Servus (me again), I was on the road with the scooter for about 30 minutes. Once I got home, I thought I would turn off the engine immediately and look at the candle picture when it has cooled down a little. I did that and that’s how the spark plug looks like. (See photo) Then I screwed it back in again. This morning the scooter didn’t want to go to work. Angry, but good then just with my wife’s scooter. Now just try to turn it on. I made the candle out, it didn’t show a spark in the front at first glance. When I looked more closely, I see a spark overlay in the inside of the candle. (if you look in front) The candle is a quite fresh NGK B9ES for my Piaggio scooter NRG DT POWER. I drove about 150 km. Well thought what to do, there is still a new replacement candle. Previously tested, against mass and ignition spark is present at the top. This new candle inserted. Roll. It’s wet and smells like fuel. However, the wet is a bit of anthracite color? The spark is no longer in front of the new candle, but in the candle. Now I’m a bit perplexed? Setting carburettor, standing gas was made at the workshop 2 weeks ago. Since then it has been running well, except for the gas acceptance problems already mentioned in another thread when I drive over a pothole or a bumpy road. What could it be? che Kerze? CDI? (but changed) Ignition cable? (but changed) Air filter? (but changed) Carburettor is new and running. The scooter has been in the workshop 4 times for 2 years, because it has been drunk or turned up again and then is drunk and can not be started after that. So I am constantly pushing home at the scooter, about 600 euros poorer, but the scooter still has a problem.

Battery not charging [Kallio 50]
Hello, a topic that has certainly been created many times. But I couldn’t really help reading it yet. It’s a Kallio 50 with about 13,000km. Problem: The battery is no longer charged. I always build it up after driving and then charge it with a charger itself. If it’s too strong when driving, then I notice this by the fact that the scooter is stuttering or is running out shortly before. Perhaps as a preliminary remark: I had Pr obleme with my oil pump. But this is now repaired. During the repair I saw that the alternator was completely soaked with oil. I measured the voltage with connected battery and running motor: Voltage at idle: 12,1V. This does not change when turning up and full gas at all. When blinking, the voltage collapses to 10V. Voltage of the battery (not connected): 12,2V. Light works without problems. The scooter jumps even without Pro bleme an. Can I assume that the alternator has a defect in the area that is responsible for the charge?! Can I just check that? Thank you for your answers.

Help with scooter choice: Used from 125ccm
Hello dear MotorTalk community, I would like to introduce myself just before I ask my question. I am the Flo, come from Passau and am a young 39 years young. I already read with a time and have now signed up here with me. I liked the wide list of this forum very much and also the members all seem very nice. Now to my question. Since my wife is pregnant, I would like to leave her the car home now and for the work path, shopping and occasional Über In my research I have come to the conclusion that a 125 is sufficient and the upper limit is about 300cc. Since I have workshops of the brands, BMW, Honda, Peugeot, Kymco and Piaggio in the near surroundings, I have also reduced myself to these brands in the search. BMW flies out due to the prices already. I have up to 1600 euros left for a scooter and Peugeot must have slowed down qualitatively, whereby the Satelis comes as pure from the space already there, as I imagine. With Honda is possibly a good used S-Wing still in the budget. Here one reads a lot of good, but the 4000 km service intervals scare me off somewhat. Is that still timely? For that probably already has a combination ABS. At Kymco one probably has price-performance technically The K-XCT seems to fall into the frame of the used ones in price. I am not exceptionally big with my 1.83m and should have little problems in terms of space. Since we don’t live in the lowlands, the scooter should have at least enough punch. I don’t have to be the fastest, but the scooter should at least not starve on steep mountains. Since I haven’t driven any scooters since my old PX125, I also have relatively little idea from what f I have to pay attention to the purchase. Maybe you can help me here, say something about my selection, or have still models on the screen. I have tried to read through the forum. Here there is a thread that has been closed but and otherwise some that are at least two years old. If I have forgotten anything, I can’t wait. Greetings from Passau

Total overburden when buying scooters
Hello, I hope you can help me here and give me advice that no one can take the decision from me is also clear to me. But maybe someone has good experiences and knows different brands. At the moment I drive a Kymco scooter that has made only trouble from the beginning and is now written down after just 12,000 km. That’s why I am looking for a new scooter, only this variety of suppliers and possibilities overburdens me to the highest degree e. I have to say that I have absolutely 0.0 idea of all motorized means of forward movement which makes the thing even harder for me. What do I need: -a reliable scooter that doesn’t have to go to the workshop every few weeks -drive in good weather 5 days a week 13 km to work (a total of about 26km a day) – didn’t necessarily want to spend more than 2000€ That was actually it, originally I wanted to decide for the Peugeot Kisbee, alternatively stood the Piaggio Z ip to choose from, but I have often been able to experience problems with these scooters in my research, which now make me extremely insecure, since I don’t want to have such a disaster scooter as with my kymco. Does anyone have experience with one of the two scooters or could alternatively suggest a good scooter? Thank you very much in advance.

Retro scooter acknowledges the service
The following happened to me…. We were on the way with two scooters, Sunday towards the ice cafe…. On the way back on a slight slope the retro scooter suddenly went out and didn’t want to start again. After countless attempts at some point the retro jumped again and ran really well. Well, it was nothing to see so further in the normal “ticket plan”. On Thursday morning he rang something But brought his performance……. Friday morning he quit on the way to work I took the patient home by trailer and researched the cause……Motor turned, No noticeable noise …. Until then the compression measurement made serious assumptions. … .3bar…. So disassembled…and … control chain dropped. After visual inspection of all components again built together……he has over 9 bar…. But doesn’t sound good, rather the opposite. So used 139qmb Agregat worried. and this will be installed on the WE, then it should run again. But now a question….. In the scooter papers there is among other things the installed engine, in this case 139qmb No xxx Should man have the papers carefully corrected at the TÜV or no matter? 139qmb is 139qmb What do you think?

Piaggio Sfera 50 ccm again throttle!
Hello to all scooter drivers, I bought me a well used Piaggio Sfera 50 ccm, this scooter has already registered the type approval 25 km/h! Since the previous owner had bought the scooter completely with the throttle at 25 km/h, but he owns the driver’s license he read the scooter with TÜF expert report end throttles. However the type approval remained at 25 km/h and only the report with seal was attached to the operating permit! I have found a car workshop that reinstalls the CDI throttle as well as the throttle ring, my question would be to you…..So I have to go back to the TÜF even though the type approval is still registered at 25 km/h and how completely before the throttle is installed again?????? Would I be very pleased to receive an exact answer from you!!!! LG Achim…..

Yamaha Neos everything new doesn’t start
Hello you dear car connoisseurs, I’m about to suicide, my scooter Yamaha Neos BJ. 1997 stood now for a long time, about 1.5 years. Now the cucumber does not start any more. In short, what I did and determined everything: -Zündkerze new and has sparks – petrol new – carburettor new – suction nozzle with membrane new – unfortunately does not jump on -compression pressure seems to be sufficient, not measured, but with expanded spark plug comes properly power Everything looks dry from the outside, doesn’t seem to be leaking. Maybe anyone else has a clue for me?! And the worst thing my wife wants to do NOW with the scooter Thanks Greeting Volker

SYM scooter too fast
It’s about the SYM scooter type:XS50QT Variant:AF05W. The engine turns sporadicly but 80% much too fast. Occasionally it has the correct idle speed after starting. Crazy is that it more often after turning off the ignition like an old treaker continues up to a minute. The thing is not harmless because I can only bring the scooter to a stop with both brakes because it turns on with almost full throttle. At the traffic light ignition from….er tuckers then continues. In green need ic h just turn on the ignition without starter and it “rests” immediately. I look forward to receiving information. MfG Norbert

Questions regarding Aerox throttling
Moin people, I bought an old Aerox yesterday so that I don’t have to drive to work in nice weather. The scooter itself needs some love, which I will take care of today at noon. New spring leg back, a new battery ect pp. I got myself, because I knew that the scooter is running too fast, a speed limiter got to bring it then about to its allowed maximum speed of 50km/h. At the moment it is like this, it is coupling at about 5000 revolutions and The speed is up to 55km/h with almost exactly 8000 revolutions, from 55 it becomes tough and the speed starts to increase, yesterday I accelerated to over 80km/h there was the speed at just under 9000 revolutions. How fast it is not tried out because I don’t really care, I want to be able to drive the part legally. The problem is now I can throttle it so badly over the speed because the window is not very big. Could i The next problem is there has been quite a lot renewed, there is no original carburetor installed, an open air filter, a sports exhaust, which is now to be fitted back to completely original, because the parts are not there anymore. Only the air filter box I can install again, which was lying around as a spare part in the helmet compartment. I am also not from the compartment, the last time I had more than 15 years ago on my damali ♪ I’ve got a lot of fun ♪ ♪ I’ve got a lot of fun to do ♪

Gilera Nexus 500 speed suddenly at 0, scooter stops, but can be started
Moin, after the problems with the alternator had settled thanks to the forum (Gilera 500 overheated after Lima change) and the scooter for 2 weeks ran smoothly, I stayed on Friday on the way to work. At about 120 km/h the speed went from about 5,000 immediately to 0 and I rolled out. Again tried to start, scooter started immediately and I could drive again 500m, same game speed directly to 0 , no gas assumed, rolled out. The scooter jumps sof in place, however, runs like “a sack of nuts”. Quite restless and it scrapes in the area of the engine or the drive. With the defective alternator was clear to me what it could be, (had after that only problems with the heat development, thanks again to everyone for the help) now I am completely clueless. For my feeling things in the area of the ignition make rather less sense (candle was changed, on the plug and the ignition coil it should not lie with the symptoms or?) I w the description is a bit meager, but if necessary someone has an idea in which direction I have to look. Greetings
