  • 50ccm Retro Roller Recommendations

Hello together, I am a mechanical engineering student from Düsseldorf and am currently working on the farewell of my Golf 4, which unfortunately did not make it through the TÜV… Since I live in the city (parking 20 minutes of my day) and have a student ticket for the train, I am currently thinking about getting a scooter. This would then accompany me to work/university (10km) and the city center on rainy days. My last regular scooter experience is now 9 years and I am not well integrated into the topic and hope that I find a few people here who can help me in my search: Minimum requirements: – max. 2000€ – 50ccm – Reliability (I don’t know what running performance is borderline for scooters, for example?) – Some screwing is ok, but no project should, but no need: – Retro-optic – Increase the top speed to 70km/h – Stowability helmet To me: – 26 years – Class B – 186 cm big Now I depend on your help and tips, which criteria I should pay attention to if necessary. I would be particularly pleased to receive direct recommendations for scooter brands/models that could fit here. 🙂 Thank you in advance and best regards.

  • Aprilia SR 50 Rally

Moin, My scooter drove very slowly already when I bought it (max 30km/h also when we removed all throttle, after which I drove about 2km with half-closed choke (have forgotten it when kicking) and I noticed that it gets even slower (because of the choke) I opened the choke completely and the scooter drove once its 50km/h. After that I cleaned the carburettor, but there was nothing clogged it was even very clean, air filters are clean gasoline and oil filter was After 2 weeks of standstill, the scooter drives max 40km/h and takes a little bit of time 2-3sec when starting it is still faster than the first time. What could this be? The carburetor is clean as well as the nozzles, clean filters are also mounted. Mfg Ramazan

  • Commuter roller searched (40km)

Moin moin, I am currently looking for a 125 scooter to commute to work. I live in Hamburg and work in the city, which is increasingly stuffed with local parking spaces and thus lacks any possibility to move my car without juicy rolls. The positive is, my employer has a yard on which I could easily park the scooter. I had to buy an e-bike in between, but that would take 55 minutes per track, detours bed Public transport is also not an option, as this would make me travel for 1 hour and 10 minutes. It is 20km per trip, the consideration was also to look for a 50’s scooter, but I would also have to drive detours here and avoid the 80’s expressway. I am absolutely layman and can therefore make little myself. I am looking for a robust vehicle that runs stable and reliable. My budget is currently limited to 140/150€, so I’m looking for something used. I’m going to drive in all seasons, I think I’m going to put on a apron for my legs in winter on the recommendation of a friend, you can also give me further recommendations for the winter. I thank you very much in advance and hope for some tips, maybe even randomly on ads on eBay K leinanzeigen und Co. Best regards, Thomas.

  • Winter tyres – old topic – new products – opinion

Hello together, since I need new tyres on one of my scooters so slowly and the winter is in sight, I looked around in the www, among others e-bay and discovered an unknown brand. It is the tire from the manufacturer Anlas with the type designation SC-500 Wintergrip 2. Price is the so about the 30,- Euro incl. shipping with various dealers. Think to me to buy the as replacement for the K58 M+S – not because of the price, but because the K58 simply at higher temperature raturen is less good (lubricated) and when wet (curves) is not so great and is also very loud and uncomfortable. In addition, the fast (about 6,000km on the sloping Beluga on the rear wheel) was down. The Anlas is supposed to be easy to ride all year round and I also have no desire to change the wheels after the winter. A tyre dealer writes … e.g. Hot Cold Professional: Whether snowy or wet roads or 30 degrees in the shade – the brand new Anlas Wintergrip 2 is the winter tauglic he scooter tires for the whole year. He is the successor to the successful “MB-458 Wintergrip” and replaces it. The Wintergrip 2 combines all the characteristics of an absolutely reliable winter tire with those of an everyday suitable summer tire, which also masters high temperatures and therefore does not have to be changed in the spring. What is the opinion of the forum about this? Someone already experiences? Would I be happy to hear about it. Thanks and for all good driving. öne Jroß

  • Purchase advice Scooter

Hello dear community, after a long abstinence I plan to buy a scooter again. Due to the death of the father-in-law of a good friend, I am currently offered the following scooter for purchase: Honda RSH 125, built in 2001, KM-Stand 18.500. The TÜV has expired since 04.2018, purely optically the scooter makes a good impression on me, whereby I have seen only photos so far. Now to my question: Can one tell me what a fair price for the scooter is? At Mobile.de vary the prices of 390,00 – 1.200,00 EUR. My friend would like to 600 EUR. Is that all right? On the one hand I do not want to pay an overpriced price, on the other hand my acquaintances do not bump in the head. I hope for your qualified assistance.

  • Experience with Flex Tech Roller

Hello, I bought a new Flex Tech X2 scooter on 8.8.2008. I went straight home with the thing. The next day I wanted to go to work with it….. and look, he didn’t jump on. So dealer notified, he came and picked it up. Carburettor ripped. That was then the beginning of a wonderful relationship between my scooter, my dealer and the company Flex Tech. A few days later something started to grind on the front wheel. Had to get back to my dealer, because the The speed of my scooter was always about 4000. was adjusted as well. When I wanted to get my scooter back, I came up with exactly two rakes. He went out and didn’t jump again. Dealer called, turned at the speed. Then he didn’t come down from the 4000. Then he started to stop and while driving a car. The dealer could not repair it. Had several pitiful attempts to pick up the scooter. He then stood almost all December at the dealer. So we started to negotiate with the company Flex Tech, because of exchange. They wanted to exchange the complete Elekronik, light mesh and so far. Meanwhile, I had changed the third carburettor, the fifth or sixth membrane inside. So then again to the dealer, Elektick. Except that he could go out. If he doesn’t go out at a red traffic light, he does that at the latest at the gas. Now I have the company Flex Tech as far as they want to exchange the scooter for me, but only in one used, because I could drive with mine from time to time. If I want a new scooter, I have to pay a mileage fee of about 400€ on it. . […]. Not only that I have a lot of trouble with the slingshot, often only came to work on the last pusher […] […] Greetings angied01 [parts of this post were removed from MOTOR-TALK]

  • Aprilia SR 50 does not start

Hello first the history. I bought a Aprilia SR 50 Bj. 2000 very cheaply with air-cooled, lying Minarelli engine. The scooter had a piston eater. The reason was that the needle bearing has disassembled and a part of it has eaten between the piston and cylinder. It was then tried so often to start that the starter freewheel also broke. What I noticed later. I have now installed a different cylinder, piston and bearing. the engine started. It also started very normal for a short time. After 20 sec (more or less) it went out again, and now I can’t get it started. Zündfunke is there. What surprises me, that it doesn’t light with starter spray. I had already thought of a defective CDI. I changed the one for a new one, still the same. I also made ASS new. The only thing that isn’t new is the carburetor and the ignition coil. But even if the carburetor was defective, then I have to But get it with starter spray at least for a short time. But apart from a few false ignitions nothing moves. Has possibly any idea what I could still do. The scooter still gets me done Achja, I even looked again (with Endoscope) the piston is properly installed (arrow down)

  • Gaserver ice; does it have the same process when injecting?

‘N evening, simple question, see title. So it aims, so the question in the title, to clarify for lay people, whether injection systems are capable of the same or similar symptoms as they occur in a gas server ice cream? mfg Wauhoo
