  • Roller Fun Tech City Leader

Hello dear community, I own an agitated City Leader 50cc scooter built in 2014!!!. I’ve already been looking through all the forums and accessories but unfortunately I haven’t found a solution yet. If I run this start, it starts without any problems for about 5-max 10 sec and goes out again even if I give gas the engine dies off. It sounds like it won’t get any sparks anymore. I’ve already cleaned and set the carburettor. Valves are also checked. All cables were on Gasoline also comes in the right amount. Compression is also top. E-CHocke also works right. As I said, he jumps on Super also runs quietly and then goes out again after a few seconds as if he has no spark anymore. I also tried to keep the scooter running without success, exactly the same happens. Can it be that the CDI has a shot? or any cable or sensor a shot???Danke for your help.

  • carburettor problem

hy first of all. I get the carburettor at my hyosung sf50 simply not set. Purified it is complete, gasoline filter in between. the scooter runs so far, it is on the straight so loud tacho 54km/h. But as soon as I turn the mixture grape out also a little bit and try to drive off she dies but. turn it back completely in he runs.. Then have put the needle first around a notch to the top, no change so far, but I had the feeling he pulls better you rch. today I took the carburetor again and checked everything clean, the needle set again by a notch higher (is now at the top of thin) and again tried to set it up is not possible. what can it be, whereby I have the feeling that she pulls so best.

  • Huge problem with peugeot SV

I have a huge problem with my Peugeot SV. My scooter hardly starts after a service life of 2-3 weeks, I have to press 10 ml of petrol into the float chamber each time with a syringe over the drain screw so that the float chamber is filled again, only then it starts up. If I then put it back down and shortly afterwards it starts up without any problems, only if I leave it there again 2-3 weeks he has start-up problems again, these problems exist first since December 2013, although I have my scooter already 20 years, my scooter is built in 1994, so already a little older. So I ask for help with the above mentioned problem, the problem that my scooter starts very badly after 2-3 weeks of service life. Today I had the float chamber run empty myself, I have held a bowl under the drain screw the drain screw is opened so carburettor the gasoline out of the shimmer, running out as this was empty I have the After about 10 seconds he ran organs without problems, i.e. it cannot lie on an empty float chamber alone. I would also like to know how can I use the petrol pump way over my scooter is a vacuum pump because the tank is below the carburettor, check if it still works properly, because in December 2013 this also had no more fuel transported, therefore in December 2013 I started to use the gas pump. November 2013 already the hose from the petrol pump has filled the carburetor (the float chamber) with petrol over this hose, then the scooter jumped on without any problems and I then pulled again while the engine ran the hose which leads from the petrol pump to the carburetor to see if the petrol pump now conveys petrol what it did, the petrol pump stimulated impulse-like gasoline blows direction carburetor, I also don’t know whether this is normal or not, also how much the petrol pump umpe must be promoted I do not know. I therefore also ask for precise instructions how I can check this to ensure that the petrol pump is not defective. I hope now for as helpful answers as possible.

  • Vespa, Kymco for big heavy man with wife 🙂

Hi there, I’m new here and I’m trying to get into the subject of scooters. Ride Skoda Octavia Kombi so far and have driving licence class B. So 50ccm Move in August and then have 6km to work, to Schrebergarten 3km and to my parents 15km overland. I go with a size of 203cm and a combat weight of 110kg in race For weekend trips or in summer to my parents I would like to take my girlfriend with me, so there should be some space. S A scooter that looks a bit retro. I sat yesterday at the dealer’s Vespa LX50, it’s already something. My girlfriend fit with it, but a few centimetres more seat would not be bad. On the net I came across Kymco now like 50 or LX50, but had no opportunity to sit here. Now probably the biggest problem, because of the move to my own home only a limited budget is available. The price should be at <1,000€ l iegen. I prefer around 800€, how you can go out rather something used. I didn't get shot at the two brands, but optically they are already what I'm looking for. 45km/h drive the 50ccm, with a new year of construction all, right? Have I forgotten any other basic important statements information? Already thank you in advance! Greetings

  • after V-belt change funny noise at start

Hello, the V-belt is huge with my scooter rex rs 450 and has now mounted a new one.. my scooter always drove 45kmh now he is driving around the 52kmh probably because the V-belt is a little bigger? because the old was torn down I could not take the measurements I ordered at ebay one that is suitable for the scooter but shouldn’t be bad anymore or? now the scooter does but at the start a bit funny noises that were not there before and that’s why I wanted to go after ask if everything is mounted correctly I have made some pictures vllt helps that yes. I guess it’s in such a part I don’t know how it’s called because I took photos.Do you have to hack the gears into each other? And then there’s another hose that was broken I think I glued it together again with armor tape is so right? Before it wasn’t together but it still worked but vllt it’s better if the line is on? many thanks in front of get out of here a video with the noise when starting vllt you can see what https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-i9cX48m9JM&feature=youtu.be

  • 15€ for 1 litre 2 bar of oil? Are you going to be cheaper? Yes, you can!!

I find 15€ or more for fully synth. or around 10€ for partly synth. Oil for 1 litre much too expensive. Therefore, the search for cheap shopping sources made me. First I was in the DIY stores. But there the oil was only little cheaper than at the tank. At least where I was. Above all, I found only 1 litre canister. Why is there no 5 liter canister??. So I researched and informed intensively on the net and learned so much. So that all what I have posted here one before, 2 bar oils should meet the following standards:API TC, JASO FB, ISO-L-EGB oils which do not meet these standards I would probably not take personally. What does not mean, however, that you should be absolutely bad. I do not want to start a discussion here ala “synthetic vs. partial synthesizers” or similar. Here it is only about favorable sources of supply and possible experiences with the ever found sources. for all those who want to know more about 2 bar oils, here is a very interesting and informative link:Knowledge about 2 bar oils Cheap Where to buy:Full synthetic – Actually only necessary for very powerful 2 clocks.Tire direct – High Performer 2-stroke oil fully synthetic from 4,90€ per litre + Shipping TOTAL RACING 2T 1 litre 5,99€ + ShippingPartial synthetic – For most 2 clocks absolutely sufficientTire direct – High Performer 2-stroke oil partly syntheti sch from 3,20€ per litre + shipping Partial synthetic two-stroke oil MZ406 5L 19,99€ (1 litre 4.00€) + shippingPartial synthetic two-stroke oil MZ406 20L 69,99€ (1 litre 3.50€) incl. shippingMineral 2 measure oil is hardly worth it in my opinion because it is only about 0,50 – 1€ per litre cheaper than partly synthetic. Even at 1000km of driving performance per month you save the highest 1€. On the other hand, if you have several 2 measurers in use and have to watch on every euro….. That’s why I list the cheapest 2 measure Oil that I found. Maybe already has an experience with it and can post you here. Maybe it is good after all. I like to be surprised. 2,40€ are already very cheap. 2-stroke motor oil – Universal 20 liter 47,99€ (1 liter 2,40€) + shipping Post your sources and experiences.

  • Tint spray black-transparent for rear lights/blinker housing/windshield experiences?

Hi, would like to sound a little darker on my scooter, but you should also be able to see something of the light, so rather discreet. I would then join the panel, but it can then also be a little darker. If you need two different tint sprays, or then apply to the panel several times until the desired result has been achieved. What do you take best? Dupli-Color? Thank you and Gruss

  • SV 50 doesn’t pull right

Moin, now the ignition spark is finally there and it is running, but it is still not suitable for driving. The scooter has stood for about 5 months, is almost 20 years old and has over 13kkm. After approx. 20 meters (full) gas it simply does not pull anymore and goes into idle. If you then turn on the gas, the engine reacts briefly, but then is immediately idle again. It does not go out. The carburettor has already been cleaned. What could it be about? Greetings

  • Conversion of petrol tap vacuum system:

Hello Motor Talk Team, I drive a Piaggio Zip type SSL 50 built in 1994, got the part cheap, also runs wonderfully, but I have a rental garage in which the scooter ( scooter ) is accommodated. That means the scooter is driven and then put back in the garage and after which I put the part off it starts to drip, my question to the gentlemen screwdrivers, hobbyists etc.? How can I replace the petrol tap duch a vacuum system. It would be nice if I had some Zuschriften ideas from you could get, because the garage neighbors are getting pretty annoying to me, because the part drips and the garages are provided with vents. Thank you for your efforts. Helmut Zimmermann
