  • CPI Hussar does not start

I have a problem. A buddy of mine brought me the scooter of his daughter. According to their statement, the part just went out during the ride and doesn’t start now. I’ve already changed the spark plug, is now a new one. Ignition spark is there. Carburettor dismantled and the nozzles looked, are both free. When I hold my hand behind the carburettor, I noticed that it sucks in. When I hold my hand behind the exhaust, I also notice that it leaves out. What seems strange to me, however, is this: There is quite a lot of fluid in the crankcase, which is thrown out of the opening for the membrane block during the star test (electrically). Is this normal or does it not have to be relatively dry with the two-stroker? I don’t know so much about two-strokers, rather screw around cars. What else could I check? Greeting m_driver

  • Sofa scooter unsuitable for driving in residential areas ?

Hello, can one with these sofa scooters, which look like “full-eat wild boars”, these long-wood transporters with the two tiny little wheels, in residential areas not neatly, correctly drive around the corner ???? Must one cut each, even an unobtrusive road estuary as a left-hand bender so that an incoming scooter driver remains only the full braking ?? Thus happened yesterday: If my “Gazelle” had not stopped immediately and on the spot, this “full-eat wild boar” would have driven me fully into the flank although I was not even in the crossing area !!! Even a cyclist as a right-hand turner would not have come through between “wild boar” and embankment, so far was the one to bend on the opposite road !!! Quick direction change and evasive maneuvers (laughter) are probably not possible with these heavy, “full-eat boars” !! ??? or ??? …and just for that one should with such a heavy K without cutting any curves !!! already no confusing !!! Later I heard him again “(neighbor, next cross road, few houses further on), apparently he was at the “engine tunen”, since he has turned up the engine several times in idle …..(tubed through the whole residential area) !!! crunchy !!!

Good morning.Hab a problem. My scooter has been driving without any problems. But since yesterday nothing works anymore. Yesterday he drove home from work about 15 km.Then he jumped straight on as usual.Did a short stop and when I wanted to go home nothing left.About kicker or electric starter he is no longer able to start. The fuse is complete and a new candle I also put in earlier. On mass it sparks. But the scooter still can’t start.Until now was always so ne That sounds like something’s going on if you understand.I don’t know what’s going on.Now that I’m packed with services or work, that’s what happens to me.Can’t go there all the time with the taxi.Who can help me here, please?

  • Explorer Race GT50 does not start anymore

Hey people, I’ve been getting my father’s scooter back in shape for 2 days. The scooter just went off at the traffic lights, without signs or anything else. It just went out as if you were turning the ignition key back. Since then, he doesn’t want to start to die. What we’ve already done or checked. Sparkling candle renewed (Zündfunke is there) Carburettor cleaned (Sprite also arrives) Air filter checked ASS membrane checked cylinder and piston I also renewed, the old was still ok but since we had ordered one some time ago anyway and since the scooter was now almost completely taken apart it can not be a disadvantage if it is renewed directly. in the Variobox everything is ok. No matter whether kicking or with the E-starter, he simply does not want to tackle. Starter turns everything on, there are also no abnormal sounds to hear. The scooter has now 6500km down and is in the original condition. I am now not the total noob and So far our problems have always gotten into the grip themselves. What can I check everything? Can it also be due to the CDI? I would be grateful if you could help me. of course I have googled already, it helped me unfortunately not

  • Scooter recommendation for long Lulatsch!

Hello, I want to get an older 50s scooter for small money and need some recommendations which scooters are rigged for big drivers.. I am 1.96 and therefore I am looking for something on which.I can sit well. I only want to spend +/- €500, i.e. the thing will be older. From Peugeot there was for example the Elyso, which was quite big. Piaggio Sfera also liked me well. Maybe someone has a few recommendations here. In the shop you can not try out the old things anymore. Thank you very much.

  • Kymco Yager runs gasoline into the air filter

Hello, maybe someone still has a flammable idea here. It is about a Kymco Yager 50, 2Tacter. Built in 2003 and only 12000Km. Until the parking he always ran. After 3 years of service he should be made fit again. Of course only sprung up briefly with the addition of Starhilfespray. I cleaned the carburettor and again in, air filter the same. New battery and starter made the same. Then he jumped on briefly and then nothing more….just under r direct addition of gasoline to the combustion chamber. Air filter housing again from time to time with the hand on the carburetor air intake nozzle a bit held and it went on and it stayed too. However, only as long as I controlled the air intake by hand. Air filter housing again up and nothing. Only when the intake hose a little stops it runs. Have now made a flap for air reduction and so it goes well also in the stand gas and gas can be given. But…. after a while tro pf petrol from the air filter housing. Maybe someone knows advice… Greeting Ralf

  • 50 ccm-Roller – Chopped or unstirred on the way?

In addition to the question about your driving style**, I would be interested in this thread, whether you have been throttled with your 50 ccm scooter or not. And if you have not been throttled: Have you already been stopped/crazed and punished? Attention: This should not be a thread with instructions for throttling according to the forum rules, but simply a small survey, as the normal scooter driver is on the road! My impression is that despite the sensitive penalties many “ged” Reht”… Greetings Michael **I didn’t want to mix both, so a new thread.

  • 4 bar oil instead of 2 bar oil

Hello guys, I have a real problem.I bought me a new (used) scooter.I also started it and it ran.I had to install a new brake train. After building it together, it didn’t start any more.I noticed that the predecessor used 4 clock oil instead of 2 clock oil.I had it run out of the oil tank and filled the new right oil after it was done.Ne.Jetz squirts like hell, can give full gas and nothing happens he doesn’t come out of quark. What could that be and what would be? How can I fix that???Don’t know any more.Really desperate. Mfg Ghost Rider II

  • Piaggio MP3 400ie LT : Tax increased from 8 euros to 84 euros !?

Servus ! Since June 2009 my father owns a Piaggio MP3 400ie LT, i.e. with car registration. According to the previous formula of 2€ / 100ccm the vehicle was tax-friendly very cheap! But now came a letter from the tax office which has the calculation basis on 21,07€/100cc more than tenfold !?!?!? Our vehicle was admitted according to the papers by the way on 02.07.2010. So exactly one day after the reference date 01.07.2010 ! Thus the tax rate should be considered as a car indisputably, Or ? Did other MP3 LT drivers get the same cover letter ? Are there ways to avoid the increase ? Thank you already ! Addendum : Have me by now made a little more clever and came across information in separate MP3 forums . Now I just wonder why the vehicle was taxed after the first registration according to NEW law – but a year later then suddenly after the old ? Did contradiction already bring something to someone ?

  • Reasons (safety philosophy) for limiting to 45 km/h?

I didn’t really find anything on the subject, so I’m simply asking: what reasons have actually led to the Europe-wide limitation of the 50 ccm class to 45 km/h? Why exactly this value? Are there any concrete studies or justifications that have been and will be cited for this limitation? I’m seriously interested in the underlying safety philosophy. All the world is excited about this limitation, but I don’t necessarily want to create a thread in which I just want to know what philosophy is behind this concrete value. Greeting Michael
