Hello, I’m a bit perplexed here by now, I have a scooter that doesn’t start any more. So I cleaned the carburettor, so it jumped on, but much too fat. I bought and installed a new carburettor, but it didn’t jump on again. I checked the ignition spark, no one is present. Cdi renews, nevertheless no ignition spark, no voltage on the ignition coil. I checked the side stand, there is no switch. In the meantime the battery was empty several times, mus s to be full that the scooter starts?

China Cracker Thoughts at the Price
There is hardly anything in this world that could not make anyone a little worse and sell something cheaper, and the people who are only based on the price will be the just prey of such machinations. It’s unwise to pay too much, but it’s even worse to pay too little. If you pay too much, you lose some money, that’s all. If you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, since the purchased item The law of the economy prohibits you from getting a lot of value for little money. If you accept the lowest offer, you have to count for the risk you take. And if you do, you have enough money to pay for something better. John Ruskin engl. Social Reformer (1819-1900)

USB built-in socket waterproof/waterproof or 12 volt can?
Hello I would like to operate a Navi on my scooter Gilera Runner FXR for the holiday. I have already bought the Tomtom one for sale. after I have thought up a hold, the question arises for me about a suitable power supply. USB socket or 12 volt can? How high should the charging current be? 2 Ah? Or 1 Ah? With a USB socket the clunky 12 volt plug is omitted, which I feel pleasant. Can one connect such a can easily to the battery? a separate fuse? If so, how strong should it be? Then, of course, I need a smart place where I could mount the can. The navigator is mounted on the left mirror mounting screw. Short ways to the can would be advantageous for otic reasons. Suggestions? Inspirations? Ideas? Greeting Michael

New “intelligent” charger “cooks” battery at 15.8v charge voltage
Good evening to the forum, since my old charger gave up the spirit and indicated “full” for two uncharged batteries, I ordered a new one. More precisely the microprocessor charger DP 4000 from Cartrend. According to the instructions it should calculate the optimal voltage and charge current for each battery and not charge at all if the mode is wrong (12v/6v/under zero degrees outside temperature/etc.). Now I want to charge a 12v 2.3ah agm battery and connect it. e voltage from 11.5v, which corresponds to my multimeter. In selected mode the device should charge with 14.3v. At the beginning it also started to pulsate with 14.3v and I was satisfied. When I looked again after 5minutes, the display showed 15.8v however and I heard bubbling from the battery. Of course, I immediately switched off and was glad that no acid had run out. Now my questions: 1. What could be the reason for the increased charging voltage? Is my device broken? Are agm batteries special? (according to the instruction also for agm and allegedly no charging with wrong mode) 2. Is the battery once “boiled” broken? Thanks for all the answers

I accidentally filled petrol in oil tank
Hello, I accidentally put petrol into the oil tank and then drove on with it. I wondered why I could only fill up so little, but didn’t think anything about it. After about 4-5 days the scooter went off on the way home, during the ride, and didn’t start any more. I then put the scooter away and filled the scooter the next day, but this time correctly and not in the oil tank. I tried to kick the scooter after refueling, but the scooter jumped I have a Peugeot scooter that is 24 years old. The battery is also not the latest. I wanted to ask you now if you could help me further.

Vespa 125er 250er – petrol consumption
Hello Together, since I am thinking of buying a Vespa as an alternative to a car, I just wanted to get the opinion of others. Since I want to travel a slightly mountainous distance of about 45 km daily, I thought of a 125 or even the 250s. Does anyone have experiences ? How much use the scooters ??? – I found nowhere information about this !!!! Is there a cost calculation for these scooters (similar to the car) per km ? Sorry if I ask too general / diffuse – but you know yes, ask costs nothing. thank you very much !!

Scooter doesn’t like warm
Good morning everyone, I need your help. I don’t have China 4 clocks (I know)… the following problem, is the little cold, it starts with some gas actually immediately. But if it is warm then, it sometimes doesn’t start with or without gas anymore. I’ve driven 2 times this year so far. The first time it was that it started warm sometimes directly and sometimes I had to org for quite a long time until it sprang up. Today was then s second time, there it is me while stopping on a crossroad just went out and until the battery was empty also did not jump again. I drive out with the scooter newspapers, so I got a lot on and off with quite jleinen tracks in between. I had removed the cold start automatic yesterday and checked: When it gets warm, the piston goes out and resistance has had it 26 ohms. I also looked at the spark plug, which looks good. Do you have an idea what I could do? My husband kills me if he kills me again at 5 U You have to pick up somewhere in the Pampas in the morning Somehow I suspect that he gets too little fuel, what do you think? Or is the battery too weak for the on/off game? Thanks already Jasmin

Yamaha X-Max 250 (2007) – what replacement coupling?
Hello, I have recently been driving a used X-Max 250 with 39,000km of mileage. Purchased for small money and very well maintained. After renewing all the gear bearings, I now want to go to the plucking clutch. I have read that the clutch in the years 06-08 has probably more common problems with “knocking”. With me it is so that I have in cold condition considerable clutch tap. The clutch made itself – when I had dismantled it because of the gear bearings – e in normal condition. Maybe the bell also ran in a bit. Be it that way, I want to renew the bell and clutch and need a shopping tip. Does anyone have a recommendation for a clutch from the accessories? There are various suppliers, of which I have no idea. Come from the motorcycle sector and ride the scooter as an everyday companion for the way to work (14 km a distance). Thank you and greetings, Thomas

Cold start problem
Hello everyone, I bought my old Rex Scooter 50 a new carburetor. The “original” was a Mikuni 12mm. Now a Dellorto replica 14mm. I was able to tune the carburetor quite well and once it is on it runs great. My problem: when he has stood up for a day, I have to start it for ever. It starts immediately, but also goes out immediately. Every time he tries to restart, he stays on for a few seconds until he stays on after a felt 100 kicks. I also turn it off for hours and it starts again immediately. My guess: it gets too fat mixture at the beginning and when ticking, the E-Choke needle continues to close until it closes and the scooter stays on. I don’t know if that’s right and what I can do about it? Put needle a little deeper? For a hot tip I would be very grateful.
