  • ran only briefly, now not at all

Hello, my wife’s scooter, a Candy 50 (ATU scooter) is driving me crazy at the moment. After winter I finished it again (marks on it, liquids checked,…) after the test drive, I noticed the wet carburettor, so I looked, found faults quickly, the petrol hose. So new ones got and changed, an adventure for themselves, you have to dismantle almost everything to get to the “petrol tap”. Anyway, the hose went very hard on the carburettor, so ha b I helped with some fat. Then he didn’t run any more, I thought to myself, well maybe fat hangs somewhere, took throttle valve cleaner and pushed through it. Ging everything again, ran also well. Hattse in the afternoon just shot a city round, was all right early, my wife wanted to jump at work bad, but he always does, but only with her As a real gentleman I then started him a few minutes later she called me suddenly, “yes, the sh…di ng went out and no longer goes on” in the middle of the ride. She then pushed him home. Then thought to me, well maybe still a fat lump that clogged something, just clean the carburettor. Thoughtfully done, carburettor taken out, everything built apart and inserted in brake cleaner, let it stand over and put everything together again, before the nozzles still blown free with throttle valve cleaner (from the can), fogging beautifully. he didn’t really, so he didn’t have closed, so the carburettor ran over, so everything at the beginning, the second time the swimmer closed then too. Then he ran however always only about 5 seconds, then he went out, no matter how much or little gas one gave. One could fetch as often as possible again. The next day, he then did not jump at Hab then take out the spark plug and controlled, was just around. New spark plug in, nothing, everything at as before. Carburettor has filled up, has an exhaust screw on it. I then checked the spark plug and cables and also disconnected the battery, brings nothing. Spark plug is also a new one in it, nevertheless nothing to do. Brake cleaner sprayed into the carburettor nix. If I start it with the electric starter and give it gas, it sounds like a constantly pulling off a suction cup. Has an idea where I can look for faults, I guess he almost gets no spark that melted the ignition system. • Scooter at start, no train to the top after a short ride

Hey guys, you’ve been able to help me super well here, I hope you can support me with this problem again. The following problem: 1.) I had a piston eater and have successfully changed the cylinder including piston against a base Airsal 50ccm. 2.) When I start the scooter and start it, it has a great train and pulls up to its maximum speed (magic 53KmH). After the first brake it seems to me as if someone is slowing down the scooter under the roller. Up to about 30Kmh he pulls still great, from then on it is the purest cramp to bring him up. 3.) I tested already at the carburettor the stand gas screw and also the mixture screw with different adjustment possibilities, unfortunately the whole had not led to success. I am once again at a loss, it is really annoying to row around with such a cucumber on the road. Does one of you have an idea?

  • Daelim s five doesn’t get gas in the carburetor.

I’ve had the problem for a few days that the carburetor doesn’t get gas. Now it comes to the gas tap after that I’ve changed the tap. But it didn’t do anything. I also checked the hoses. They’re not all clogged. (It’s gas in the tank) Do you know what that could be?

  • Kymco Downtown 300 – Semi-bearing shells out and install / rattle noise engine

  • Piaggio Fly 125 just goes out and starts again after 3-5 min.

Hi my son has a Piaggio Fly 125 scooter from 2009 with 4600km. The problem is that the scooter starts normal and has full power drives 90km/h. But he just goes out at some point or drives max. 30km/h and doesn’t want to start any more. Only after about 3-5 minutes he starts again and has full power. Candle is new from NGK; the petrol valve is new (was defective also went out) and underpressure and petrol hoses New transparent. I can see that he gets gasoline when starting a lso it can’t be that he lacks fuel for this the float needle would have to stay stuck !? Slider with membrane is also new. Also the old candle was clean and dry from Champion. Can it be that the ignition coil gets out or someone knows the problem or CDI unit defective ? Why does this scooter just go out during the ride and jumps again after 5 minutes ? Tank cover turned up but does not hiss any vacuum or does not seem to be the problem !? What so ll i change ? Sometimes the scooter runs but also a week without any problems . So if you have to describe it it is as if it was drunk because the choke is not taken back like with old cars with manual choke and only when the candle has dried up goes on . Can it be the E-choke which is no longer reacting and remains open how does it work how can it be tested ? Is it, according to experience, the CDI ignition control gr guesses ? Bin car mechanic just need a tip what it can be. Thanks

  • Repair (leave) or re-purchasing scooters

Hello everybody, I need your assessment. I currently have a Peugeot Speedfight 3 LC from 2010, which currently has about 33,000 km on the clock, running reliably, but has various problems that you should tackle, you could also say it is now a repair jam. Now for me the question arises, how useful this is with this scooter everything still, or whether a new purchase would not make any sense anymore. The following is to be done: – Brakes at the front and at the rear need new pads, in the front possibly even a new caliper, since this is often fixed when used with little use, so after braking does not make any more skilful. – Belts new – Varioweights new – Spark plug new – Air filter new – The biggest problem: The holder of the exhaust on the cylinder is leaking, here there is massive rust and the attachment to the cylinder is already a piece of hera This leads to the need for a new cylinder, if the one after 33k km would not come soon anyway, with everything that belongs to it (pistons,…?) – A new exhaust would probably be due again, because you would probably not get the old one close to the new cylinder anymore. – The scooter pulls power somewhere. I have installed a battery separator, that could stay that way, but belongs here to the completeness with pure. Much of it is the normal maintenance, that is clear to me. But I think the topic of cylinder with piston + exhaust exchange will hit here. Problematic here is the brutal rust, because one will probably hardly get a screw normal. Most repairs would have to be done in a workshop, because I see myself only for small things able. Belts / ZK / air filter I could exchange myself, I can not do the rest. What would you value me for the whole thing? And would it make sense make the scooter to be repaired again or rather drive as long as it runs and then switch to something new?

  • Piaggio Zip 50 2 timer scooter bought, runs short and goes out again

Sorry, I know there are already some of these threads and I tried them all and everything…so I hope that I can make a difference with a proper thread …. I bought a Piaggio Zip 50 2 clock from classified ads. The scooter was handed over to me in the middle of a city so I did not take a test drive. I got it with a gentle kick and it sounded normal, so I loaded it into the car and pulled my way mighty big mistake he. It turns out that you can kick on the scooter in the cold state, but he runs out after a short time. Then he doesn’t go to no matter how to org and kick. If you wait a day he starts again, but again only for a minute. In one minute the scooter has power and everything, you can turn it up etc., so he doesn’t drain when you give gas, he drinks off when he gets warm I think, or after some time… Everything you can do as a layman I already tried. Ignition spark is there, jets are clean, fuel runs into the carburetor…the carburetor looks like new…what could not be right?

  • Peugeot Speedforce 4-T 125er no spark

Hello together. After the battery was empty over the winter, I bought a new battery now. Connected. Engine turns, smells like petrol, but doesn’t jump on. Zükerze out, looks good. During the start attempt he blows out fuel mixture. But unfortunately NO ZÜNDUNKE. All cables checked. Vehicle was standing outside… However, until last. The displays in the display everything OK, as it should be. Does anyone have an idea? Greeting Toni 125- Roller Jetforce BJ 2005, 4 clocks 9 kw

  • Quadro 350s – a lot of oil in the air filter box

Hello guys, I have a Quadro 350s. After a few kilometers (about 200km) there is already a lot of oil in the air filter box. The cylinder head gasket and piston rings were exchanged two weeks ago. I had the problem before the repair, but it was oil water mixture. Valve play was set. No noticeable power loss. The stationary gas fluctuates a bit back and forth. The oil was only filled up about 100km ago, currently again below minimum. The oil which is missing in the air filter box n. The colour of the oil looks like fresh from the canister. Compression was at approx. 12 bar. KM-Stand approx. 40 000km. Cooling water remains constant and no more loss (after cylinder head gasket change). It starts immediately and without mukken. Spark plug picture currently not available, since it is new. What can this be about?

  • Oil runs droplets from small hose

Hello dear people, thank you so much for getting rid of my questions here I recently bought a scooter: Peugeut Looxor 50. At first it was very difficult to get the scooter. The E-starter didn’t manage it and I had to kick very, very often until I got it. He also went out more often after some time. After many attempts I managed to get started and drove about 20 minutes over the field paths. Suddenly there was a very bad way. önes noise and the engine suddenly went out. I could turn it on again, but that happened immediately after 50 meters again. Now the starter was blocked and let itself be moved nciht more. Then I pushed it home and disassembled it with a friend, cleaned the carburetor, refilled some oil. We managed to get the engine to run again – because of fear of breaking it we didn’t drive with it anymore. Now to the own I have a problem (I think): We have assumed that the engine does not get any oil and therefore has become much too hot. During the dismantling we noticed that the “footroom”, i.e. under the feet, is full of oil. It came out afterwards that there is a small hose that does not lead anywhere and loses drop-by-drop oil when the engine is running. However, I don’t think this is directly starting from the oil pump, as it sits further down. Here’s a picture: Can someone help me? E there is also somehow nothing nearby where the hose could have been on it. The black hose looks very closed and it would be funny to just put the hose on it.
