Servus together, I will shortly sell my Audi A3 40 TFSI, EZ 07/19. At the moment I ask myself if it makes sense to have a vehicle evaluation in advance to have an independent residual value. If the car had no pre-damage, I would be easier to do so. The car looks like new, nevertheless it had a rear damage (return accident without involvement of the body, “only” plastic parts exchanged) as well as a serious hail damage. Both were fixed in appropriate repair shops and there are no more damage visible. Nevertheless, there will be a loss of value. Whether the car is sold to a dealer or privately I do not know yet, but rather to the dealer. My concerns would be now the aspect of the buyer trying to overpress the price due to the pre-damage. However, there will probably not be any other possibility than a vehicle evaluation to obtain a realistic residual value, at least I could not find anything further on the net. If someone had similar experiences about whether a vehicle evaluation is worthwhile in this case?

What’s the most meaningful thing? Selling or keeping a car?
Hello forum, we bought a used Seat Leon St FR 2.0 diesel with 150ps a year ago. We are also very satisfied and like the car, even if it is a little small for us. Child +2Dogs that can get tight. I have a company car. My wife drives the car mainly. She drove about 25tkm last year. But now my wife has a job in the neighboring town offered. Which then corresponds only to a work path of exactly 3,8km. That means during the week the car would almost never come to operating temperature. I wonder now if we should change to a petrol truck. Kla would be useful in principle. But if I look at the offers at mobile there is hardly anything under 15000 euros. Also a hybrid would be ok but priceless. The new car should have a lot of space. At least a large car. At least 150ps and Ahk since I often pull a hanger on weekends. My wife it is important that he looks a little sporty too. With a Berlingo or caddy she would probably beat me. On the other side I ask for a big car. At least 150ps and Ahk then I should not invest a new time.

Sale to car dealership
Hello! A car dealership has an interest in my used car and after a little e-mail pingpong sent a “purchase contract for used cars”. It contains all the data I have provided, a price and also the field for various things, in which the buyer has also noted the damages mentioned by me (kratzer etc.). This note is signed by him and he asks for my signature. Now for the damages which I have named him but also shown by photo. On my note that she is missing, he says, he can not remember everything, then it has after some back and forth. After I have signed it, then someone comes by, fetches the car and would also drive to the bank. The car dealership exists already, the buyer seems somewhat windy to me. Apart from my feeling of seriosity, what exactly do I sign there? I have a little blackmailed it up. What happens, for example, if he discovers in his manicure then I am obliged to give him a low price?

BUILDINGINAUTO.DE
Hello friends, I bought an Audi A4 2.7 tdi last year. The car looks really awesome (everything black, s-line,automatic…). Unfortunately I noticed two months later when I was at Audi that was played with the speedometer. On the speedometer stands 145000km, in reality it has far over 300000km. I want to get rid of the car now. My question would be if there were any problems if I would sell the car at wirkaufendeinauto.de? Or do you know a better way to sell it?

Contract of sale invalid for different letter numbers?
Good morning together. First of all, I’m sorry if I ended up in the bottle forum, but I didn’t have a plan where I should have created the topic. So, the facts are this: Yesterday a “new” car bought, a youngtimer, from private. At first, as always, everything was happy. I had looked through the car very well, discovered some semi-critical things that the seller didn’t tell me, completed test drive, negotiated price, signed contract and drove home with the car. At night, when I arrived home exhausted, I threw into bed and again studied all the papers. I noticed two things/mistakes that had influenced my purchase decision: On the one hand, the performance data of the car stated in the contract did not match those in the bill and letter (was a different stage of the engine). On the other hand, a different vehicle letter number was given in the contract than in the letter. Now, my question is whether such a contract is valid at all if such errors are there.

Loss of value Short registration Winter vehicle
Hello, does someone know about how a purchase price behaves if you only allow a car for a short time? For example, as a vehicle for bridging due to ordered new car, as a winter car or because it turns out that so much has to be done about the cheap vehicle, which you don’t want to invest anymore…. I’m not sure if a short registration of a car over 10 years old then presses the selling price and you suffer an extreme loss.

Pre-damage / indication of the dealer already in the advertisement (e.g. on mobile.de) ?
Is it okay that a sales advertisement does not contain any indication of any pre-damage? When does a dealer have to point out a pre-damage at the latest? Which documents for the pre-damage should be submitted/included? Thank you for your information!

Is there no longer a fee-based price rating for private individuals?
Good morning, since I’m dealing with a used car purchase, I actually wanted to use a paid service (sweak, for example) to get a meaningful price rating. I had to find out then unfortunately that there is no such thing apparently for private individuals anymore. Since whole business models seem to have been changed. There is of course a superficial, free price information, but that is quite general. I had on a somewhat de I’m just too stupid to be able to find something else, or is there simply no longer such a thing? Best regards

Sale of Polo 9n3
Hello I have a polo 9n3 from 2009 (134k kilometers), which I would like to sell. Currently the ABS display lights up because a sensor is defective at the front left. However, the workshop does not advise me to repair it, since after a measurement of a cylinder head it was determined that it is no longer sealed. It was measured because the engine control light has once lit up. Otherwise the car is actually in order and in a well-kept condition. Now I wonder how and where I sell the car best and what it still has for a value. I hate to sell privately, because I have too little experience and some guidance and safety from a dealer would be important to me. I would be grateful for some advice. I live in Hamburg, if there are even concrete tips. I don’t drive the motorway anymore and can therefore only move the car in a limited way.
