  • Leather care S-line in the Audi A5

hello people a couple of days ago my dear mother in the car scratched my leather, when sitting in the metal of the pants on the side, the leather slightly superficially scratched so you can see wise scratch marks that you can certainly polish away with such special paste or something like color polish paste or something like that in the way I haven’t looked at in the internet yet how much costs and for cleaning leather or repairing leather I don’t want to let it be done either because you only pay for the work cost yourself stupid and stupidly so I want to do it myself by buying such a colored leather paste and doing it yourself what you recommend to me like I do it where I get the stuff and when I’m already there bring the whole leather to shine without seeing any scratchers thank you…

  • To professionals: nicotine odor permanently removable?

Hi all, I have a question for the honest professionals: Can you really remove the nicotine smell from a smoking car (MB combi) forever? I’m a non-smoker and could buy a car that fits otherwise, but where has unfortunately also been heavily smoked. What would I have to spend on such a treatment with a professional? And does this really go away forever or is the success only for a short time? Thank you and greeting, Nipo

  • grim topic of cleaning interior

Hello together, the topic car care has already been mentioned here several times – but mostly the topic of the “outside skin” … therefore the question (allowed) how it “goes” with you inside – is important on the outside and only secondary (if I have ́mal lust & time) – if necessary – or very important, since I don ́t belong to the “outside hui & inside pfui” – generation – ….?? and – how do you clean everything? all at once or only one part – and only once in a while full program? – and above all, HOW CAN MAN AFTER GERING – so to speak – get the interior again somewhat “on front man”? because if I have the whole vehicle from the outside again top, I usually no longer have a desire to join a complex cleaning of the interior! who these my questions “nerve” should just read the next fred!

  • Strips and scratches on the inside of the doors – remove with what?

Hello! Unfortunately, the search function did not really help me even today. I describe my problem here in this new thread: With my car (BMW 116i, year 12/2009, black) the interior cladding of the driver and. passenger doors through numerous straps (i.e. abrasion and dirt of shoe soles) is quite disfigured. I try to always watch out when getting in and out, but sometimes the shoe still stripes the door inside. And: The color of my inner cladding is black (matted), the material is plastic with a rough/structured surfaces. Unfortunately, I can’t get rid of these stupid straps. I already tried: – plastic cleaning cloths from Poliboy – pure alcohol (98%) ….unfortunately without success I have heard/read already the following means. What (also other products) would you recommend to me? – Balistol – dirt eraser (in black plastic probably not so great…) – silicone spray (in case of plastic too) No good idea?

  • Grey leather seats – stubborn brown tire prints

Hello I hope someone can help me. I have a BMW 320 E90 with grey leather seats (Montana-Grey). The previous owner had deposited 2 of the 4 winter bikes on the back bench over a long period of time. This resulted in clearly recognizable BRAUNE prints or discoloration. I have now distributed the profile pattern and the inscription of the tyres on my seats! I have tried it so far with leather care, vinegar water, industry cleaner & Sonax stain & adhesive remover. I have not even got a bit clean with any of the mentioned means. How do such prints arise and how can I get them away from them?! I am grateful for any answer. mfg iLLmat

  • Leather care

Hello! I have a question about the care and cleaning of the leather. I have already read soooo a lot. Only what this already too much and now I don’t even look through. Amor All, Lexol etc My cow (BJ 2012 22tkm) has leather on the dashboard, door panels, arm rack, shift knob and the seats are in partial leather (Alcantara) and of course steering wheel Now my questions: 1) How do you clean and maintain your leather faucet board or door panels etc.? – with Amor All leather care towels? 2) How do you “grease” your steering wheel? I have pretty dry / rough hands. 3) Seats in partial leather. How do I best care for “folding” to avoid / prevent (sitzwangen) Thank you in advance !!

  • Leather and cockpit care

Good evening, the topic has been discussed here a thousand times, but I ask again My GTI is now soon 2 years old and I would like to take care of the leather nicely! Actually the leather is still great, only where you constantly roam over, so the seat edge (left) from the driving seat is slowly spangled (abuse) What do you take so that the leather looks nice again, so dull, not spangled !!!! I don’t want to try some hardware store – crap that spoils the leather I always wipe the leather and cockpit carefully (without cleaning agents)? What can you take for the cockpit? I don’t want to be so hardware store – crap that somehow smells and where everything looks so spangled!!!

  • How to remove scratches in textured plastic?

Hello together, I’ve had an ugly scratch since yesterday, which I can’t get rid of with water and microfiber cloth or rub. See picture. (Sorry, it should actually be turned 180 degrees; the picture is on my head). What do you think, how I get the best away? By scratching the spot has already become something more shiny Hope, you can help me? Greetings Buddy

  • The seat covers are driving me crazy

Hello, I’ve decided again what Our Skoda Roomster came to us in 2009 as a new car. For the interior we decided for then for “Comfort Chic Onyx-Black”. And that was really “chic” … because the dark seat covers work like a lint brush. Actually, you can only sit in with ́ner leather jacket, everything else leaves any fluffs on the seat. Complicated in addition, that these fluffs can hardly be sucked off. With such a “brush nozzle”, with which I usually have quite a good success, you sit on it for hours. Even with such a sticky clothes brush it is hardly possible. The seat covers hold the fluffs and lint actually like a lint brush. I once tried to hold that on pictures. The seats are sucked off and processed with a footbrush! Does someone know such a thing? Or even better, does someone have a prescription against it? I actually think about whether there is something against dog hair or something similar that could help me cleaning the seats (we don ́t have any kind of anything like that).

  • Interior care instructions

Hi guys, I took my new car relatively dirty from the previous owner. I can get quite good at the dirt in the outdoor area thanks to the detailed FAQ, but there is still something stuck in the interior care. I have once enclosed a few photos of the biggest quirks and hope for a similar “guide” as you can get to the problems best. Since I found both in the forum and at google nothing helpful I turn here to the community. At my little ladle is pretty much everything to find, dirty foot mats, disgusting seats, gammlige entrances and door rubbers, smeared fittings, damage on the inside of the door, fuzzy center console, damaged chrome parts, bleached plastic parts… I hope for a similar good guide as in the FAQ, like with product recommendations. Now to my little waggle: Fiat Bravo 198 BJ: 2008 Given the condition of the interior I strongly expect that this car has hardly seen more than a vacuum cleaner.
