Purchase decision – Which OBD2 interface
Hello Leutle… I’m looking for a way to read at least the error memory of our fleet. I first stumbled over the “finished” devices, which show you the simple error code. Of course, it would be much more interesting to use software on the laptop. Software should be e.g. http://www.obd2-software.de. Just asks me the question about the hardware: Which adapter does it have to be??? He should like to use Fehlerdi agnose, etc. offer for: Audi A2 (year 2002) BMW 318i (year 2002) VW Golf V (year 2005) VW Golf VI (year 2009) VW Passat (year 2002) I have noticed this part: OBD-DIAG® 2055 Interface (http://www.obd-diag.de) Or the one here: mOByDic 3200 RS-232 (http://www.ozenelektronik.com) Or the: 11x multimode OBD-DIAG® 4000 (http://www.obd-diag.de) What is the advantage of the 4000er? The CAN bus should “support” Can I use it to recode (see http://www.motor-talk.de/forum/vw- read-umcode-t2206278.html )? It would be great if someone could explain something to me in this area and give me a nice purchase recommendation. Before the allegations come: I have now 2 hours google and the forum search tried to get me a rough overview of the topic OBD2, however, it still seems to me in many places quite Spanish…

Gutmann Mega Macs 55
Hello, would you need some help with Mega Macs 55… Have an older Mega Macs 55 Year of manufacture 2002 and Software Stand 32. I bought the tester a while ago. Now I would like to update the software via Gutmann. But with older devices an update was no longer possible and you had to send in the Macs and then something was changed on the hardware. Does anyone know about you? Have already with the people of Gutmann phone However, the seller of the device had told me that the tester had been upgraded once. However, this was not done by Gutmann (Gutmann Siegel on the back) but the Gutmen did not want to give me any information about what had to be changed during an upgrade so that an update to software 33, 34 or 35 works. They only offered me that I can get through and that I can get through. they are looking for whether the tester has been upgraded. In the conversation, however, it turned out once again that they prefer to push me a new tester etc…. Just want to be sure that they don’t tell me something where not right (tester has not been upgraded, tester can’t be upgraded or similar). Can someone give me information about what needs to be available so that you can play up newer software (hard disk memory, memory, memory, ROM etc.)? Hardware stand according to type label H1.6 and serial number starts with 14… Before that, thank you for your help. MfG spaceballer P.S.: Know me relatively well with PC hardware and DOS etc.. I have already found out the key combination to get into DOS mode… Technical terms no problem…

Reset Audi Multitronic
Hello, I have an Audi A6 s.u. with a MT that makes a bit of a bitch. I was recommended to set the adaptation values to 0. Was then at AUDI and asked the question. He thought I should do another MT diagnostic, if there was something broken, one could use Kulanz and so on. Can I put the adaptation values back with 0815 interface and VAG COM software? If so how and where do I do that? I prefer to AUDI? Stephan

Which diagnostic device for MB X253 ?
I have read the OBDII forum with the search criterion Mercedes over 3 days now, at least I am now completely unsure. I am not a newcomer, owns for our VAg vehicles (woman, daughters ) a VCDS after a VAG -COM cheap modem has been eliminated. For my W208 with 38 pin. plug a MUX of which I don’t know anymore, bought it somewhere in Germany with Carsoft 7.4 and for the journey a Carsoft MI6, which did not really inspire me and I think iCarsoft is the new maker of this company Carsoft in Belgium. Support was good until I paid, then no answer. The SD is the egg laying wool milk sour, I realize, at some point I will afford it. But what should I take as a bridge? Service and parking brake I can manage in the workshop menu of the GLC, but without a device I can not live at this driving playstation. Standing there would eventually be the coding of a trailer coupling and sons T HOPELY only service work. What can that do except SD? I’m just looking forward to hearing your experience and advice. Would I turn to Scandoc if that runs on an iPad? Thank you!

VCDS or Scandoc
Hi, everybody, I’d be happy about a decision-making aid. I’m torn between VCDS and Scandoc. I’d like to edit 2 VAG vehicles in the first place. Ggf. still a KIA, but would be rather nice to have. A MacBook is used. Advantage with Scandoc, there is native software for the mac. Visualisation also runs with VCDS. What do you think?

OBD2 PID A4 “Transmission Actual Gear”
Hello together, can someone tell me how the above message is composed? On Wikipedia it is only stated that it is 4 bytes. In a Mercedes forum it was listed that there were. In another document it was written that gear + gear ratio are transmitted. Otherwise I found absolutely nothing about it clear, does not seem to be a really standardized OBD2 message, however some apps support this (e.g. CarScan). The technical prerequisite in the form of a self-made adapter is already taken. Only the gear is missing! Bzw. no matter what I have transmitted to the app so far, there was either nothing ” – ” or permanently ” 0 ” displayed. PS: Unfortunately I can’t look at my golf, because this does not support the PID. Maybe someone knows that, or can just check it out with 01 A4 Thank you very much!

OBD/OBD2 HUD retrofitting – Policy issues
Dear friends, I am tired of looking for the egg-legging woolen milk sow among the cars and equip myself with the features that I lack myself. Rearview camera, PDC, middle armrest etc. It is important to me to have a consumption indicator (current consumption and average consumption) in the car. That just wants to have my hypermiler subconscious. So I came across so-called OBD/2 HUDs. At Amazon, AliExpress and co. there are many that are offered. As far as I understand, the qua i live read-out tools, which I plug into the OBD plug, place me somewhere on the dashboard and can sort of select through the ads. The manufacturers praise that everything from A to Z can be read out: speed speed speed consumption etc. Question #1 I understand the concept so correctly? Further in the text. Now I ask myself if you have to pay attention to compatibilitys. I immediately remember the name OBD or OBD2. Is this all the same? Q #2 Can EVERY car (let’s say from BJ2000) display the consumption via such an OBD2 HUD? Must a special sensor or a preparation be installed for this? I’m just worried that I’m getting such a HUD and then my car is not even able to spit out such information. The said cars would be in the range Hyundai i30cw 2009 KIA Sportage JE 2008 Chevrolet Rezzo 2008 Dear Thanks in advance

OBD II no connection Audi A6 B4 C5
Hello together, in advance I would like to inform you that I have already researched the following topic here. But I did not come to any result. I bought an Audi A6 4B C5 Avant with gas system. At the beginning everything ran quite normal. But at some point the gas system failed sporadically and later completely. The switch has no more power, the diodes no longer glow. Then after some time the engine interference symbol lighted up in the cockpit, disappeared again and registers since The cooling temperature indicator goes up to 120 C and makes alarm. I had the sensor changed. Problem remains, coolant flow is there, coolant also has normal temperature. Now I wanted to read out errors on the OBD II, but two diagnostic devices can’t establish a connection. I am here (still?) not a savvy car screwdriver, but can manage relatively well when I get well explained. Question: What could this be about, that I can’t read anything? Is the additional components like gas system this problem? Before that everything was running. Also another radio was installed by the previous owner, jammed with bypass on one of the fuses. Have I stuck off, errors remain. I open the door the interior lighting on and off. Maybe there is someone here in the area Bremen who has the time and desire to help me. I hope for your help and thank you already (PS: I know where the “Thank you button” is! )
