  • How to determine exact fuel consumption / which measurement method

Hello guys, I’ve been wanting to buy a gasoline-saving car for a while. Unfortunately, every measurement method and every driver says something else. Is there a realistic measurement method or independent examiner (websites) on which the right consumption is called? How can I determine the best fast and online for the interesting vehicles? Thanks for your ideas and advice.

  • Prepare carrots before payment at MB dealer?

Hello, my first car (therefore no sales experience) is a B-170 Bj 2008 almost 150,000km automatic. Inside pretty dry fabric seats, fresh paint damage and now noises from the control chain. The latter is for me now the reason to draw a final line and I would like to buy again a young used one from a MB dealer (or NL not decided yet). Ideally, my old one, if it is still rolling for so long, give there for “payment”. And of that unfortunately I have no idea at all. If the car were in better condition (control chain) I would have it cleaned up and try to sell it, because it is equipped with a steering wheel remote control for a hand control (priced 3000Euro with installation). Just as it is now however, I am already glad if the dealer takes off the handling and I have to take care of nothing. Nevertheless, it would be nice if one could also get something for it. However, if the car is directly in the press I can save any trouble, otherwise I would at least have a professional cleaning and possibly let it get rid of the paint.

  • Payment, expiration, insurance, etc.

Hello together, I have a question or questions about the payment. Suppose I have found a car and would like to buy it now and give my old car in payment, how exactly does this work? Here are my questions: Do my car have to stay right there when a payment is agreed, or can I drive with it until my pick-up is ready? (I would have the registration made by the dealer) How about the registration, does the dealer take care of the problem for me? Insurance and customs are then automatically informed after registration by the dealer, should one nevertheless give notice beforehand? Do you get back from insurance and customs the remaining amount for the unused months ? I think that would have been all questions, especially the point whether you can transfer the car only when the new pick-up is ready, interests me very much. Because assumed the dealer is then still further away it would be a little cumbersome. Thanks for your answers.

  • Sales in Hungary

Hello together, I want to sell my car in Hungary. What do I have to bear in mind?

  • Buyer complains to me unknown accident damage?!

Hello dear people, I hope you can reliably tell me what’s coming or what can come to me… I sold my car yesterday. So from private to private. As a purchase contract the form of the ADAC served. Just the buyer called me. He would have seen today when cleaning that the car had an accident damage and “was painted”. I didn’t notice that in almost two years. In the purchase contract between me and the dealer at that time it also says: Accident damage – not known I have now given him to understand that he should have his guesses examined first. And indeed in a professional workshop/audit organization. Law the case that they detect an accident damage, how does it go on? Do I have to accept this and take the car back? Because I don’t really want to… What possibilities does he have and above all, what possibilities do I have? I am in the ADAC and additionally legal protection assured… I hope someone can help me… I really don’t want to have such a circus -.

  • Mobile, Autoscout and others

At the moment I am looking for a good used one and am extremely angry about the various markets such as Mobile.de Autoscout etc…. I have responded to min 10 ads there, but I have not received an answer. So I wonder what they actually advertise when they don’t answer questions then, or some simply send a prefabricated standard answer that doesn’t answer a question.

  • Sale with deposit by bank transfer

Hello together, I’m just selling my old car. (for mobile for 2.5 inside). Get a call from a German mobile phone number – there briefly talked about the condition and agreed on 2.3 with the addition that there is not much negotiation on site. He wants to send a transporter from Lithuania, who picks up the car and pays 300 euros by bank transfer for my safety. He has also sent me his data and a photo of his passport. I want to remove the signs on the day of collection and only give him the letter (he meant that would be fine for him) and register the vehicle the next day. But I have read a lot of negative things now (but everything with any forwarding contracts and similar. He also wants to send the pick-up authority with him to sign the KV. Do you think this is serious? I mean if I have the transfer and get the rest in cash on the pick-up day is all right. Thank you for your tips in advance!

  • Car sold, paid but not picked up

Hello dear people, I have a problem & have slowly felt I fell for a fraud. I sold my Renault Twingo, was my everyday car. The car is logged off & has no tuv anymore. A gentleman has registered via eBay classifieds, with interest in a purchase. Was finally here, looked at the car & paid. I then handed him the papers and keys. He said he would pick up the car the same day afternoon, but that did not happen. Unfortunately he was away so quickly & I have so stupid and have no purchase contract or data from it. The car is now in my garage, for which I of course also pay money & the buyer does not register any more. How can I proceed now? Police or lawyer? The latter I do not believe is worth with a purchase price of 300€. Thanks already in advance for the answers. LG
