  • RS 450 no spark

    Hello, last week wanted to leave my scooter again after the winter break. He unfortunately no longer starts. At the carburetor petrol arrives, the carburetor itself looks good. I changed the spark plug on suspected, unfortunately also had no success. Wanted to test if sparks come from the spark plug. I screwed the spark plug out and put it on the metal where the valves are located. If I press the e-starter no spark is watching. I do something wrong or where It can be there that no ignition spark comes. Battery has been charged before.

  • SKR125 starts badly after 2 days.

    Hello dear screwdriver, my wife’s beloved SKR 125 starts off badly. Once she has stood for 2 days, you have to org 10 to 20 times until the engine starts with very low idle. Now you have to wait a long time, about 2 minutes, until you can give gas, you make that too early or not extremely emotional it goes out. But then it jumps again immediately. Vegaser we cleaned, the automatic choke moves when it is set under tension. If you start the engine after one day it starts much better, even better after half a day or after hours.   • Vespa LX 125 2006er which battery?

    I took over a wasp 4 years ago. She had an old “acid battery” in it which was completely empty. I always started over the kickstarter. Since it was already at the end of the season, I had bought a new battery at the next season start. GP Pro G89-B Gel (gel battery). Since the gel batteries should be maintenance-free I had decided for them. At the beginning everything was good. Jumps well on and after about 1.5 months again empty. On longer distances it apparently charges something on , so that you can start the wasp again after a short coffee break with battery but if it stands a few days it is empty again. If I charge the battery itself it stops again a few days and is then again empty. My driving profile is also rather little. Every 2 weeks times a few short plug. I sometimes look at wasps weeks standing and they jump with battery always immediately. Now the question: Is the battery generally scrap? Is the gel battery suitable for the Vespa at all and provides the Vespa with enough energy to charge the battery again? Or is the LiMa too small and the Bat. to charge?   • Sym Flash 50 goes off while driving

    Hello screwdriver My scooter Sym Flash makes me trouble again, it goes out during the ride, before it makes funny noises,just as what would grind, but sometimes. If it is cold it jumps well, then I drive 3-4 km and it goes out, and has to push it back. Has someone made such an experience with the Sym?

    Hello friends, I drive a NMAX 125 BJ. 2015. I bought it used at the end of last year with approx. 15,000km. The first owner had always had all inspections done etc.. I myself drove in the time when I have it about 8 tank fillings. Mainly for the daily work path. Now the NMAX went out at speed 100 last week on the country road suddenly. As if I had turned the ignition caps during the ride. I let it roll first and at speed 10km/h (no one was driving behind me) I hit the ignition again and pressed the start button. He then drove 1.5km further than nothing had been. Since I had only one line on the tank indicator, I drove directly (the said 1.5km) to the gas station and filled the tank. After paying he jumped perfectly and immediately. Another approx. 2km of highway he went out again and did not hit any more. I rolled a few times until the battery then into the K After work I was driven home and then picked up the NMAX with the trailer. Currently it is in the garage. The battery is a 12V 6Ah which I had overnight on the charger. After I had installed it and wanted to start it, it was flat again quite quickly. After another 24h charging process I attached it again and at the same time a As soon as I press the start button, the battery is tormented and immediately drops to 5V. So I thought it was due to the battery (although the scooter, according to my assumption, should not go out during the ride because of a weak battery). I ordered the same battery at Polo and installed it today. Result: The NMAX still doesn’t start, but the battery has enough power to run for a few seconds, just jump In addition, I have done the following: New spark plug installed, the old one was somewhat worn out, but otherwise dry and still functional, which also confirmed an expansion and check of the spark. My question to you: How would you proceed next? I have seen that beside the CDI there is a kind of maintenance plug installed. For this four-pin plug I would probably need an ODB 2 diagnostic device (for ́s car) with a suitable adapter plug for Yamaha motorcycles. Can you read anything with this on a scooter and would be such an Au To ODB 2 diagnostic device compatible with said adapter plug? Motor light on the display or similar is not visible. Only this ABS lamp which always runs out after a few meters. It seems to be all right and yet the good ones don’t start. Would be cool if someone knows something and maybe gets me on the right track. And I hope that it is not a defective CDI, which costs almost a third of the purchase price of the scooter… Thank you for reading this long text!

    Hello, wanted to ask how you drive the curves, or narrow curves up to turning. Should you even go into the slanting position with scooters?   • Speedfight 3, new petrol pump but still no fuel

    Hello guys. I bought a not ready Speedfight 3 in the hope to get it back there. But my mopped and motorcycle time is too long ago than I would have really plan of the matter. I hope I get help here to get the part to run again. My first problem is that if I pull the hose that goes to the author from the gasoline pump and lye, no fuel comes. Pump is new, petrol is in and filter is clean. What else could d a problem ? Then I have another plug that is without counterpart, maybe someone knows where it belongs ?     Hello together! Maybe someone can help me. I bought a used Explorer Iron 50 for my son. Now I picked out day storage compartment to look at the engine from above. I noticed a cable that is not connected. Now I find nothing where the cable might be missing or belonging to it. Maybe there’s someone here who has an idea and can help me.   • Rex 50 always goes out

    Good evening, I bought myself a Rex 50 2 weeks ago to drive to work with it. Only when I turn on the scooter, it runs very weak. When I then give gas it usually goes out. I bought and installed a new air filter and a new battery. Since I otherwise have less idea of scooter, I don’t know any more.   • Roller smokes very strong!!

    Moin to everyone!! I would have a problem with which I don’t know any more.. I have a Kreidler RMC E 50 which is from 2008. The scooter smokes after start or if I give full throttle very strong. I would say it is more white smoke and not blue. The spark plug is new and the scooter gets its oil through a hose that in my opinion leads directly to the engine or up to the engine block where possibly an oil pump is on it ?? so I have no idea if it is an oil pump or not, but looks like it.. I can also upload a picture of it if it is desired. To the problems: it is a bit oil under the exhaust to see or. there drips out some oil under the exhaust. knows jmd. maybe further or have there some tips? I have removed the carburettor more often and the gasoline air mixture should also be right, because it is standing very quiet and also with full gas has the “full performance” Thanks in advance LG maxi
