Hello together, I have the question, if someone has experience with the Android app “ScanMaster Lite”?http://www.wgsoft.de/…/144-scanmaster-android-elm327-free.html The fact that the app only works with certain adapters and others are locked is not there. I had bought the following adapter: KONWEI KW902 https://www.google.de/search?q=KONNWEI+KW902&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8 Although the adapter was found and displayed in the ScanMaster Lite app, the following error popped during the OBD scan attempt. on: “BT device xx:yy:zz:aa not found” (the letters stand for an adapter address – see photo in the attachment. Can it be that even the app does not work with x-any BT adapters or could a defect there be adapters? Thank you!

With the Mini ELM327 it says that it can not ” ATD, ATFE, ATCEA, ATFCSMx, ATSWxx, ATRx, ATBI, ATLP etc.”. Can the other two or why do you need this? The OBDLink MX has an up-to-date firmware, does the OBDLink LX have that too, do you need it? Are the two expensive ODBLink adapters worth the extra price?

On longer journeys, I have a handheld device with me to assess the degree of breakdown of my VWs and Audis on the road. More precisely, there are currently two: SX40 and SX45. The first to display real-time data and engine errors, the second for errors from other ECUs. Now there seems to be an SX45 Pro that combines these two functions in one device for some time now and it is my intention to buy it before my upcoming Balkan trip this year. The reports at Amazon are very positive, but on some points too superficial. Thus, it is not clear from any contribution whether it provides more real-time data for OBD borderline vehicles such as the Golf 4 than for the SX40 which is worrisome on this point. Therefore, my question is whether there is someone here who has such a device and such a vehicle and could try it out.

Hello, after long abstinence from the forum here I have to bother you again with a question My wife recently got her Seat Arona. I thought I read out the error memory with the VCDS. But apparently the model is still too new. It is read out, but always with the message that the vehicle is not supported. I had updated the software and also the firmware of the dongle before. How long does it take after your experience so long until new Mo to be supported there? to all of you a beautiful WE.

Hello everyone, I recently bought a diagnostic device from Duonix X-600 at Ebay. Everything came complete with diagnostic connectors for different types of vehicles 750 euros. I have long wanted a reasonable diagnostic device because I don’t always want to go to the Bosch service to read out small errors. I have to say that I have been using a VAG-Com for diagnostics on VW T4 etc. The Duonix X-600 promises to handle exactly this component and many others. When I got the device, I was already released to some extent because the processing did not correspond to my expectations. But the correct hammer was then the first diagnosis on a very normal VW T4 transporter year 1996. The device used for the automatic troubleshooting more than 20 minutes, a felt eternity. My old VAG-Com does not need three minutes for the same process. To crown you then roll over the much too small display ellenlang down for more than two errors. I then hung the device to a Smart, which it did not recognize at all and then to an Audi A4 B6 again with the same expectation only to complete the standard program. All in all, it remains to be seen that every x-any diagnostic device for 50 euros from the hardware store would have been just as good and the purchase of the Duonix X-600 was my biggest misinvestment in recent years! Hello guys, maybe someone can also tell me where I can get steering assistance on ERWIN or anywhere via login codes for the ECU. Have tried various standard logins (e.g. from VCDS) without success. In VCP there is the function to load the characteristic lines of different golf models, but as it looks like, a logincode must be entered before, since the function breaks with error. Hello dear people, I finally have a VCP system and the corresponding .SGO file at hand. Now I finally wanted to update the firmware of my MSG from the 1366 to the 2116. Aleerding I don’t really trust it yet. Is there something to consider, e.g. login code, immobilizer or the like? Actually this should all be problem-free, but I don’t want to stand there afterwards and the engine doesn’t work anymore, because you need some online connection to VW after all. sweet Benni
