  • Total failure 500e (starter battery?): Who else is affected?

    In the summer of 2021 we bought a 500e, which unfortunately only drove 11 months error-free and in the meantime almost monthly gives up his mind. Concretely: the starter battery is each discharged, the car is thus mousetot. I described the incidents in this thread also more closely. Grob summarized: In June 2022 he let himself be revived still by bridges, the starter battery was probably sufficiently recharged after I had the car switched on 2h. At the end of July 22 same The problem, this time the bridging helped nothing, so transport to the workshop. After 2-3 weeks he came back with new starter battery, it was probably also the air conditioning system defective. At the beginning of September 22: same situation as already in June despite new starter battery: car is dead, but can still be started by bridging. The technician took it right on the platform into the workshop. I know by now from these three technicians that there are at least three If I scale this up, there would have to be a number of vehicles with the same problem in Germany. Now I would be interested: who is still affected by it and what reason was found for this apparently not singular k.o. or at least stated?

  • Wheel change / Summer bikes / Winter bikes / RDKS / TPMS

  • load with EnBW Mobility / load with ADAC charging card

    I would like to have an adac charging card. now I have landed at the mobility app, have logged in correctly and don’t know how to use it, I have never loaded at a charging column. how do I use it if I want to load? how do I, or my app is identified? my phone can’t get an NFC. and how do I get my adac card now, and if I have it, how do I use it? please assume that I have zero guess. so don’t assume anything. thank you

  • 500e – Central Navidisplay

    Hello all, we have a 500 E ICON since summer 22 – very nice car with which we are almost perfectly satisfied :-). Nervig I find that I can not have the map in the navigation system always switched in “Hell” mode. Whenever the automatic or I turn on the light, the map switches to a “Dark” mode. Then the background is black, the streets are shown dark grey and the label “Grey” –> all in all little contrast and s of course there are settings in the menu, e.g. display brightness “automatic” or “manual”, but the color change in light can not be influenced by it. Did I miss something? Can the dealer or someone with an ODB programming device change it or can it simply not at all? I am grateful for every tip 🙂

  • 500e: Allow error message to control charging system

    Hello together, after just under 13tkm our Luigi has said goodbye today with the above. No charging is possible anymore, neither via the type 2 charging cable nor with the emergency charging brick. The error message is also permanently displayed during the ride. I just informed the breakdown service via the Fiat hotline, after the local Fiat dealer wanted to give me an appointment only from the middle of next week(!). Tomorrow we towed the car. Has someone had this before? Is there a chance that this only Is there a sensor error or the like? Or is there a new battery control unit due? The car still has a guarantee, so hopefully I don’t have to worry about costs. But I can’t do without the car for days. Does Fiat provide a replacement vehicle in such cases? Greetings Tom

  • BAFA survey for applications from 12/2022 – your status and type of registration?

    Hi, some of them were able to submit their BAFA application for the FIAT 500 BEV in December (cars or at least papers were there) – just like me. As of today, I get my data with the BAFA status (Event number, postal code) but only the message that no progress was found.BAFA status inquiry With the BAFA I had identified myself via the user account BUND – thus, as announced, there was no extra document regarding the accuracy of the information the BAFA Of course, many requests were made in December, but that more than 14 days later not even the application as such can be found in the system surprises me now.   • Order and delivery date 2022 for the Fiat 500e

    hello together, I would like to know when you ordered your 500e in 2022, what was stated as a non-binding deliveryermin, and whether and how long this date has been exceeded or is expected, I’m going to start: I ordered an icon on 23.3., i.e. one day before the order stop (still at the old price). non-binding deliveryermin: 15. august. my dealer told me, however, on request, that it will probably only be in september. i hope that it will be this year, because one hears it munkeln, that there should be no more funding from 2023.

  • Recuperation – short and strong or long and gentle?

    I’ve been driving the 500e for 2 months now and I can handle the One-Pedal-Drive well. Meanwhile I also take the foot very late from the accelerator pedal, because I have grasped the strong braking effect of the recuperation. But what is more effective for the energy recovery? Late down the foot from the accelerator pedal, thus short and strong braking/recovery, or yet slowly lift the foot up, thus long and gently braking/recovering? What experiences/opinions do you have?   • FIAT app vs reality: charge value?

    At the beginning of December I parked our La Prima with the charge of 54% in front of the door. From the resort I asked with the app several times the battery charge and was surprised, it was always 54% displayed. Yesterday then came the (not unexpected) truth at the first restart: 36% ! Charge loss in almost 7 week winter thus 18%.
