  • 100 km of highway?

I have a 125 scooter with just under 12 hp. I would like to drive a distance of 100 km to be faster over the highway. The route would be the A1 which leads through the Bergisches Land. Is it harmful for the engine if it runs 200 km (back I also have to) at full throttle? Would keep me in the wind shadow of a truck’s. Please no comments that a 125er is not suitable for the highway and I do not make an AFührerschein. If not I drive by car.

  • Piaggio Sfera NSL always drains and does not start

Moin! My scooter has the following problem: For the last few weeks he has lost gas again and again, especially when I gave full gas. I only have to drive a little bit off the gas and then there were no problems. Now eat me off at the traffic light yesterday and didn’t go on. I kicked like a stupid one, then he jumped again for about a minute every time, then again no more gas and drunk off. I just did the first 3 times. a few minutes waited and then he always jumped with E starter, always for a minute about whether in progress or while driving. Then I found a faster way to get him to start: 15 times kick what holds the stuff and then let E starter spin for 5 seconds, then eat again and again for a minute. I did that until I was home. Can anyone tell me what that might be about? Sparkling candle? Carburettor? Would I be happy if mi r who can help, I have to work with the thing and have now taken 2 days + weekend off to find out. Thank you!

  • Honda SH 125 JF 09 jerks with slow high acceleration

For a few days I have had the following problem: When I’m a relatively slow speed the scooter jerks. This is not the case with (otherwise usual) full throttle speeding. I had the lid of the Variomatics already open, but could not find a worn strap or any other abnormalities. After I’ve driven about 25,000 km The Variomatics has already changed, I tap on the Clutch. Is there something special to consider/could it be the Vario? Thank you for your answers!

  • Understand vacuum pump

Hello dear scooter screwdriver. Leonardo 125ccm BJ 96 EZ. July 96 I try here once to describe how I understand the function of the vacuum gasoline pump and the connected hoses, I call the 3 hoses on the pump A, B, C. Hose A with filter to the pump via membrane through vacuum.. Hose B from intake nozzle to tank to pump to pull the membrane down by vacuum and fill the room above with gasoline. At the end of the U-pressure, the fuel will you So much for my idea of the process in the tank, because the pump is installed in the tank. If I look into the not full tank I probably see the U-pressure hose, is that right? In an earlier article by me I had described the problem that the scooter did not sprung any more with really full tank and there was pointed out the, possibly porous or cracked vacuum hose. I would have the d The next effect of the said Maroden hose, no problems with normal driving, with longer driving at a higher speed 70,80,90 it may happen that the membrane does not have the same effect as the previous one, but it does not have the same effect as the previous one. t is pulled far enough because the hose pulls the wrong air out of the tank and thus the additional tank is no longer supplied enough and then the carburetor does not. If I have understood the problem so correctly, then I ask for confirmation. If not then please correction. A big thank you to all interested for your answers and stay healthy. Peter

  • Honda SH 125i – Matching smartphone holder / Navi holder

Hello, I bought myself a Honda SH 125i, built in 2019 and I can move it if everything is going well with the B196 from next week. However, since I will drive longer tours with it tarpaulin or longer distances with it, I wanted to check or ask which exact GPS mount would fit for my smartphone (Galaxy S21 Ultra) and which is really stable? I hate to look for something overpriced, I saw in advertisements what with 50 to 100€ which is simply already up to But I wanted to ask you if you could recommend something. I attached a small picture of my Honda. Thank you in advance!https://i.imgur.com/1kxzN4y.jpeg

  • Warranty loss Dealer workshop

Hello, thank you so much for your time and potential feedback. I’m a little bit torn back and forth. I’ve gained a new Sym HD 300. However, I have a bad feeling that I’ll hand over the scooter to the dealer for the inspections. In short, I don’t have the confidence due to reviews and the interpersonal experiences during the purchase process. I would love to keep the scooter in touch with my trusted dealer. However, This is a dealer for another brand. A call to Sym Deutschland as a solution for my concern was unsuccessful. The scooters for both to give up for maintenance is chatty and would also be too much money for me what flies out of the window. Now the question is, rather with a good conscience to give the scooter to my trusted dealer and in case of cases do not give up the guarantee. Or, with a bad conscience to hand over to the dealer and live with the uncertainty whether o The next dealer would also be a corner away, and there would be Bon Chance again. I myself am a layman and just having fun driving the part. I do not do more than pump up tires and refill oil if necessary. I look forward to your advice. LG

  • New topic

Good day dear motor-talk friends. I recently bought a long standing China scooter (Flextech Fun 50 4T 2008 ). The scooter ran 4000 km and stands relatively well there. Yesterday I completely dismantled the carburettor and cleaned the carburettor, besides today I changed the fuel filter and the spark plug. So far so good. Now I wanted to start the scooter, whereby I think it is normal when the tank was empty and the carburettor also that it has to cycle a bit until si After waiting for the usual time, I helped with the brake cleaner and it stayed on for probably 5 seconds afterwards, but I don’t know if it was the brake cleaner or that is normal. As soon as I pulled off the gas tap, however, it went off. Now I looked at everything again and found out that the fuel runs out at the bottom of the carburetor. (gasifier leaks see picture 1 ). Another thing I noticed is that a hose d he loses fluid from the intake bridge to the air filter. (See picture 2). Now I don’t know what else I can do to get the scooter to run and wonder if all this has to do with the 2 mentioned problems.

  • Honda S Wing 125, started and sometimes not……….

Good day, I have a somewhat strange starting problem. The scooter usually starts immediately without any problems or it still does at the first pressure on the switch. But now it comes, sometimes, and only for a few days, it only makes a audible crack sound. It doesn’t sound like a starter, but rather reminds of a relay. It is then after a while and the other day, when letting off the main stand, it managed to start it as usual without complaint. n. It comes to the thought that it could be a wobble contact. Nothing exactly you don’t know how to say so beautifully. Does anyone know that? Best regards

  • Performance stiffer, lower speed

Hello to the round, have a question. I am (unfortunately) only owner of the FS-Class 3, 4, 5 and therefore only up to 50ccm and up to 50Km/h two-wheelers. Now I have a 50 ccm scooter (yes I know, 49,xx) which is like every standard scooter here and there choked (gas pipe and distance ring). To me the performance, which arrives at the wheels already too low, therefore my question comes now: If it were legal (police and liability) e.g. to cap the resonance tube so that the motor is more free-drawer can work if, in return, I would keep the final speed by adjusting the distance ring on the speed of 45 determined by the design? Police would be legal, since the cylinder capacity and the speed would remain within the legal framework, but what about the liability? Or is my statement not at all correct? Thank you in advance! Michael

  • Derbi GP1 250 clacks while pushing

Good afternoon, I have a Derbi GP1 250 as well as 125er. When pushing the 250er (engine off) it clacks. Got the chain in assumption. BJ 2008. At the Derbi 125 it clacks strongly when driving. Was at a workshop Faber with request for check. Result. Drive belts changed there worn off. Ok but it still clacks quite. According to service manual two chains are installed. My question now, it is normal that these chains clack at the Derbi GP1. There is a lack of half-timber workshops in Österre for Derbi and Faber my scooters are called exotic. Does anyone have more experience with them than I do? Thank you. Lg
