Hello. With my Suzuki Katana AY50W (old series) the Lima, more precisely the pole wheel is probably defective. E-starter, brake light, turn signal and horn work. However, coils are probably broken which were responsible for front and rear light, tacho lighting and tank indicator. Anyway, the workshop told me that!? I read now that rectifiers can also break. I measured for myself, the measuring device shows with both cables from the Lima with connection to the cable tree at running Engine fluctuating between 0 and 4 volts AC. If I disconnect the connection the engine goes off. A new rotor is too expensive for me (200 €) and used there is nothing. So that I at least have front and rear light again available (only from time to time when I drive in the evening), I would like to have the juice removed from the battery instead of from the Lima. In doing so I would take in buying the battery more often to recharge. But how do I wire that? Bzw. is this the right way? From the Lima go a red and a yellow cable to the wire harness. There they disappear. I have a separate light switch on which there are three cables, but no red and no yellow what comes from the Lima. I have already tried to connect the +Pol of the battery directly to the red or yellow cable, since I thought one of the two would work. However, after pressing the switch the light remained out, even with running motor. Can someone help me?

Honda PCX 125 – Starter only with left brake lever, strongly pulled
Question: I might want to add a Honda PCX 125 from 2018, there were no defects during the test drive – except that I had to put on the left brake lever really hard so that the starter could be operated. Is this normal with Honda scooters!? (Had only Yamaha and Piaggio so far) Has anyone seen this before!? Thanks for every tip.

What good is 2 bar (or 4 bar oil) mixture in a 4 bar motor?
Hello , today a few big question marks came into my mind and I ask you if you have an explanation for this ,now to the facts: I had a Romet Ogar 202 with Honda SS50 engine bought from an old pensioner with about 400km run. At the purchase he said that I should refuel the 4stroke engine with lubricating oil (no matter which) in ratio 1:25 so that the engine runs better ,I know myself a bit with mopeds and of course have the old oil plörre directly through fresh petrol because I thought the has had ben brain damage and am now at 1700 km .I read the set of it no rest and have ,experimentally like I am 1 liter filtered old engine oil (Sae 30) of our Ford Transit 85′ in the ratio 1:25 mixed and fuelled . Well the stupid thing about it : the Honda engine ran better ; he had an anstadt 64 kmh at once 72 kmh (in both directions ) and ran much quieter . That could not at all I thought , I expected that the Hobe l maybe 40 creates and a smog cloud behind it does not pull anything?! Does anyone of you have any advice? Can I drive with it permanently or do I have to fear damage? P.S Before (and still) the motor runs quite lean (white spark plug) if that matters.

Problems with jetforce tsdi, urgent!
Hello, I have a problem with a jetforce tsdi. The scooter doesn’t want to start. If I want to start, you hear that he wants to light briefly and then you org and there’s nothing. Renewed were pistons, cylinders, compressor, spark plug. Spark is present. Screw the candle out she’s wet. In the error memory nothing is stored. I’ve also re-learned the throttle valve. I hope you can help me. Greet Alex

High fuel consumption Piaggio Quartz
Moin, I have a problem with my Piaggio Quartz 50 scooter. The fuel consumption is about 7 liters. We flushed the carburetor with brake cleaner and installed another spark plug (Champion rn2c). After that the scooter ran a little better but the consumption has not improved. Does any of you have any idea what it might be about or a solution proposal? lg

Honda SFX 50 V-belts frayed and clutch hard to press
Hello dear community, I’ll get in touch again. I took off the Vario cover today and had to find out that the fringes of the V-belt were tangled by the wave of the Variomatik. The V-belt, which came new last year, looked quite taken away. That’s all apparently happened through the Malossi Multivar. Before the Multivar was installed the V-belt was still great. with the original V-belt and the 9gram weights the scooter also ran 80km/h. I was scared and nd wanted to rebuild everything immediately again, so I removed V-belts and installed the old variomatics with the newly acquired 9gram weights. During assembly the clutch could be pressed hard, so that I could easily push the V-belt onto the shaft from the Variomatics. That was not the case before, is now also the clutch or the converter worn out? now everything was rebuilt and could very hard push the V-belt back to the wave. was quite powerful. at the first test drive I noticed that the scooter was slower than before with the original variomatic. at that time the scooter ran 80, now it runs with the same setup 70. I’m not talking about the vmax, but I worry about the clutch. despite the malossi multivar, I never accelerated strongly or something. had bought it then as replacement and not to do.

I’m on the hose!
Moin, have dismantled my scooter ,REX RS 500 QM50QT-6A/25″ because the frame should be painted. Now I can’t remember where the long hose that is located at the top of the petrol tank should go, about 5-7 cm further to the middle of cable of the level sensor. The free end, about 1 cm, is slightly softer than the rest, as if it were immersed in a solvent, so it was also connected somewhere. By the way, around the tank opening is a “shell” that prevents Gasoline should fall on parts of the scooter when refueling. A hose can be connected to this “shell”, but I can’t imagine that the dust from the shell should get into the gas tap, so the mysterious hose should not be there either. I hope someone knows it and reveals it to me, thank you for it.

Purchase advice: Search a scooter (NEW) max. 1,750 EUR [no entry!]
Good day all together, in such sunny days I like to remember how I drove around with the Explorer GT50 scooter from ATU 7 years ago. (see Appendix) It cost me 1,000 € earlier. The 2 wheel had 3 years no ticks except the the gas drawstring felt 400x torn. 😀 I would like to get a scooter again. NEW + 50ccm I want to stay with registration, helmet etc. at approx. 2.000 EUR. Thus the scooter should cost max. 1.500 – 1.750 EUR. (If I will of course plunder my “sparing can” for 1.899 EUR.) Since I have absolutely 0 idea of scooters, I would be very happy about a recommendation with link. The scooter will only be used for short distances; 10 minutes to work or 15 minutes to the lake and only when it is sunny. I live in the area Dortmund. Since I am independent with the family and we also own transporters, a pick-up or delivery would be no problem at all. I look forward to your answers. Greetings, Pascal P.S.: Vllt as an incentive: I like it visually very sporty or very retro.

ScooterEmployer does not get anywhere
I have bought a used Benelli 491 in 1999. I have the problem that the scooter accelerates very badly and simply does not come from the spot. According to Tacho, I reach the mountain from 60 to 65kmh. On low gradients I reach a maximum of 10 to 15kmh. If I give full throttle in the stand, I can hold the scooter without problems with the two legs at the spot. On the level I need vo n 0 to 40kmh easy 60 seconds. You notice that the scooter stays stuck in the lower speed range and simply does not get any further up. As if the power is missing. Reverometer unfortunately I did not install any. What I have already done: Clutch springs replaced. Yellow were in it. I removed them. Then polini 5000rpm and 6500rpm installed – no difference detectable Front is a small ring on the shaft from the previous owner. Thus, the belt lies completely on the shaft. Variogewich 6,5 grams was installed. Then converted to 6,0 and 5,5gr – both times no difference can be detected. Counter-pressure spring nothing changed. Carburettor removed and tested: main nozzle 74er installed. Side nozzle 38er. No exchange performed. With a picture of the spark plug. New air filter purchased and installed, but still original and no sport air filter or similar. Petrol hoses replaced Did you give me tips on what I can still check? If information is missing please report. Greeting Tim
