  • New radio has to come!

I’m looking for a new radio because I just changed my car and in the new one only an original manufacturer is part of it. I had about 5 years old sony in it so far…. was actually quite satisfied with it, but I already read here that sony is not very popular….. but I’m open to creative suggestions. on the conditions: max 500 €, mp3, cd, wma etc. are probably self-evident, reasonable ipod support should be feasible. since I often also sometimes radio h öre is also important to the tuner. musically I hear everything across beet… oh yes, possibly retrofitting amplifiers must also be. so suggestions are welcome… and if I am already there: how to find out here with navi/radios with extendable screens from ? what can you recommend there ? thanks already for the tips !

  • Front system and residual system leveling

Components: Radio: Alpine 9812rb Front Power Amplifier: Audison LR 604 XR Sub-End Stage: Emphaser EA 2200 Subwoofer: emphaser T3 (12 inches) Front: HT: CarPower *The Dome* TMT: still Eyebrid 16er, soon Micro Precision Series 5 The whole in the Golf 3 Just like I now have my front system in, front is full at the Audison, is played with the internal switches, how do I now adjust the ratio of HT and TMT (everyone has their own GAIN controller)? what do I have to adjust first? the HTs run on 4 800 HZ (more goes net at the Audison, or should I go further down? what is a good value?) TMTs now have 60 HZ (set on the radio, gives only a gain control at the Audison) Then the woofer should fit in, it runs fully active, and the alpine regulates the frequency, the pitch is set 80 HZ, the radio can not go further down. Or would be better to set over power amplifier, buddy has got advised over radio, is better. Doors are still insulated at the front as soon as there is Oh and how does it look from the radio with the equalizer? e.g. for Treble, should I change something, lower it higher? or leave it to zero?

  • Golf 3 boxes for the amature board

Hello, because at the moment my boxes from the amature board give up their mind I have been looking for some information about the boxes included in them (diameter). Since I like to get more powerful. Then I have another question about the boxes at the doors.. I have no. It is also not laid a cable. When I open the door I see a black rubber thing standing out. Now… do I have to get some more cables and pull this through? Thank you

  • Hat rack or wooden board?

I made a wooden hat rack in my 3 gulf where there is a Canton 3-way system. But now the shelf is not the lightest and thinnest and is only lying on. Do you come with what through the door? Am I already considering whether I should take the original shelf, and then reinforce it with wooden strips. Would that be possible? or would they with despite affording any time bagging?

  • My installation [and a little thank you]

So the most important thing first: Thank you! Today, during the crafting I remembered the thread again, in which many complained that although tons of information are accepted, but never much comes back. For example in the form of pictures or installation reports or the like. So to counteract this I put in today some (unfortunately bad) pictures here! Did it help me in the GFK thread it really to tackle! Besides, you have significantly infected me with the Hifi virus, w I’m not so sure yet if I should thank you for this But now on the topic: Today was on the program to spat the HTs into the A-pillar. Remember: Domis and a narrow A-pillar do not fit together as well as I always thought. In this beauty (and as a 20 year old student my whole pride) the Domis should come:My car for the first time made a few small rings for the HTs. Ring The small aluminum pots are from a well-known large furniture house, top for the purpose pot Scaffolding One side “finished”.Just right Sooo don’t worry, of course I still have to use fine spatula. I only sprayed black for the time being, because I have to drive around with it, because time is short Achso and on the amature board is NOT a spatula, these are adhesive residues that have already been removed And here are two pictures with both sides. Are super aligned and sounds really fine. If I get the finishing touches now I’m really happy! 12

  • I’ve got this kind of idea about the rear system.

so first I tell you what I have in it. as you know I have a blackmaxx with 210wrms amplifier that plays through the ls covers of the shelf. then I have 2x helix coax in the a-board (the expensive for 60€). and now I finally did it, I have doorboards with the cheap helix 165mm compo for 70€. so far so good finally I have a strong and loud fs and I can put the sub on 50hz *joy. so now I have everything in front of the radio (blue point 4x25wrms), d he 100mm a little quieter since the fast start clipping, the new fs can be turned up completely without any distortion or clipping. now I would like to install something for the rear, so that they also come into some listening pleasure. unfortunately I have no channels anymore on the radio and a suitable level for the fs and the sub find ned (the sub needs 500wrms and the ls 50wrms). my amplifier compartment is also only 30x30cm large. now I thought I could install this mini amplifier with 2 x15wrms, that would have to be enough for a few coaxe in the doors. but I was afraid for the sound. does anyone have any idea??? on my page under screw corner is the expansion, yes the with the leather looks shei*e will soon set pictures with the alu border.

  • What are the Car Audio ́lers working on?

n ́evening, because I have often asked myself when reading some of the contributions, where it comes from partly (for my terms) enormous knowledge on the topic car-audio, I would like to bring in this experience, whether it comes from the profession or is simply a hobby. with some users here, I can almost not imagine that they have “only” acquired “by the way”, if yes, my respect. I have also often noticed that some sp ezis here are younger than I thought, what gives me a look at my own knowledge slight headache so, who likes, can post here his old, his profession and the way he got to car-audio. who doesn’t like it, just let me make the start: I am 21, time soldier (has quite little to do with car-audio ) and I got to car-hifi via the hobby home-hifi and wants and must definitely learn a lot more about it…if I’m getting my time off here I would definitely like to continue my professional life in this direction.

  • Stylish whistling through the boxes with the speed!

Hello! I have the following problem: I installed a new radio in my car (Bluepoint Los Angelas MP 72). Since then I have a speed whistle on my boxes. With my old radio this was not the case. I installed new boxes in the front and additionally installed a chinch cable for the bass amplifier and looked for a new mass point. Does the whistle come from my new radio or from my change e.g. mass point? Can not imagine that an expensive radio generates whistles and me Who can help me? I’m glad about every answer.
