  • Piaggio NRG Power DT drives too slowly – limited speed (BJ 2013)

    Hello guys, I bought a scooter a few weeks ago and completely interested in learning and mastering all technical things. At the beginning the scooter didn’t start at all, because according to the previous owner the carburetor belonged to cleaned. I cleaned, and still fought a lot to start. I also had to turn screws with carburetor for air and petrol mixture, so that the scooter starts at all and runs at approx. 2-3000 revolutions in idle. Air filter has had no previous owners, The scooter is running at about 15 degrees and back, because it’s a bit warmer (about 25 degrees), the thing is driving around 50 km/h. I have watched some videos on Youtube, and many have tried, nevertheless without success. Variomatics has no throttle, the sheet metal with the 2-3 holes between the two Hen air filter and carburettor is also not available, gas slide stop has the scooter also none, and thus I am with my Latin at the end. I am limited at approx. 6000-6500 revolutions. I thought, and still believe that electronically is limited somewhere. I then watched some videos of a green or turquoise cable has been plugged off at a plug. I wanted the same try and could not plug the thing off from plugs. So I forced the cable and my scooter didn’t start any more, obviously I soldered again, drives again, but still so slow ) At full throttle I can sometimes feel that the scooter “bumps” a little bit. I don’t do that myself, that’s what the scooter does automatically. If you could tell me some more things to try, I would be very grateful. The thing can easily open up to 9-10.000 turns. And second, it bugs me that it starts so slowly. Until I reach the 50 km/h, also takes 5 minutes I ask for suggestions.

    Hello after my 50 Honling China scooter after 8 years so slowly gives up the mind I am looking for a new one. I drive with the scooter every day 20 km simply to work, because I drive through the Frankfurt city center, would be a small agile scooter would be my favorite. My current scooter consumes just under two liters and drives great real 55 kmh so it should stay as much as possible n. Motorradführerschein available so I am not averse to more powerful scooters.   • Explorer Race GT 50 pears burn through

    Hello people, with my scooter burn the speedometer lighting, dipped light, brake light and the 2x3W glass-socket bulbs for the stand light at speeding through, in the stand the bulbs flicker when I give gas as first tacho then rear light then standing light bulbs and at the end the dipped light through. CDI, light anchor plate with pickup and voltage regulator are new .. the funny is that the fuse on the battery does not melt … now I have the light resistance in the eye 30W 5,9 Ohm … how do I measure the one with my multimeter in the jammed condition ?     Two weeks ago it started. My scooter (Nova Motors GT4) took the gas worse and worse. In the top he lost a few km/h. Finally also after very short distances. Today on the way back he suddenly jerked, as if the fuel had gone out. I stopped and did not have it. I cleaned it at home and also installed a new spark plug. The spark also came. He didn’t want to come anyway. I tried it a few times. For a moment it seemed as if he was coming. But he didn’t work on it. I tried it again with the pedal. On the third or fourth time he was stuck. Does not move a millimeter more. I suspect that the oil pump was defective and that the creepingly noticeable thing was. Or what do you think?

  • Main fuse burns after CDI change

    Good evening in the round, I bought a Benelli 49x BJ 2008 ac a few weeks ago (motor, Lima, Cdi… should correspond to that of the pepe). It is an alpha technology 25 km/h Drossel cdi installed (4pin +2pin plug, on the 2pin plug but only the black/red cable from the handlebar switch goes in). With this cdi starts the scooter and starts well (even without battery, therefore ac). Now my problem: I would like to use a 45km/h or an unrestricted cdi. Have now eight new cdi’s bought and tried (all suitable for the model according to the supplier) and with all of them, after the first e-start attempt, the 10A main fuse on the battery flies out and without a battery no spark comes. Unfortunately, I can’t get an original cdi anywhere and I don’t know what this looks like or what has to stand on it. I checked the wiring, is according to the circuit diagram. CDI and plug see picture I also have a multimeter at hand, but I’m not an expert in electrical engineering. I can measure the end of the motor by the battery about 14V, without the engine it has just over 12V. I am completely desperate. Can anyone help me, why no other cdi works? MfG
