Hello I’m looking for an OBD2 device for private use. At the moment I want to use it for a Volvo V50 and where e.g.: – read out error codes – RDS sensors read out values and learn new sensors – activate / deactivate daily As far as I have seen, there is good support around the Autel devices. ICh momnetan but have no insight into the model. There are the devices with MK, IM, DS, MX, MS, MP abbreviations at the beginning. Then still the ownlic He model 608, 808, 906, 908 etc. Besides that there should probably also be differences between products from China or Germany. Can someone please bring light into the dark here?

Hello. Can someone here in the OBD forum tell me what meaning all the error codes have on my Grandland X. Read out with ScanDoc, can delete the error codes, but always appear again. To this extent everything works, also the update, system and map material for the multimedia system I got installed with a trick. Or can it be that there is a software weakness in the system or a mass point problem?? Have times attached the protocol. I am grateful for known error codes. Greeting Werner

Hello and already happy Easter, I am looking for an OBD diagnostic device. Currently I have and use an OBD Eleven, for VAG vehicles you can do a lot with it… I don’t want to buy a VCDS anymore. However, since there are still Renault vehicles in the household, and BMW, Opel, Fiat and others in the familiar circle, I would like to have a device that covers the most common brands. It should be able to read out and delete beside errors of the ECUs absolutely: great would it be if it could read out the FIN of the vehicle and program tire pressure sensors, but that is not absolutely necessary. A standalone device would be better for me than one for which I still need a laptop. The device should as far as possible not cost more than 1000 €. Does anyone have experience with it? Is the price dream idea or is there anything there?

Hello everyone, I have already tried to find my problem infos, try here too. I ordered (to solve a catalyst problem,) a cheap diagnostic cable from China. The broadcast arrived with a corresponding CD with a diagnostic program for Win XP. After the Kat problem was solved I tried to test further diagnostic possibilities from the program and clicked on the button “Output Test”. Unfortunately the test could not be completed because the program crashed. I turned off the ignition on the car and shut down the Pc. And the next day after the engine start I noticed that the power steering is not working, the steering wheel is difficult to turn (servo symbol lit after the engine start). Could it be that during the test a mistake has crept into any controller in the car? Where can I get help? If I go to a car workshop, they will take me seriously if ic h tell about the incident? Where can I have the mistake coded away again?

My two electonic keys do not get access to vehicle detection and thus to start. In the left armature only one symbol is shown (opened lock), no further reaction. A readout of the error memory or a reprogramming of the key with the code is thus not possible. Batteries in the keys are new. Doors and trunk lids open and close no problem. All fuses and plug connections are pumped –> all i.o. main battery is new. Me ine Opel workshop has not yet located the error. Who has already had a similar experience and can help me here. Hello, I have the CAN-bus “drive” in the Audi Q3 in the sky above the reading lights, this runs between the control unit for the main-beam assistant (J844) and the diagnostic interface for the data bus (J533). I would like to know if I come to the said bus (“drive” to all the essential information that allows a live recording of the driving mode (speed, speed, oil temperature, charging pressure, etc.). Background: I would like to install a “black box” , which records the mentioned data in order to prove, if necessary, an improper handling of the engine (full gas with cold engine, etc.). However, the boxes/plugs available for this purpose are usually connected to the CAN bus “Diagnose” (i.e. the OBD2 interface), but there such a “Black Box” is anything but hidden and is immediately removed in the workshop, since the interface is needed for its own purposes. In the roof such a box would not be noticeable and could record the data independently of the use of the OBD2 interface. In this case: CAN bus lines can be turned off with short (!) tap lines (of course still twisted) (T-shaped), or?A legal instruction about “black boxes” is not required. Let’s assume that everyone is pointed out when handing over keys (if necessary acknowledged by signature) and several corresponding hint stickers exist.

Hello guys! I have already looked around a little in this forum and already experienced a lot of helpful thanks already once for this! I wanted to ask my question again concretely, in order to understand nothing wrong! I drive a polo wrc BJ2013 and would like a program with which I can drive out “performance curves”. I don’t want to be able to change anything or anything like that. I’m all about the fact that without constant begging at the tuner, in real driving mode (e.g. on different parts of the road).
