  • Suddenly three cars – which one should we sell?

Moin, we have a pleasant “problem”. My mother-in-law is 80 and can no longer drive a car, and now gives us her car, a golf. So we have now: Golf Plus, MC: DAXA, 122 hp, 110 Tkm, BJ 2011 (inside cared for, outside unfortunately a small dent and small grinding tracks driver side) Mazda 2 (white), 84 hp, 57 Tkm, Bj 2014 (two years ago bought, for 9700 euros from dealer with 25 Tkm, that was probably too much, Fzg looked like new, engine compartment was like new, probably dry ice Opel Corsa C (grey metalic), 80 HP, 55 Tkm (former retired vehicle), 2005 Bj, our previous two-car/purchase car and my “bastel car”. All 4-doors. The golf has more PS, but does not drive as well (“like a tank” says my wife), the Mazda has us too little PS. Despite everything: the golf should stay, we just need the PS for the holiday trip fully packed, that was last time a torture with the Mazda to Italy. Should we now sell the Mazda or the Corsa ? The Corsa is almost “nix” worth more, but also with the Mazda we make “fat” loss.Isn’t now a good selling time with even less than 60 Tkm ? What would we get for it ? rough house number estimate enough. I would rather sell for Mazda. The Corsa is ideal as a second vehicle for shopping, and is not worth much more. With the Mazda we can still “save money” before it becomes even less worth. Or what do you mean ? I can now repair a lot of myself (I would also be confident of the tax chain).

  • Export license plate –> buyer or seller?

Hello together, my good old gulf GTI is now retired after seven years and after many “exchange request for carpet” someone in Italy has opened up who would like to buy the car. After some reading into the topic and reading many threads on MotorTalk, the ADAC page on export marks etc. now asks me a question, which I can not answer completely and to which I have read various different answers: Who buys the export k Do I take a risk here if the car crashes on the overpass? Can someone with an Italian residence even organize the export mark? I would be very grateful about a little information about the situation 🙂 Best greeting Schempi

  • Car rental through car dealership – what should be considered?

I want to sell my old car and a car dealership offered me to mediate the car. Even if the car dealership makes a serious impression, I would like to inform myself in advance about possible pitfalls. The conditions are as follows: they put the car on the yard with them, prepare it and have a comprehensive during this time. There is no commission, that they make apparently pure about the higher selling price. Only if they are not successful, keep s Is it a cancellation, which would mean a flat-rate cost (which I think is fair). Sounds pretty good and I can’t see a catch at first glance. Am I looking at something, or are there other things to consider? Thank you in advance!

  • Sell E Coupé – how to proceed?

Hello together, After I have now taken a car over the company, I want to sell my E class coupé. Car is EZ 9/19, bought as a demonstrator and now 78k km. Service was last made in July incl. new set of summer tires. The question is now what I have to do and how I sell it. My plan would be to have the car cleaned up once and to prefer the HU due in October. Then try to sell via mobile and if that is not possible, WKDA. WKDA price is 28k, ADAC dealer VK 32k. – Does that make sense, or would you do otherwise? – would you extend the MB-100 for up to September 25 for 600? To my knowledge, this is only transferable to private buyers. Thanks & VG

  • Used vehicle in bad general condition.

Hello, I have inherited a small car, Skoda Fabia 2, EZ 2009. The car has a good 90,000 KM down, drives also quite normal and went through the TÜV only in June. However, the car has really many optical and functional defects. – two clearly visible bumps/delles at the front side and at the rear wing – in the interior a lot was smoked, corresponding strong yellowing in the sky and everywhere – exterior mirror at the passenger side can no longer be properly adjusted – Zentr alverlockung sometimes does not work, electric window lifter on the passenger side is defective, at the driver side it sometimes stops and also the trunk can be opened and sometimes not. There will probably be something with the electronics, no idea. – Inspections/maintenance or something has never been done. Only Tüv, oil change and air conditioning has been produced, nothing else. – Tires still have a profile but I think I’m already over 10 years old. I would have these defects corrected, would it cost me more than the car is still worth, wouldn’t it? So I wanted to ask what to do with such a car? Since the car “first” ran 90,000 kilometers, one could drive it theoretically still a few years, even with these described defects. Has it only just come through the TÜV without complaints. Would you just scrap such a car directly if you didn’t need it yourself? Or is there a handle r, who still buy such cars for little money and can start anything with it?

  • Sale 1990s Galant EXE: how best to proceed?

Hello together, after more than 30 years it is time: my brother will separate himself from his beloved Galant EXE (1.8L, 90 HP). First registration was in 1990, bought as a demonstration car. Since then always in his possession. Has almost 400,000 km on the clock and did not cause any significant problems except for the necessary wear repairs. The biggest problem with the engine is that when the battery was disconnected and thus the control unit became powerless, he had always taken quite a long time until he again around ran, better said, until he didn’t go out again and again, when you kicked the clutch and he went into the idle. Jo, and a dent at the back of the bumper, Parkrempler. Now the TÜV has refused the blessing (Rost at Schwellern), an elaborate renovation would be beyond any economic reason. So, now it is in the garage and the question is how to best proceed with the sale. Does this model have any (if at all certainly only very small) lover market? If yes: w ie would be a realistic price idea? Or should one look in the face of the hard reality and be happy when someone picks up the car “for Umme” if necessary and you save yourself the scrapping costs? Thanks already???

  • Which way to sell a vehicle?

Hello together, I am currently wondering on which way I sell my Golf 6, 1,6 TDI (team) best. Private or dealer? Especially with regard to the question whether it is worth renewing the TÜV, which would be due in October. Time pressure for the sale does not exist. Here a few infos: – Bj 2010 (a previous owner) – 286,000 km – switch – 5-door – sliding roof – self steering parking system – seat heating – rain sensor – cruiser – car. Light – complete braking system in front of 1 month renewed – service always according to plan defect: – climate condensator – vehicle jerks from time to time (2 of 10 rides) in the speed range around the 1,400. Has not been checked, but after research I found out that this could be the injectors – electr. Window lifter for the passenger side on the driver side can only go up, but not down – wobble contact license plate lighting back – CD compartment does not pull anything – smaller stone strokes and Scratches Otherwise, the car drives great and has always accompanied me reliably for 10 years and except for wear parts was never a big damage. Since I don’t know very well about cars, I would be very grateful about your opinions, tips or even an approximate price frame (comparison with Mobile was made).

  • Buy Astra Electric Sports Tourer 115 kW GS and sell VW Golf 7 Diesel (150hp)?

Hello, I am about to decide to lease an Astra Electric Sports Tourer 115 kW GS (daily registration) (900€ down payment, approx. 300€ monthly rate, 48 months period, 15,000km) and I am not sure if I should make this exchange with my current Gold 7 limousine diesel (150hp, 128,000 km mileage, year of construction 2013). Basically I would like to switch to a family-friendly e-car. However, I ask myself the following questions: Parallel to the Golf 7 we still own a Gol f 7 Variant (year 18, 78.000km, petrol) which is mainly driven. The diesel is only used for working distance of approx. 10km (one way), so that it is not moving enough. With the diesel the TÜV is on this year and probably a fast brake change. Since the diesel is little driving and older, we consider replacing it. It allegedly has a residual value of 900€. In a private sale it is possible to achieve a little more profit. My questions: Is this the exchange economic or would it make more sense to drive the gold to “end”? The gasoline truck would be enough as a family car. My children are still quite small. Although they are neat, but still something can happen at a car. How “hard are leasing companies after 48 months in return? I thank you very much for the help. I certainly forgot information. Please ask for VG.

  • Car sales (uncertainty)

Good day together, I am currently selling my car privately and I found a buyer yesterday who wants to buy the car. Now I have a funny gut feeling, which may not be necessary, due to lack of knowledge. The following procedure and questions, which make me unsure. The buyer is from Poland. He has already sent me an ID card. I want to log off the car before I do this. I asked him to transfer 500€ in advance. I have to send him my IBAN and my name. He orders the transcription marks and sends them to my address. The remaining amount is paid in cash and paid in the same day together with the buyer at the bank. Now he needs a picture of the vehicle letter to order the signs after the deregistration. Is this uncertain to send such documents to someone else? Is there a pure consideration of the process here or should something better happen here? Bitt e let me know if there are any questions about the situation. Thank you in advance for the possible support!
