Aprilia SR Max 125, extension rear wheel or caliper for tyre change
Hello to the world of screwdrivers! I drive an Aprilia SR Max 125 and would like to expand the rear wheel for the purpose of tyre change. Have so far everything that is in the way. Unfortunately, I fail at the distance of the brake caliper, because it cannot be pulled from the disc due to lack of space. The distance between the upper edge of the disc to the inside rim is simply too small. I have removed the saddle from the swing arm and from the adapter, but the space simply is not enough to pull off. I had even considered unscrewing the disc. But you can’t get the screw connection in the built-in condition… Question: Does anyone have a useful suggestion to remove the rear brake caliper??? Do you have to open it? If yes, how? What should I be aware of? Unfortunately I have not found any useful hints on the web or in the forum. I look forward to useful tips! Thank you!

Hello, after I have lived and worked in Vietnam in recent years, and I have come to the taste of motorized two-wheelers, I have been back in Germany since this year. And as you can probably imagine, I would like to do the daily work route (9km away, Hamburg city center) with a motorcycle here as well. I find the idea of e-rollers quite interesting. That’s why I would like to know whether these scooters are really good. Are there any other disadvantages of electric scooters that need to be considered? Are there any brands that are recommended or from which you should leave your fingers? I find a motorcycle driver’s license a bit expensive. Even the B196 entry in the car driver’s license costs already around 800€? I did a driver’s license in Vietnam, but it is probably not available in Germany. And the B196 entry is not recognized abroad if I understand that correctly. Most electric scooters are also limited to 45km/h, for which I don’t need a new bill in this case. But I’m not sure if this is not a bit dangerously slow in road traffic, or if this is no problem in the city. In itself it runs very clean and good, but I have the problem that it starts very badly. After one night you have to kick for 10 minutes, until there comes something. With E-starter mostly nothing happens at all. The starter runs but the engine does not start. The problem tri It’s not just after one night. Sometimes it has to have stood for only 10-20 minutes, then you can kick again until the foot hurts. Once it runs, it can be easily started again with e-starter and kickstarter. I have already checked some things, but unfortunately not found the error. Fuel definitely arrives. Spark plug also ignites reliably. Carburettor is pretty fresh and completely new. If someone has an idea, I would be for every tip and every one of them. I’m grateful for the suggestion.

Now I have been aware for a long time that this day would come, that my Aprilia will be broken, at this mileage. So I have already looked in the last months after a suitable replacement. In the first weeks the Kymco Downdown 125 ccm, Piaggio X10 125 ccm, SYM GTS 125i ccm and the Peugeot Satelis II 125 ccm are in the narrow I went to various dealers and got advice. Speedfight 4 – Lost power / goes without reason – Mysterious troubleshooting
Hello community, maybe someone has an idea what it might be, the workshop is simply not able to fix the error. It’s about a Peugeot Speedfight 4 (50ccm) scooter from my dad, this one was missed a 70y piston to get to something over 50 km/h. As far as good and has been installed for a long time. The problem with the scooter is that it runs more often without problems, but it also happens more often that he gets hardly any train during the ride, say hardly steal any more The result is then, you have to stop and the scooter goes out at some point. Often you also have the problem at the traffic light, you want to go gas, it loses power immediately, does not come from the spot and in the end you have to push the scooter “just” at the roadside and do the procedure below so that it goes on again. Only solution: turn out scooters, sometimes you have to do it 2-3 times before it has the normal power to drive again. On good days it happens 0-1x, on bad days within 30 minutes like times 3, 4, 5 times or more. The workshop simply does not manage to locate the error and fix it, because the error occurs so spontaneously that it cannot always be reproduced. Oh yes and why always, often (almost always) one Wailing contact on the rear light so that the brake light also works when braking. Maybe one of you has an idea what that might be.
