  • ATU/Explorer Race GT50 // leaves during the ride

    Hello scooter community, after many futile attempts to get a used bought scooter (ATU Race GT50) to run properly, now the ideas run out and I hope that someone from the forum still has a good tip in stock. Therefore: Hello for the first time! 🙂 The problem is this: I start the scooter, drive with it quite normally a few kilometers – he does not cause problems, takes on gas quite normally, does not stutter. Upon arrival at the finish I turn off the engine, do what I z The scooter usually starts without problems, starts without problems, but after a few hundred meters it suddenly goes out (the drive continues and the engine is rolling off). Then it is supposed to wait (about 3-5 minutes). After this time it jumps again (no chance before that) and so it then drives again a few dozen meters until it stops and the fun starts from the beginning. My previous tests / experience The gas filter looked relatively empty. So I took an extra hose and removed the vacuum hose from the gas tap, put the extra hose on it and pulled it on it until I saw that there was a lot of petrol in the petrol filter. Scooter dropped, after a few dozen meters stopped again – so it probably wasn’t due to the lack of fuel. I also looked at the gas filter. If there is spark during the acute phase – yes, it is. So I just can’t explain why the scooter always runs out during the ride after a ride and then pause. It seems nothing to be missing. I have done the following: Electrical: – new spark plug cable – new spark plug (by NGK, same as in the service manual) – new CDI (DC / throttled) Other: – tank completely emptied, cleaned – tank tap tested – petrol filter exchanged – air filter exchanged (ge Gen Original) – Carburettor disassembled and cleaned – Carburettor set clean with warm engine – Battery changed Has anyone changed an idea what to do/check now?     Greetings all of you. I’ve been riding scooters mentioned above for a year. He drove a little over 9000 km. He let himself go well until the end of summer, even in cold weather. I’ve probably driven 500-600 km with it. In summer he had difficulties to start again. It was better if he was warm. Now he was standing in the dry for about 4 months and before he gets a sign again, I would like to have him running again. Checked, the nozzles are transparent, floats are easily movable, gasoline was also in it. Carburettors re-installed, a couple of start-ups were made, gasoline was again in the carburettor, so the side of the carburettor is in order. Spark plug removed, no spark spark, new spark plug taken, no spark spark. Ignition coil, ignition cable, ignition cable plug bought and connected as set, candle pure, again no spark. CDI replaced, again no spark… All too much can no longer be or? H Do you still have ideas about what I could do? Greetings

  • Scooter no longer works

    Hello, I bought a used scooter a few days ago ( Explorer Spin Ge 50). The first problem is, the battery was already defective when I bought it, so I bought a new one and installed it. Nevertheless, the E starter and the turn signal do not work. So far I have always started it with Kickstarter. When I left Berg (approx. 60Kmh) the scooter suddenly took no more gas and had power loss. Then I took gas away and braked it. nn the scooter had its full performance again. So I drove again (still mountain off) when I was again at about 60Kmh, the scooter took no gas again and had power loss again, but this time it went out completely. I tried to start the scooter with the kick starter several times but it didn’t work anymore. I can’t get the scooter at all. Can you help me?

    Hello, I need your experience. Would like to get a stronger scooter to drive to work. I’m driving about 10 km of highway at the speed of 100. I noticed that the ride with the Yamaha Beluga 10 inch tires is quite wobbly. Since the adrenaline is already going up at 90 km/h in the curve. My favorite would be a Vespa GTS 300. Now I have to remember that the ride with the small wheels is similarly uncertain at higher speeds, there would be a scooter like the Bev erly with the big wheels more meaningful?   • Roller does not turn high, after electric shock

    Hello dear community, I have an SR 50 R year 2018 Euro 4 and have a problem. The scooter starts but doesn’t turn up any more. As soon as I press the gas. it starts to stutter and goes out after about 20 seconds. Carburettor cleaned, CDI changed, Vario checked, ignition spark available (jumps yes). Short history: I drove at approx. 80 km/h when my scooter abruptly stopped giving gas. After I then went down from the gas and wanted to give gas again, I have a St. I went up to the side but the engine was still running. Then I let it cool down a little and started it again. It goes off perfectly but doesn’t turn up anymore and stutters instead. Especially if I take it off the main stand and give it gas it drains immediately. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

  • Oil loss scooter Gilera Runner C14

    Hello, my Gilera Runner C14 shows a certain oil loss on the engine after long rides. I would like to put this problem off now. Unfortunately, I can’t say exactly where the oil comes from or what it is because it leaves at all. Therefore, I hope for help here in the forum. But now ahead. As I said, it is about a Gilera Runner C14 DT. This stood until last summer about 8 years unused in the open air and was therefore in appropriate condition. I used the last summer and refurbished it. Completely disassembled, cleaned, parts replaced, repainted and reassembled. I have done the following work so far. All rubber hoses (intake nozzles, air intake hose etc.), all petrol lines, exhaust, brake pads front and rear, control bearing, coolant new, brake fluid new, engine oil new, gasoline pump new. The scooter starts easily and drives itself also great. This oil loss, which I can’t exactly locate on the one hand and on the other hand I don’t know how it is created. I have a suspicion about it.   • Roller goes out slowly

    Dear forum Got a sym. Actually because it doesn’t pull well anymore. However, since this winter it goes off in the stand and after giving gas. On the first time start it jumps immediately stops cleanly the stationary gas for about 15 seconds, then rotates always slower until it runs out. After that it only goes hard. it follows however the same pattern. When I gas-gebe takes the gas cleanly turns without jerking up also remains at speed but if I let it go back on stationary gas again I’ve cleaned the carburetor so far. I checked the fuel supply. I looked at the belt and tried to twist the mixture and the stand gas screw. They react, however, e.g. with more stand gas, this only hesitates out.   • Peugeot Speedfight Roller does not start with new cylinder

    Hello, I have a problem with my Peugeot Speedfight 2 50 AC scooter. First of all how it got to the problem. I unfortunately had a piston eater because the oil pump did not work properly. It was an Airsal Sport 70ccm set installed. I bought the scooter with this setup used. The scooter ran perfectly with the setup, so I thought I would buy another Airsal cylinder. I then decided for the T6 Tech Piston 69,7ccm because it applied a little more power can be considered the 70cc sport. Now I installed the piston and it jumped right after the 2 times kicking. So I let the scooter run for about 15 minutes. When I wanted to turn a round with the new cylinder, it did not come from the place. So I gave a short full throttle and it rolled only about 10 cm and stopped again. So my problem is that the scooter with the new piston does not come from the place. What can this be? After all, it ran m I have no experience with scooter tuning as it is my first scooter. I hope you can help me.   • Piaggio Quartz 50 Tacho!

    Good evening together! I have a little problem. On my girlfriend’s scooter, her whole tacho was deliberately destroyed at the school, so that I now have to replace the same completely. However, I find no replacement in the entire net. Can someone help me? Where do I get such a tacho? Unfortunately, have no experience in the field at all! Is there possibly the possibility to take a tacho from a Sfera, I think is similar from the design, or does the plugs not fit? Or does a completely different tacho fit?
