  • Which scooter to go to work?

Hi guys, I’m coming over from the Subaru Forum to you to explore which is probably the better (best?) scooter for me. As my girlfriend soon needs the Subi for the child, I’m looking for a cheap alternative to get to work (and back of course also). So, my work path is 10km road per day, all within the city. Here would probably be enough a 50 scooter, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa h a 125, so that even longer distances are no problem. Requirement to the vehicle: No more than 125cc and 11kw (I am from Austria, and have the possibility to move such a scooter with code 111) Durable and robust, engine-technical injector or still carburetor? Design-technically a Honda PCX or a Yamaha Xmax would be quite ok, I do not necessarily need a passageway, even if it is probably more comfortable. As for the price, well, 2000 Euro I had toe You’re supposed to be thin, but it’s also used for Honda or Yamaha. Then there’s Kymco and Daelim, which are not so expensive. Whether it’s a newer or used, depends on how reliable it is. I don’t need any accessories. It’s and should be a pure “work animal”. Hope you can help me. Thanks and nice greetings, Ben

  • Pinlock visor fogged from the outside

Hi, I don’t know if the question is right here, probably not, but I didn’t find a suitable section right away. I’ve had a new first scooter for 3 weeks. Of course a new helmet. I bought a pinlock extra because of the cold days. It’s definitely with the silicone lip everywhere. But it can’t be that. Because the pinlock is banging from the outside. So on the side that is facing my face. Vllt it was a mistake, the visor as a Seek to clean the pinlock with isopropanol. However, since I am a neurodermitist and always have some grease cream on my fingers and when using it inevitably lands on the pinlock, I cleaned it with isopropanol. Several times, because I had to re-use the pinlock several times. Anyway, the pinlock constantly attacks. Predominantly on the left side. The right side remains relatively spared. What can I do? What is it about? I am also surprised that it is mainly on the left side And that extends from the centre of the left.

  • Spark plug functional but no ignition spark

Good evening, As the title says, my spark plug is functional but I don’t get any sparks. I built in a new carburetor and the scooter ran only had to adjust the carburetor. When I came home in the evening and wanted to start the scooter he didn’t go on anymore. I tested the spark plug and no spark came. I got a spark plug from the other scooter that does not work. I know someone where that can lie once saw if any cable is loose abe It’s all right.

  • Install a stronger engine.

Hello, I have an Explorer race gt 50 scooter. Now my question is it is possible to install a stronger engine? If so which one? My goal is not that it runs faster but only that it has more ps. Installation is not a problem for me mainly about which engine I can install? Thanks for your tips VG Manuel

  • Sym Orbit II does not start

Moin, as the title already says, the scooter does not start. I checked: – battery fully charged – carburetor in general removed, disassembled, cleaned – suction as far as possible – fuel also comes – the engine is just missing the last bit until it starts Hab the spark plug out, held on mass, no spark -> New candle ordered, still no spark. I then saw that the cable from coil to spark plug was a little “comforted”, probably against some hot ßes component came, but as far as possible for safety orders new coil and cables. Still no spark of ignition. At the pins of the ignition coil I measure 5V, is the value i.o. or too little ? I am grateful for every tip Alessandro

  • Gogoro SuperSport – the perfect electric scooter?

One way forward – unfortunately (yet?) not available in Europe, yet I find a discussion worth it: Gogoro, a Taiwanese electric scooter manufacturer, presented the, an L3e electric scooter with interesting features, as I find: The special, besides the above mentioned technical data, is the battery exchange network, which is already quite used in Taiwan, i.e. one, within a few seconds. Thus – provided in reach available charging stations – one has an almost unlimited range, which the Scooter would even make interesting for tours. Always provided that the 14/13-inch tire is not too small… I.e. such an e-roller with the above mentioned technical data + the exchange network in Germany and Europe, that would be quite close to the ideal e-roller, or what do you mean? By the way, the new and the both use the Gogoro exchange system. Unfortunately, at least I am not aware of any plans that the Gogoro exchange network will come to Europe and Germany in the near future. or

  • Rear wheel heavy

Hello all, I have a Nova Motors GT3 and unfortunately a problem that I can’t handle. Basically I’m driving a screwdriver, but rather at the car. That’s why the scooter is actually brought to the local screwdriver. However, this one doesn’t want to worry about the problem anymore and only scolds at the China scooters. Ultimately, this doesn’t help me any further :/ Currently the rear wheel is heavy. You need a lot of power to turn it around. What’s that all about? put down the lid and loosened the brake so that you can close it. Since a thousand words probably wouldn’t help, here’s a video:

  • Cooling system

Moin Moin, bought me a Yamaha 125ger YP, year 1998, is already an older gentleman but still quite well in the juice, since it is my first scooter, I am not so familiar with the matter yet and already the first problem is good. When I drove co. so 30 km today my temperature indicator went far into the red field and then waved up and down on the further drive, but mostly remained near the red field. The cooling water level is however fine. Maybe can someone might tell me what it might be because I still have little experience with the scooter. I have now removed the thermostat, but the display moves further just before the red field unfortunately I also do not know where it should stand at operating temperature. Greeting to all Ronni126

  • 4T China scooter starts at the stand

Hello together, have the problem that my Benzhou YIYING YY50QT-02 Jack Fox in the stand is pushing properly forward and wants to go off. I already tried at the stand gas. I turned down the stand gas as far as it was possible. Nevertheless, he continues to push forward and the wheel turns cheerfully.. (Because of the low stand gas he vibrates/tucks really strongly in the stand!) I have already done the following things: Carburettor checked and cleaned Varioweights from 4gr on 6gr Does anyone have an idea?? I’m really perplexed.. Greetings Kutti

  • Kymco people ECO CAT

Hello electronics experts, I have no spark on the roller candle. The ignition coil was defective in the secondary circuit. After the installation of another tested still no spark. Now my questions: Can I measure the voltage coming from the CDI to the ignition coil with the multimeter. I guess it would have to be a rectangle voltage or a sine. How much volts should it be about. Is the kick starter enough to see the voltage? E-starter is not yet working. Is it for the CDI important that exactly the primary resistance from the original coil is present or does it not matter there an Ohm ? Thank you for your answers Uwe from Trossingen
