Hello, among other things, because I needed a vehicle for ultra short-range operation, which is known to be extremely harmful to the fuel company itself, the wallet and the environment, I bought a BEV. The maximum range is approx. 250 km, so that I can charge 240 V 10 A ICCB over night more than enough. Therefore, I do not have a contract with a charging station power provider. The task is to pick up someone from the approximately 140 km away airport Frankfurt. Will about 20 kWh of electricity for approx. 100 km would be necessary in order to be able to start the return journey with the necessary serenity. On the web I read about an e.g. Chargemap charging card, which allows access to several electricity providers against a one-time payment of approx. 20 Euro / without subscription. Or are there also providers who accept credit card payment at the charging station? How would you address the topic?

Charging ban Hybrid on public pillars
Often plug-in hybrids occupy important charging parking spaces for e-cars. Audi boss Markus Duesmann doesn’t fit that way at all.– (2.11.21 Münchner Merkur) Hello hybrid driver, with unbelieving headshaking I have read the press release about the comment of Audi boss Duesmann. The responsible boss of a company sells the hybrid vehicles and with which I bought Dummbatz an A6 hybrid demands a serious ban for plug-in hybrids at public charging stations. Mr. Du esmann, it would also be possible to find a solution without a ban: How about the following press release: The Audi Chef offers all buyers of hybrid vehicles the return of the purchase and stops the production and sale of hybrid vehicles with immediate effect. – With this measure, Audi wants to make its contribution to creating more free charging spaces for pure E cars. Audi Chef Markus Duesmann: We at Audi have learned to assume responsibility from the diesel affair. a quote from the Lord of the Rings is recommended here to all drivers of the 4 Rings. -Flieht, you fools!–Thank you Audi Chef

Lantern store: Hamburg hesitates
For the time being, there is no lantern store for electric cars, as has already been tested in Berlin by Ebee or Ubitricity. The Hanseatic City’s economic authority rejects a model experiment and wants to wait for results from the capital, reports the Abendblatt. Some districts, such as Eimsbüttel, would have liked to try out the innovative technology themselves with little effort and costs. But the authority of traffic senator Frank Horch believes that: that only a small part of the 13,500 Eimsbüttel lanterns would be suitable for retrofitting to the charging point. If at all, they would only be considered as an addition to the planned charging infrastructure. The Senate, the evening paper quotes the authority, continues to pursue the conventional power stations provided in its master plan, which also enable fast charges. One of the biggest criticisms of the lantern loaders was that they are not suitable for this. d Schinnenburg, FDP spokesperson for transport policy, according to the paper, for an excuse: “The rule is that you do not charge your car quickly, but rather park it overnight or in the day to refuel.”He considers the rejection to be a failure: “It is disappointing that the Senate leaves the obvious and favorable possibility to expand the power stations. “The conversion of a lantern would cost only nearly 300 euros each. A conventional charging point strikes – depending on the Sy stem – with 2000 to 15,000 euros.Source

Underground parking with many parking spaces. How high does the connection power have to be?
Again and again the question arises, how high the connection power in underground garages must be. A test took place now with amazing result. 58 electric cars in a garage. “The charging requirement in a fully electrified underground garage can be covered with a fraction of the maximum available charging power of the electric cars. … At the 58 charging points in the 16 months a maximum of 13 charging processes took place simultaneously.” “The maximum available power of 124 kW in the so-called E-Mo bility-Carré has not been fully retrieved once … The so-called simultaneity factor was therefore 0.22. This is calculated from the ratio of the simultaneous charging processes and the number of charging points”. This is much less than one would think so commonly. Loading with EC card
Hello, I drive a plug-in and usually load at home. I often loaded in a supermarket. Free. Now they want money. There are 3 options available for this. With app with charging card with credt card Apart from the fact that I have never used the chip on the EC card, I don’t even know where to load it. I looked at the vending machine today and found none of it in the menu. I seem to be too stupid for it. The QR code reader of the app also doesn’t respond to the QR C odes. Displays unreadable. Now the option with credit card. If I scan the codes, I will see the page where I have to enter my data and agree to everything. Then 50 euros will be deducted. So far I know that. When I did this before it turned out that the charging station was broken and did not supply electricity. Now I didn’t want to go any further because I read the code from the photo. What’s next? Do I need my IBAN or what? Where I experience the failure h atte did this via Paypal. Luckily I drive a plug-in and am not dependent on the circus but there I would like to load because it is worth it time for me. Thanks to the loading professionals

Charging station and thunderstorms
When I stay at the charging station again, I regularly notice something small print. In the case of thunderstorms, it should not be charged! Why is this so? What is the risk? Do I have to wait until the end of the thunderstorm until I can load? When is a thunderstorm so close that I should take the hint into account??? Are there any recommendations regarding these and possibly other questions in this context?

Company car at work shop
Hey guys, right in front: If the topic doesn’t fit into this forum, just delete it! Well, I don’t know much about the following topic, and since there are a lot of company car drivers on the road, I thought you could help me. My old man drives 60km to work every day (i.e. 120km daily). At the current diesel prices he asked his boss (medium-sized company) for a company car with private use. The boss got an offer, it’s probably an MG (? ??) a Chinese electric car. Including insurance, the leasing rate for my father would be 170€. The boss also offered that my father can always charge the car at the company, the company pays the electricity (Wallbox is already there). Now he is uncertain if he would have a tax/economic advantage and have to pay something at the end of the year (taxes?). My father would also be the first in the company to lease a company car, therefore kan I hope you can bring some light into the dark.

Problems with Shell New Motion Card – how do you manage in practice?
Hello, I have a Shell New Motion charging card for my hybrid (combined with a Shell tank card). Unfortunately I have too often futile charging attempts, which leads to frustration, time loss and reparking. I get around a lot and often have to drive on unknown columns (in the New Motion network according to app). Zb the map does not work at all at the Stadtwerken München (3 of 3 attempts at different columns failed, reported to New Motion… no feedback yet) Here the column rules Also with other column types the column does not react. If I am on the road with a certain lack of time, I have to consider if I want to enter the adventure electric charging. Especially because the mood is always hazy, if it does not work again, then I prefer to drive completely with diesel and the advantages of the hybrid (quiet and relaxed in the city) with inefficient self-loading. What do you have for loading experiences?

Charging cable length
Hi people, how long are the charging cables on average? My question is aimed at charging in the public area, where you may have the problem that the charging stations are parked by burners. Is it possible to put yourself in front of a wrong parking loter with the normal cable and still get to the charging station?

Store/Parking in Copenhagen and Stockholm
Hello, we will each go a few days to Copenhagen and Stockholm on holiday, now I have a few questions especially in Copenhagen: 1. Parking is very expensive especially in Copenhagen, there are many AC charging stations in the city. Is parking free during the charging or are additional parking fees added? I am not interested in the blocking fee, which I recognize in the charging app. 2. Can you stand the vehicle at the charging stations overnight – with/without Parking fees? I would be very interested in reports from actual Copenhagen and/or Stockholm travelers. I have the BMW charging app with the Ionity option and think that I can pay for many load columns at reasonable prices. Thank you very much! For the route I would primarily drive Ionity, if available, that should probably work well – have the capacity utilization of the relevant charging parks already something in the observation, looks quite good.
