the Carpower Wanted 4/320. The bass from the subwoofer is great, unfortunately there is almost no kickbass at the front. Tonal the system is already good, but with high levels it gets a little shrill and distorted. Now I was told that the Wanted is not a “sound amp” and e.g. the Xetec is better for lengths. My question(s): 1. Does the Wanted not excite my components tonalally or can you get more out of it? 2. I Would another level bring tangible improvements? If so, which? 4. Would you operate the Rainbow and the AS Sub on a 4-channel (like me) or on a 4-channel and 2-channel?

Moin! Here I have a cheap power amplifier (~30 Euro, 4×150 Watt) which I have now connected directly to the battery after hours of attempts. There is nothing connected except the 4 loudspeakers (which are the standard in the E46). Even if no source is connected, it sounds like the part runs out once every 1.5 seconds. If you close what is on (e.g. iPod) the music is then stopped every 1.5 seconds short. Ignition is off, no other devices run… I don’t know any more advice…

Hello, since I still don’t agree on what I should get for a HU up to max. 150€, I wanted to ask if you should pay attention to whether the radio Mp3 has? Otherwise I would maybe get a Pioneer DEH-P 6500R. Does that do something? Has just no Mp3. Have my JCV-611 changed again. Was fortunately not installed yet. I have heard many times the Mp3 function not use because the quality suffers from it. Is that audible at all? You know another radio up to 150€ which is better than the Pioneer. Alpine doesn’t quite agree to me because of the optics and because the prices only have a pre-out. MfG, Dirk
