Hello, I bought this OBD adapter http://www.conrad.de/…/…-for-all-vehicles-with-OBD-II socket?… With the adapter is a suitable app, which does not offer as many functions as Torque Pro. Now I bought Torque and created a profile for my car (VW Golf IV 1.9l TDI Built. 2000). At the settings for OBD I did not change anything, except that I have selected my adapter. Now I can easily use the ECU with the included app. With Torque Lite the same thing. But with Torque Pro I can’t even connect to the ECU. Error codes should definitely be present. The ABS and ESP lights both glow and with a device from the workshop you can also read out the error codes. Does anyone have an idea why this is so?

Discrepancy: Coolant temperature vs. indicator in binary field
As an OBD beginner, I have an elementary question: In my Audi80 ABK I see after a diagnostic drive with VCDS-Lite in the log for the measuring value block 001 – that from coolant temp >=64 degrees the associated bin status indicates that the temp >=80 should be (remarkable!!) – at the same time a second indicator skins the speed (2158) in the invalid range (why??) What’s wrong here? How can I fix this?

Heating does not appear in the installation list, but works
Moin people, little problem at my Phaeton. I can’t start the heater by remote control and menu for 2 days. When driving it runs without problems. There are no errors in the heater. However, it is no longer in the installation list under 19 (CAN). However, in the long coding it is in it. I don’t understand why. Does anyone have a hot tip? What interface upgrade? VCDS or VCP?
Hello, I would like to hear your opinion about the VCDS/VCP-upgrde. IST-Situation: I am currently selling our Audi Q7 4L, after which a Q7 4M follows. I have a VCDS v1 HEX-CAN/K-Line and VCP v1 from 2014. I don’t seem to be able to start much with both of them in the future. I don’t have a maintenance contract for VCP anymore, i.e. the last usable version would be only 5.6 or so anyway. Upgrade to VCP v2 costs about 250-270€, then maintenance contract fees of about 70€ per year. VIM w ar then included, but I would have to buy now (about 150€). Upgrade to HEX-V2 Pro (cable) costs 250€, to HEX-NET Pro (Wireless) costs 450€. No maintenance fees, but it doesn’t feel that much anymore at VCDS. VCDS is more restricted, but I can handle it well. I found VCP at that time very unintuitive, I had only used afaik twice to flash a control unit, which is not possible with VCDS at all. The question is, what do I do? I would first update only one of them, since I use it too rarely. Just make bits of stuff on my own car and stop at friends or neighbors. What would you do? The added value of the VCP upgrade would tend to be higher. And I can still use VCDS in the old version, which is practically not possible with VCP. In addition, there is the question about the distributor. I bought VCDS from diesel screwdrivers and then moved to pci-tuning for €50. Kind of better, but I haven’t discovered actual added value so far. t. At VCP the same thing. At that time bought at vag-tech in Poland, occasionally now on the vcp-forum. The support there should be good, but felt I find in the forum almost only information about golf, polo and seat. Stemei also offers an upgrade. Support there should be rather bad, but some of his codings he probably only gives out when buying there via the manual. On the other hand it is also known that many of the stemei.de coding are only wildly copied and not working. I used to use the site frequently and have often been of help to me.

VW CANBUS programming
Dear forum! I have the following problem: After installing a VW RCD510 radio in my Golf V (BJ 2006, 1K) I had to install a newer CANBUS gateway. With the VCDS software I saved the long coding of the old gateway bit for bit in the screenshot. Unfortunately I can not transfer the coding of the old gateway into the new gateway, since there are only 3 bytes left there. About the build list (so much I have read from various YouTube videos and forum contributions) I have d the installed components are activated. Unfortunately this does not lead to the solution of the problem. The ECU is still reported as incorrectly coded. I have attached the corresponding error logs and screenshots. I would be very pleased about constructive help. Here is a short overview of the gateways used: 19 Gateway old: 1K0 907 530 F Gateway H10 0120 Coding: 3D0F0B00070000 19 Gateway new: 7N0 907 530 AA J533 Gateway H41 1632 Coding: 350000 Many greetings Christian Theis

Read out error memory – Problems
Hello dear community, My Passat B5 (BJ: 1999; engine: AHL 1.6l petrol) is jerking and has detonators, so I wanted to read out the error memory d2e engine control unit. I ordered the following OBD Bluetooth adapter: https://www.amazon.de/…/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?… The adapter could be connected via Bluetooth, but I can’t access the control unit with any protocol. I used various software, such as Torque or OBD Auto Doctor. Of course, the adapter was Did I buy too cheap? What am I doing wrong? Or is my car simply not compatible?

AL319 cannot connect to my Peugeot 206
Hello, I have just asked several times to connect an AL319 with my 2000 Peugeot 206 1.4l TU3JP KFX Magent Magnelli. According to the list onhttp://www.obd-2.de/obd-2-vehicle list.html the vehicle should already have OBD II. Of course the socket has it too. Unfortunately, the device only reports that it can not connect. I already wrote to the seller of the AL319, someone of the professionals can give me a tip here.

How to deal with error memory?
Hello guys, I got VCDS. Today I reset the service display and read out the error memory. There were three errors in it. A four-year-old (unplausible signal from the transmission), one from three months ago (pre-glow system) and one from yesterday (difference pressure sensor unplausible signal). All sporadic. The two older errors are probably of no significance and were one-time events, but the one from yesterday requires observation. What do you do with the errors? Do you want to delete them and see if they’re coming back?

Turn off engine control ramp
Hello TalkGemeinde Have a question about the engine control light. I heard that you can turn off the engine control light in cars. Had a vehicle once where the lamp was not able to get off. Always some mistakes in the control unit and this lamp was annoying. Now my question whether someone has done it before or maybe gives me a program where you can turn off a fault lamp. Especially because of the Tüv there must be all lamps off. Thanks in advance

Again… ;-)…: Which diagnostic scanner, which SW?
Moinsen, there are already some threads on the topic – nevertheless I start one more time. Will me actually for weeks (for the current occasion – with my W203 CL lights up the engine control light, evaluation with Torque reports an error at the Lambdasonde before Kat) buy a diagnostic scanner or a SW, however does not come to Potte, because the descriptions of the manufacturers are partly very poor and I do not really deal with the topic so far I’m just a hobby screwdriver and I’m sure I won’t learn SGs or anything. But who knows, I’m just starting to deal with the subject, so I’m already itching to buy a reasonably affordable device that can do as much as possible. Even though I may not be able to use it to the full at first. And knowing that the egg-legging woolen milk sow just doesn’t exist for lukewarm. Maybe you can help me a little bit anyway. Application primarily for my Mercedes S203 and W203 CL, but always like to buy “waste metal” from other manufacturers, so the device should be either multi-brand or (possibly) purchase options. Currently I have in my sights: SW: – Quantex scandoc (single brand, expandable, per brand 50,–) – Quantex scandoc compact (single brand incl. 1 brand, expandable, every additional 50,–) devices: – AUTEL MOT Pro EU908 (multi brand) – Carsoft MI6 / MERCEDES & SPRINTER (single brand, ohn) e Extension possibility). Especially for the Carsoft products I could not find anything here in the forum. Thank you in any case for your inputs. Greetings, Andreas
