  • Baotian QT-50 – Power failure at E-Start

Servus together… I’ve been having the problem since anew that I notice a complete power failure when I press the E-starter button. Interesting: When I start the scooter by kickstart, everything runs normal. When I turn off the scooter by key and turn on the ignition again, there is also electricity. As soon as I press the EStarter, however, the current is immediately gone. It just clicks quietly and that’s it. Now it doesn’t bring anything to use the key. No power. What happens, however, if the scooter is running and I then feel the Estarter, I have not tried yet, would be nonsense!? One an idea? Greetings and thanks for every idea!

Wheel also well braked Bumped Then carefully the brake pulled when driving, this let itself now pull further and hardly brake effect better than Voher (coverings glazed) but still leaves me to wish for now now since you should go how far ic h position them still tighter? or can it have another cause The gag that triggers the brake goes quite smoothly. and also back in 0 position

  • Sport.- or normal Variomatics

yesterday I changed the drive belt and found that a glider (pos. 33) was defective and therefore the cam disc was incorporated into the drive disc. the weights are also down. when I just looked for a new vario fell on parts 36, 37 and 38 were not at all present!? it can be that I only need the just in this vario, that it varies a little from manufacturer to manufacturer?http://www.si-zweirad.de/…/index.php?… since a sp ortvario just 10eur more expensive than the original one is I thought to buy such a one. does the performance tech (below by me preferred for hilly against) really bring what or can one forget the underscore? it should be this:http://cgi.ebay.de/…egoryZ82225QQrdZ1QsssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem or this:http://cgi.ebay.de/…yZ65343QQrdZ1QsssPageNameZWD1VQcmdZViewItem?… or this:http://cgi.ebay.de/…egoryZ65343QsssPageNameZWDVQQrdZ1QcmdZViewItem

  • Gilera Nexus 500 (& Multivar) Vibrations + Questions

Dear Maxiscooter friends, for two weeks I have been calling a chic Gilera Nexus 500ccm my own and am so satisfied. In order to adjust the starting weakness and the annoying vibrations in the lower speed band, I immediately ordered and installed a Multivar 2000 (version with 8 wheels). I ordered the belt half disc separately from Piaggio (since the original has only 3 guides for the sliding shoes and the Multivar needs the disc with 4 guides). In addition, I used the original Piaggio slip-on shoes (although the Malossi instructions said that you should use the original Piaggio slip-on shoes — I don’t get smart?). By default, my Nexus (1st model) still had the original variant of Piaggio with 6 wheels. This was then exchanged for the 8 multivar. With the result I’m satisfied so far: Strammer pass and clearly “softer” driving is now possible. A difference like day + night However, I have now from 90-1 00km/h clear vibrations in the footroom, which can really annoy on longer motorway rides. Sure, the Multivar turns significantly higher than the original vario – and with a single cylinder with such a power of course vibrations are normal. However, it can’t be that I hardly feel my feet when descending after 1h highway ride. Have already been through the forum and the topics regarding Nexus 500 + Vario/Multivar but on this special topic nothing statement-wrapped If someone with the 500 Master-Motor (if necessary also with Multivar) has found a tip/ advice for me on how to tackle the problem? Can it be due to the sliding shoes of Malossi? By the way, I have also installed the enclosed GDF. I am happy about every advice!

  • Winter tyres

Hello, I am looking for the optimal winter tyres. So not all year round tyres, but which are optimal in cold, wet and snow. The size is 120/70-12 and 130/70-12. So far I have come across these two tyres due to research on the internet and recommendation of dealers: 1. Kenda K701 Winter 2. Heidenau K66 LT M+S To the Heidenau K66 LT M+S I received the following information from the manufacturer compared to the Heidenau K58mod M+S: The tread mixture (Snowtex) is the same, abe r the K66 LT M+S also has lamella technology, so it is better suited for snow-covered roads. From the profile picture the Kenda K701 winter also seems to be equipped with lamella technology, whereby at the Heidenau K66 LT M+S the profile is crossed with more grooves. Unfortunately, I have the impression with some dealers that they simply want to get rid of the tires that they have in stock… So a quite expensive dealer recommended to me the Heidenau K58mod M+S, although I had communicated, next questions: What is a realistic price for a tyre change? Does it make sense to buy a set of rims for the winter tyres? Thanks for helpful answers! Greetings Tanja

  • Roller squeaks very loudly

Hello together, I have a problem with my scooter – Piaggio Vespa ET2 50ccm From a certain speed it starts to squeak quite loudly (see audio) and once it has started, then it doesn’t stop until the engine is off. I also have no idea where the squeak comes from, because it is very loud. Have a new V-belt pure but it doesn’t seem to be that. I thought at first that it somehow slips through or resembles. Audio: https:/ /drive.google.com/…/view?usp=drivesdk If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful!

  • Variety rollers in the Peugeot Speedfight 3 LC (unset / A1)

Hello, I’ve been with my Peugeot Speedfight 3 LC for a little longer now. According to the vehicle license, this has 4.1kW and a top speed of approx. 70-75 km/h is therefore completely reduced. It is not tuned. However, I would like to change the belt and the Variomatic rollers. Now the question is which weight is most optimal. The scooter has its maximum power at approx. 7,300 rpm. Unfortunately, I don’t know what is currently installed for rollers, which is why I can’t take a reference. Now to the actual question, someone might know which Variomatik weight is best. I have to say that I have to overcome height differences of up to 400m. Lg

  • Purchase advice Yamaha Neos BJ. 1999

Servus, first post, directly stupid question. I’m currently looking for a scooter. I came across the Yamaha Neos due to the durability that has been praised several times. Unfortunately, in my area there is only one offer:Yamaha Neos 50 According to the owner new battery, brake fluid new, air filter and spark plug new, carburetor cleaned, tires still good. One reads about the engines only good and the mileage is of course not much with 7000km. e: Are 680€ not too much for a vehicle over 20 years old or is the model just so good that it justifies the prices? Comparable prices can be found at least in other parts of Germany too. So I did not find much cheaper, except with a long list of defects. Thank you in advance.

  • Installation China-Completepremise front

Holla dear scooter community, the Motowell scooter from my big child has a defective brake pump after 3 years and 2500km. Motowell kindly supplies a completely pre-filled “system” as a spare part – so everything from the lever up to the brake plier down, incl. hose. Beautiful…. Now I am laying the new brake system and first attached the system to the top of the handlebar. But below there is a problem – between the brake pads clamps from factory a piece of plastic in the brake I can’t get that out. With the screw force I pushed the brake piston 1mm straight in – but there’s so much pressure on it – as soon as the kennel is off, the plastic distance holder clamps again just as tight. How do you best go there to get the piston back? I think, rather not take pressure from the bottom of the saddle with the vent screw – then probably rather up? I left the lid of the BF container on it all the time… Seems right. To be brim full, the container – not to see an air bubble… Have you ever installed such a thing? And if so – how? Greetings and thanks Tina

  • Gilera DNA 50

Hello guys, I have a gilera Dna 50 all original except the weights and exhaust. I bought and installed the Stage6 per replica, along with 4g weights in the vario. The scooter runs so far quite well, pulls well and a very good speed is also there. Now I have the problem, when I drive it pulls through to 60 km/h and then falls off at speed and speed, that doesn’t always make the first few days was at 95 km/h according to tacho. I wanted now still change the HD and maybe the air filter. Can it be that the too little air gets?
