Hi I bought a 50cc scooter (used). After I cleaned the carburettor it also runs again. Only then I noticed that the hose from the oil tank was not in the noror but hung beside it. The previous owner has always turned oil into gasoline. My problem: how can I determine if it pulls the oil by itself? And whether everything still works. Moin The temperature indicator has recently moved up by a quarter. If I switch on the ignition in cold engine, the pointer is already on the 1/4 bar. I recommend you never to buy an MKS ECOBIKE…the biggest scrap. My scooter has now 1.5 years and had to have the following new things: V-belts cheap approx.18€10×180,00 € V-belts medium 1×22,00 € V-belts expensive 1×26,00 € alternator 1×42,00 € V-belts front 1×50,00 € inspection 1×180,00 € spark plug 1×18,00 € counter-pressure spring 2×19,11 € clutch 1×37,00 € V-belts 1×12,40 € 586,51 € I did not buy the spare parts, not that you think I buy 11 V-belts. A mechanic has now found that the centrifugal force coupling was broken from the beginning and makes your V-belt melt and stink. The scooter is pure scrap. Moin Moin, I have a Gilera runner sp50 c14 bj. 99 water cooled! Battery is new, spark plug + cable is new, carburettor is cleaned, battery is new, e-choke I have changed temporarily and you can clearly feel that it gets warm/hot on top of it. When I produce a vacuum comes gasoline and a spark is also watching at e start and kicker.. When I go to the scooter I can kick until the doctor comes. If I use the e starter I leave the ca 30 sec pressed un d all the time it comes slowly and starts. When it is on it also stays on. I can then drive without problems. The ignite candle is deer brown after a full throttle ride.. Everything is problem-free. As soon as it is on the scooter goes on hit over e starter and kick without any problems. At noon off and start driving in the evening again there is a problem there. The dipped beam, main beam and the tail light is out. However, brake light and blinker go. Someone an idea what I can test or has to do?
