I have to drive 25 km daily from June with the scooter to work and have some fear that it will give up on the way over the next months. Things I have already done -underpressure tested – petrol replaced – carburetor cleaned things I will still do the days – brake linings – tires replaced. Is there one side on which you can buy cheap used or new tires? (all weather) -replace spark plug -replace gasoline filter -my scooter owns an oil filter (probably the front seater has slurred one in between), can I simply replace it with a petrol filter? It is a speedfighter 2 which has been driving for several years without problems w after cleaning the carburettor he ran again. Hello, I bought a used spin GE 50. ( 2 measure separate lubrication ) The mileage of the scooter is 2800 kilometers. It stood a few years in the dry. After it did not jump, of course, I changed the petrol and cleaned the carburettor. I also installed a new battery. I cleaned the air filter and also closed it properly so that it is tight. I also installed a new spark plug. It starts now. I then looked and with my finger almost kept the intake nozzle of the air filter. After that I was able to bring it to full speed without any problems. Now I have closed about 80 percent of the air intake with package adhesive tape now the scooter runs loosely 45 to 48 kmh although the distance ring is installed. But that’s no solution. Has something happened to you before? I already tried a new filter mat, but it allows for even more air. Please send a greeting from Berlin for ideas or solutions.

Hello to the forum, since I am now four weeks a Gilera Runner 200 VXR possessions , have I thought if there are still a few nice people who drive such a scooter and want to have a trip together sometimes ? I for my part often nozzle around alone , since I do not know any other people who drive also a big scooter . But you should also this thing a bit narrowing down , so nothing against 50 ccm scooter driver ( had earlier a ) it should be i 125 ccm. Hello guys I have a question there. I bought myself a Yamaha Aerox from the year 2002. The scooter drives well but only in cold condition and I am pretty sure what is wrong with the cooling. I drove the one longer distance or wanted to drive a longer distance with it, at the 8 km the sled went hot and did not want to go on anymore… the next morning she jumped immediately again. I disassembled the cylinder and it is just before eating r but what I discovered is that the thermostat was not there at the head and the carburettor heating was not connected but only bridged. Well now I have ordered a new cylinder kit a thermostat and a new water pump. Now to the question(s) the thermostat could have done what with it running hot, the thermostat and the carburettor heating is necessary at all and after I have installed the new parts and the problem is still there and it is again hot ß runs what could be the cause because I heard that the cooler can’t break much and it rarely breaks.
