  • Piaggio ZIP 2t always goes out

    Hello scooter screwdriver, I have a Piaggio ZIP 2t, year 96, 50 km/h. The scooter starts and runs for a short time at the stand. Then it goes out, gas-giving doesn’t help either. After that it doesn’t start again, only the next day. The spark plug is always wet after the start attempt. The scooter is still original without freezing. Have already checked or changed following things: -Zündkerze has completely cleaned sparks-gasifier – Weber 12 OM and blown through -Replacement carburettor umge I wanted to check the compression, I ordered a corresponding device. Next I would like to check the suction socket, optically it has no cracks or the membrane change (already ordered). Could it be that the Simmerrings are leaking on the crankcase or the piston rings are already worn out. For your support I would like to thank you in advance. From Monday to 3 weeks on holiday.     Hello today I have built the variomatics apart with my scooter, but unfortunately I noticed that behind the thread for the screw so with this “gear rod” on the crankshaft the beginning is about 0.75cm dirty. So that it is a little round, but the scooter goes on with Kikstarter and E starter. How can you repair it or then you have to replace the entire crankshaft?     Hey, and that’s what I bought a scooter the day before yesterday (Hercules PR5S 50cc). The seller assured me that the scooter when he got it ran what I believe it was. What the thing about it is he said he had had the long ago had built in still new battery. He might have said that it could be on the carburetor because he was told that this one had to be cleaned. Unfortunately, I have no idea about that because one might know what it is. I picked it up, of course, I thought it was because of the cold when it’s running and you stay constantly on the gas that stays on. I drove 30-40 minutes anyway it goes off. And you can hear when driving already so noises don’t know if anything is with the air.   • REX rs4500 (Capriolo): review of CDI

    REX rs4500 (Capriolo Km-Stand 4050): Checking the CDI (reduced) – very concrete question In the systematic troubleshooting (roller no longer starts) I measured the CDI with my mulitmeter. The check of all connections of the CDI went positive, except the connection mass-to-second coil, since the multimeter (adjustment to ohm measurement, ignition on/off) does not say a muck. Now to you the very concrete question, whether the ignition coil is necessarily broken and I therefore simply and then everything is good again? Or should I rather measure a bit further? a few hints: Ignition doesn’t make a kickstarter do not go dipped light, speedometer lighting and speedometer indicators no longer go but horn, brake light, flashing light and flasher work WORKSTATTREPARATUR: spark plugs and carburetors are new, as well as turn signal relays (was smeared through), ventilation hoses Vario and air filter (air filter has been cleaned) have been renewed hope , this is not too vague for a remote diagnosis, but I would be very happy about some qualitative assessments/tips. I have lost my freedom of damage class before, because I switched from car to 50cc scooter, which only had an insurance license plate. Now I have again “only” a service car and thus do not insure even a vehicle. So I threaten to lose my freedom of damage class again. For practical reasons I would like to buy a scooter again and would then a It seems to me that depending on the insurer, I can take my car damage to “motorcycle” and turn it upside down. I don’t know the whole topic so well. Unfortunately, what I have read together now looks a bit complicated at the moment. I am almost 40 years old and I have had a driving licence class B. With B196 I could now drive up to 125cc. As a “motorcycle” you have to but only insure, if you want to drive over 125cc / 11kW. But for that you need at least class A2. Which then becomes again considerably more complex than B196. I am also not necessarily keen on particularly powerful machines, but only something with which I can swim in traffic. So a 125 to 11kW would be sufficient for me. I see this right, that everything I could assure so that I can maintain the freedom of damage class, at least one A2 driver’s license? I know that you are usually happy that my machine doesn’t have to insure or admit more expensive or similar. But after the company car it would be expensive for me again, which is why I would like to find a solution to get the damage free class (with moderate effort).     Hi together, the Piaggio is about BJ 2007 with 9800 Km. The scooter was regularly maintained. The scooter has been in my possession for 14 days and has the following error.     I have bought 3 open CDI’s and had a different error each time. Now I looked at my original CDI again and am a little confused now.
