  • Peugeot Speedfight 3 AC does not jump anymore

Hello together, first of all, I’m Laie and have done only minor repairs on 2 different scooters so please have a little indulgence if I did something wrong ?? So to the problem: I have a Speedfight 3 AC (20.000km ??) at which about 1 month ago the drive belt is torn, at the time it ran problemless, the belt is torn at approx. 35km/h, the engine continued running, I then pushed it to the parking lot and tested again, if it still starts, the Two weeks ago I brought him to my workshop, but he didn’t jump any more, belts changed, installed a new clutch + bell directly on the occasion. Since he was only started by kickstarter, new battery installed, still doesn’t start. Carburettor cleaned and needle checked, since in the meantime there was a fuel mixture in the air filter and new spark plug installed, still nothing, spark is available. Unfortunately, I don’t know what it was like. Now it can still be because he still doesn’t start, would be great if someone had ideas.

  • Maxsym 400i ABS scooter

Hello Maxsym 400i ABS-Roller friends, bought me the above mentioned scooter 2 weeks ago. In order to test the scooter before the first service (at 1000 km), I have already driven a few km like: highway, nature road, main roads, mountain roads. At the beginning the scooter runs a little “raw”, but it remains during the whole ride. That actually bothers me much less. What I complain about is that from about 60Km/h upwards a “back” starts, in other words a The problem was already with my dealer. There a service technician drove the scooter and confirmed to me what I found out. Gem. the seller, I now have to drive the scooter until the first service. There is then also a question to the manufacturer, how the problem can be solved and whether it is normal. Otherwise I am actually satisfied so far. So have the question to you, what do you have for problems mi t this scooter detected? Can the “jumping” the restless ride be fixed? Greetings from Switzerland

  • SYM GTS 125i EVO leaves after launch

Moin dear forum community! I have a problem with my sym since recently. It starts perfectly, after that it runs in idle about 30sec to 60sec. and when I then give gas, it goes out suddenly. Even if I start a traffic light and then stand, it goes into idle at about 900 rpm and goes out. However, as soon as it is warm, everything is OK. Does someone have an idea. Have you only since April ́11. It only runs long distance (about 80 km a day to work to/back). arantie, I would still be happy if you could tell me what it is. Then I can give my dealer a tip without having to look for hours. Thank you for your help. Greetings Ingo

  • Vespa Cosa 200 fuel problems with half full tank

Hello! I have been driving Vespa Cosa 200 (1992) for some time and am actually very satisfied with the “part”. Unfortunately, she has a Macke, which is probably a child’s disease of the Cosa 200. If the tank is about half empty, the carburetor no longer gets enough fuel and the Cosa goes out and then doesn’t start any more. But if petrol is filled up into the tank, it can easily be started again and then drives on without any problems. a if the tank is semi-empty, there would not be enough pressure to provide enough fuel in the carburettor; who has similar experience or even advice to remedy it?

  • Super E10 in the scooter??

Did anyone ever fill E10? 10% ethanol was there? Should a scooter be running normally, od?

  • Peugeot Speedfight 2 AC does not start after tyre change at the rear

Hello, yes, it sounds funny, but it’s like that. I got the old, screwed-up scooter halfway back to work. I had to dismantle the rear wheel after the last test drive (you can see that he was driving), because it was always flat after a few days. So the exhaust was unscrewed, the rear wheel was unscrewed, the rim bed was rusted off, everything was re-assembled. When I press the starter button, only the red lamp (with the oil can) goes on and it does “crack” (as if a Rela That’s it then. Kickstarter doesn’t bring anything. Now I think as a layman, that you can do almost nothing wrong with the bike and on it again. What can I look at there? Did I (by mistake and unknowingly) pull off any cable? Please give me some more detailed tips, since I am by far not a scooter expert. Thank you !!! Oh so: petrol is in the tank, battery is charged (which also had a problem). Thomas

  • Heidenau K 58 M+S

Good morning, here a short look over the previous experience with this tire. – adhesion on dry substrates in the temperature range -5°C to about 20°C is consistently very good; – adhesion on wet substrates at temperatures above the freezing point is also very good to evaluate; (we do not have the notorious basalt paving stones here); – adhesion on “wet” substrates below the freezing point is good to very good on asphalt and concrete; smoothing is overriding – the adhesion of the tyre to mature red stones, as found in the estuary of land entrances, is not always given; the same applies to the adhesion on the red colour, which is painted in the crossing area on cycle paths that cross the road; (In both cases I slipped yesterday on this red ground; in the first case the front wheel slipped when turning, and in the second case the rear wheel broke when starting. after the traffic light stop) – Adhesion of the tyre on frozen snow or new snow is good as long as one does not slow down; the braking process follows a slipping of the wheels, if these are stopped suddenly. – Dryer as well as wet sand is well passable; the tyre is currently rolled about 3,500 km; a visible wear of the profile is not yet detectable. ciao Wauhoo

  • Lambretta?

I’ve been thinking about getting a lambretta for half an eternity. But I don’t know where to get a thing like that. But is there any point of contact? I really don’t want to mess around with it. If one really is the top shot. Does anyone know what?

  • A small episode about “China Roller”

Last weekend we were looking for a scooter for the son of our neighbors. A used Rex Boston 8, just under two years old, 600km on the clock, we wanted to look at each other. So we drove there and wanted to see how he was running. He didn’t run. E-starter turned cheerfully, but he didn’t jump on. The saleswoman said that kickstarter was going and wanted to show it. When I saw this dainty person jumping around on the kickstarter, I became a little thoughtful. she asked me if I wanted to try it again. Okay, I wanted to. Kickstarter slightly pushed down until he hooked in, then kicked with momentum. That went a few times well, then an ugly crunch, and the kickstarter wave broke out of the lid. I: “Ups” saleswoman: “Ups” – pause – “The sale probably got done with it…?” Around the kickstarter wave a about 4x4cm large piece broke out of the housing cover. The wall thickness, the s I revealed, was with much benevolence and generously estimated about 2mm. Since the scooter had a few days warranty, I recommended the seller, which in any case to complain to the seller, because a kick starter should not just break out when intended use. On the occasion she should ask sometimes, whether a totally yellowed and matte headlight “glass” is not also a guarantee case. Finally we got the scooter still with the E-starter and a lot of feeling to run at the gas handle. Well, he didn’t run properly, but died at the time of giving gas immediately. A test drive was not to be thought of. Another case for the guarantee. Do I still have to mention that we withdrew from the purchase? Greeting Martin.
