Different prices at a gas station
Moin, there I drive yesterday afternoon to the local Bft gas station, because the price for super gasoline was attractive. 1,379 € was a favorable price for our region. Otherwise I prefer to use a HEM gas station in the commercial area. I drive to the pump and refuel. During the process I notice that the price did not correspond to the price tag. Here I demanded 1,439 €. I interrupted the tank process immediately, but I had already for 43 € fuel in the tank. The man at the cash desk drew out that I had filled during a price change and the conversion time needed. The price indication at the pump would be relevant. Can that be? I would not have hit the gas station otherwise at all. Is this a fraud case? Presence of false facts? Many greetings Thomas

ATTENTION E10!!! Engine problems!!
Hello car friends! I can only warn all Ford Fiesta drivers! Better fuel NO E1o! I have fuelled with my (newly bought 3 days ago) Ford Fiesta, BJ1998 yesterday E10. Now the engine is running extremely restless, no longer pulls, stutters…!!! If I just didn’t do it! I did ask myself: “..as well as all Ford engines can handle E10…” but it WAS A FEHLER!! After I have fueled now for 20 EUR conventional SUPER it is a bit better, but not like r ok! Has my engine already been damaged? What do I do now? Should I refuel the tank immediately with Super? Super Plus? Or better drive the tank empty before (about 1/4 tank filling)? Or do I break even more with it? HELP!!! Peppermint

e10 basically bad for engines, water dilutes the engine oil
Hello, that’s what someone from BMW said. More water is to be released during the combustion of e10 and thus dilute the engine oil. This can reduce the life of the engine and more frequent oil changes are due. Source: NDR2 News.

Is the ADAC crazy now?
According to ADAC, the oil companies are to blame that E10 is selling very sluggishly. They wouldn’t clear up enough that it can easily be refueled in most vehicles and does not bring a disadvantage. Häää? I think the ADAC has fuelled the “negative propaganda” with the most… Funny that they blame the oil companies… What’s next? The guilt is put on the ADAC… and then the guilt is pushed funny and and the 0-8-15 motorist still thinks his car explodes. Especially that one claims something like that.. the oil companies are to blame *ARGH*

Extension of petrol station network
The EU has prescribed that the petrol stations/mineral oil companies increase their organic content. In your opinion, when will a large group offer E85 nationwide? The network is so far rather modest, I have to drive e.g. 8 km to the tank, where I usually don’t have the desire or time to go. From on the road on the highway or to say nothing…

E10 Fuel, CO2 value and car controls
Hello ! With all this back and forth around the E10 fuel I have a different question : If I now have instead of 5 percent, 10 percent ethanol in petrol, I then also automatically have 5 percent less CO2 emissions because more ethanol is in it ? The consumption should not be higher according to the Technical University of Vienna. If it is the case that I have less CO2 emissions then I would have to pay also less car taxes ? I have one car EZ: 02.03.2009, 1149 ccm, key N r. 62 and a CO2 value of 135g/km. I pay 54 Euro taxes for this. If my vehicle then has 5 percent less CO2 emissions I would be at 128 g/km CO2 and would then have to pay only 40 Euro car taxes.

Hot running at low temperature with E85
Hello, at my Golf 2 (see Sig) I noticed recently that it takes a long time (18-22km) until it is at operating temperature (80°C oil temp). Now my questions are: 1. Does this come from the lower combustion temperature of e85 gü. Superbenzene? 2. Due to longer warm-up the engine is subject to higher wear, but what for the reason that the engine is damaged by e85, right? 3. Is it vllt. on my thermostat, which is 4 years old? I observe this problem. since I completely switched to alcohol (mid-September, 6000km, continuous filling with ca: e67) but I didn’t think about anything. Vllt. can you help me or confirm one of my conjectures.
