Hi guys, my father wants to give me his REX RS 450 and has been on the road with her until recently. I have to say that I have not seen the REX yet and I would like to make myself smart in advance. The problem that he described to me is this: He leaves the REX after driving – but the next day he has to order properly so that the REX starts at all. If she then runs, she runs completely calmly, has normal stationary gas and also the passage while driving is inconspicuous – runs quite normal and does not go out either. Only when there is again a bit of a crazy engine (so should be from about 1h and more my father told me), there is again this occasion problem. Now I have had a lawnmower engine (4-stroker) completely disassembled and assembled into his individual parts and it still runs today without problems, but know me with “moped engines” actually not at all. I would guess that the V I would check the candle for sparks after this service life – maybe what gets wet after an hour and disturbs the sparks. I would also look at the candle exactly if it is brown and the distance for the spark is not too small or too large. I would also do ignition cable check. Air filter, fuel filter, carburetor I would not suspect, because it starts at some point and then runs quite normal. Ha Do you know what else it might be? Could it be this “joke” I’ve read here several times? I guess it’s used to make the fuel mixture fatter in the cold state, isn’t it? I thank you for your help.

Rex Rs450 no longer starts
Hello. I got a used Rex Rs450 (about 6000km). However, the scooter doesn’t start. I already measured battery voltage – is it possible that the scooter does not jump over the kick starter or over the e-starter. Can someone help me where I could look for the next error? Edit: the previous owner has driven with it, has stopped it afterwards & not started all the time, after that he did not jump on. Maybe that helps ^ ^ The CDI has also been renewed

Speedfight after rolling let only hardly acceleration = Vario ?
Hello dear scooter drivers, we have in the family our Peugeot Speedfight 2 LC Bj. 2002 (which I used to drive too), the scooter is largely in the original condition. The scooter has now run about 23000 km and drives as far as really neat. It is also normal to 50 throttled. Acceleration is great and so it is also a very reliable vehicle. The only small problem that appears at the moment is when you let the scooter roll (so to make the gas) and langsa m becomes (e.g. if you drive through a gyro) and then gives back gas (so between 25-30 km/h, without the coupling uncoupled) the variomatics keeps the speed so low that it is hardly possible to accelerate. You give gas on a straight track and it takes about 2-3 seconds until the speed goes up and then the scooter accelerates back to normal. This is always annoying if you want a steep mountain here in the opposite direction and in front of a car slowly becomes e.g. if one starts from then there is no more strength and you have to stop for a short time and start from the stand so that you can speed up again. Maybe someone can tell me if this is a typical sign of wear and tear of the Vario or if I simply have to make other weights pure? I have the presumption that it is due to a wrong tuning of the variator.. If so: Do I have to become heavier or lighter with the weights? I will be the Vario at the end of the week We have changed the rollers some time ago because the scooter had been throttled to 25 km/h but after that we made the normal ones again. They had not yet entered at that time. I know that there should be 9 grams of weights in there, but I am not sure which ones are now in there. I mean something between 8 and 9 gram. The belt was auc h already changed (but it’s already a good 10,000 km ago) yes and the converter got a new spring once. The rest is a series. I mean that the scooter a few years ago when I was driving it “turned” faster so that you could speed up better. As the title should already tell, I’m looking for a scooter.. “Yes, nice, many do,” I think now probably.. So now to me and my priorities.. I’m 15 years old, I’m currently doing the 25cc driving license and looking for a mofa to a certain budget. I’m unfortunately a bloody suspect and don’t know much about the matter (is still coming).. I’m looking for a scooter that is 1. suitable for big people like me (1.87m).. sat already with a buddy on the Aer Ox and that’s not possible at all! Another friend owns a sax or so similar in any case the model RX1. It’s definitely clear on that. 2. a good acceleration has since I live in Osterode a.H and there are some places here where I will come to stop.. 3. also open (No, not now.. but later as it will be for me (with class B) legal) has a good performance and also someone can ride on it at the back. 4. to buy in a radius of 200km I live in Osterode am Harz 37520, Lower Saxony and hope that you might help me to choose a scooter because I am, as I said, a bloody beginner. 5. I didn’t run 15k or more because I still want to have some more years of the scooter.. REX 125ccm; Open CDI 125 .. ? More power ?
All the one Rex 125 ( RS 1000 ) driving, and he thought he could drive 100, to be told; Is ́not ! Max. speed 79 KM/H Who really thinks to buy a new CDI on the Internet( I was once so stupid!) does not do himself a favor, because, some do not work at all !! Oil from the exhaust, where does that come from?
Servus together, before 200km I have mounted a new cylinder, scooter drives 1A (Aprilia Sr 50 WWW with carburettor). But: Although the carburettor setting should be correct and the candle is brownish, it smokes out of the exhaust and it also comes out oil. The question: Where does this come from? When I assemble in the cylinder room I did a good sip of oil to prevent a clamp. Can that be that after 200km still is not outside?? t set, right? The oil that comes out of the back is relatively clean (i.e. still honey-colored). Since the scooter otherwise drives well, you can exclude the carburetor, right? Thank you

S6 Pro Replica Mounted, now the scooter only drives 30, HELP!
Hello! I recently bought the sports exhaust from Stage6. (restricted) I also mounted it immediately. Only now I have the problem that the scooter no longer turns up (max to half) and thus it hardly or not at all comes from the spot. Max speed 30 kmh. Speed remains the same… I have the following Verbaut: 17.5er Dellorto, 4G Vario weights, Harder GDF and hard clutch springs. (each Varioweights tuning set 3.5-5G and clutch spring set (1000, 1500 and 2000) HD on the carburetor is standard 80 , got 90ger in it now What do I have to do? Please urgently for HELP!
