  • KIA EV6 Moonscape Matt – Matt lacquer repair / painting – good Kia service with paint shop wanted

I got a KIA EV6 in Moonscape Matt after 15 months and had to take the car from the yard with various paint defects. Just incredible what I was handed over for a car! On the bonnet was wiped around or polished, now the paint shines over the headlight and just looks bad or in unfavourable light conditions like a bump. In addition, there are various paint defects on the fender of the passenger side and the door. At the door at the top of the frame is z The handle from the driver’s door was scratched. Simply incredible the condition… with a NEW WAGEN! The dealer is unfortunately 600km away and I am dependent on the car. I was assured that the defects will be corrected. But now the problems only start… I didn’t know that KIA has such a bad network of service partners. That’s GAR NO comparison to VAG at all, just pathetic. At Kia Dinnebier in Berlin I had 5 Filia The employee looked at the car, was appalled… now I get an e-mail that they don’t want to fix the car for me, because the paint is so special. Unbelievable! Anyone who owns a Moonscape mat Kia can already adjust to huge problems if you should be something with the paint. I’m looking desperately for a Kia service, which is based on the I don’t understand that I am rejected at all, the car has to be painted in case of an accident etc. The topic is therefore addressed to all Moonscape Matt EV6 drivers who have problems with the paint. I am looking for a Kia service with good paint shop in Berlin / Brandenburg, which prepares this car again and corrects the defects. If someone has a tip, please always bring it here!!! If other Moonscape Matt drivers face similar problems This paint is definitely not without, in combination with this bad Kia service network it can really cost you the last nerve.

  • Kia charge

Hello My dealer pushed a flyer about Kia charge into me yesterday. Costs in the first year without basic fee. After that 4,99 a month. Electricity AC 0,29 Euro Current DC 0,47 Euro. Is this interesting price?

  • Software upgrades

Moin, mine got the upgrade on Friday. Supposedly Kia communicates that it should take an hour… it took me almost four hours… I was curious how this now has an effect with the preconditioning… Frosty greetings from Hamburg

  • Kia XCeed PlugIn Hybrid Platinum has less range than Kia PlugIn Hybrid Ceed sw (Kombi) Spirit

Quick question in the round. We drive 2 PlugIn Ceeds. A Combi Spirit (30tkm) and an XCeed Platinum (2tkm). The combi indicates (and can do so almost) 60km range. Although the XCeed should have the same drive, this shows only 47km range (and does not manage anymore). The friendly Kia dealer said that this could be and would be known in some cases, We should drive 1-2000km. In the other cases the range would have increased then. Like the techno logically it would not really be clear to me – but it doesn’t matter, because the XCeed has now run over 2000km and nothing has changed. Still 47km max. Both vehicles are charged on a wallbox. It is interesting that the same amount of energy is charged in both cars when the battery is empty. It is about 8,5kWh. Does anyone know the phenomenon? What is the official range of the vehicles (differently with Kombi and SUV)?

  • Electric and fuel cell: Eco-Offensive at Hyundai

Seoul – Hyundai is planning an eco-offensive. By the end of the decade, there will therefore be a good dozen models with alternative drives from plug-in hybrids to pure electric vehicles to fuel cells. This was announced by the CEO of the company, Wonhee Lee, in Seoul. In addition to the Ioniq, which is already available with two hybrid configurations and e-drives, the small Kona off-road vehicle will play a key role, Lee continues. The Korean competitor of Opel Mokka or Renault Captur is scheduled to be sold as an electric vehicle next year, Lee announced. The range will then be around 400 kilometres. Hyundai also has concrete plans for the fuel cell. After the Koreans gained experience with an upgraded ix35, Toyota and Honda had recently passed by with series models. In 2018 the Koreans want to match the Japanese competition. Clarity will then also have a Hyundai series model developed specifically for the hydrogen drive around, Lee said. However, if the model should only exist in Korea at first, the Hyundai boss limited it. Source: dpa

  • Information from dealers on delivery times

Moin, the “waiting room” area I read with, so this post should not be a new edition, but a point – by the dealer mentioned delivery times – in the different stages (at the purchase, dealer sees production date in the system, real delivery date). I start with my order: Model: AWD, large battery Order: 2.02.2022 Last information without production date: 13.05.2022 Last information with production date: open Information Availability date: open Actual delivery date: open background of the round question is that now probably delivery times of 12 to 14 months after receipt order are called. But maybe the reality in DE looks better yes (hopefully) … VG

  • Kia Optima Plug-in Hybrid: Sale allegedly discontinued

The Optima SW PHEV has recently been sold out in Germany. Wanted to buy one yesterday. Friday he was still available at the importer and yesterday everyone was gone. Supposedly he will be replaced by a Ceed PHEV soon. However, it is too small for me! Too bad a really nice car!

  • Two questions about the Optima Plug-in Hybrid

1.) According to the data sheet, the PHEV has a Vmax of ~190km/h. In the Niro you could read again and again that the Vmax is only valid for the petrol engine alone and can be driven faster in the combined mode (higher than the speedometer deviation). In this case, you have already had your own experience or even with full battery only up to the gens. nnten ~190km/h? 2.) The German “specialist” press repeatedly wrote that the Optima only recuperates when the battery is empty to the extent that a normal hybrid mode is secured, but the battery cannot be fully charged. According to Audi Motor Sport, KIA has made a statement that this should be the case. Furthermore, one reads that this is nonsense. What is right now – according to its own experiences? Do you have to hang the Optima by force on the rib in order to get the memory again full(er) Is that what you’re talking about?

  • Hyundai Nexo – first leasing rate fixed

Hello, my friendly dealer was able to tell me the rate for 3 years at 20,000 km per year: net 1200 euros per month. Happy, no prospect of improvement. There are subsidies, however, which apply only from three vehicles, but then also not for leasing. If the vehicles are really to enter the market, then m.E. rates of 800 euros per month would be realistic. For 800 euros there is a top Q7 with Euro 6d-temp (which I do not want, because burners)…

  • Optima Hybrid reviews

I come from the Mercedes area: And ask for an acquaintance about the Kia Optima Kombi. Since when are there the hybrids? How stable are the morors? The serviceintervals should not be very long, why is that so. Which is the better engine ( PS )? How switches the automatic, experience value? What is the consumption? Are there already used and what are the prices? In northern Hesse the acquaintance has not seen yet. Who can what reports?
