Hello together, my Yamaha Neos 1999, 2 beat air cooler Minarelli engine lying, do not start, after cylinder change. After a piston eater, the cylinder, piston (arrow to outlet) and cylinder head was changed. KW bearing and Simmeringe, I have replaced, as well as a new membrane block. Before the scooter ran, 25000km. Compression is at 9+ bar, spark is available, petrol also comes (gasifier cleaned), candle is slightly wet. Several candles tasted. Manual Cho ke is drawn. Help spray in the air filter, does not start, petrol in the cylinder also not, not even for a short time. I also tried other candle plugs and ignition coil. He just doesn’t want to start any more. What did I miss or did wrong?

Cold start behavior suboptimal ?
I bought the Otello again at the end of 2020 and approved it in 2020. In 2021, out of hibernation, unscathed start and with the first attempt on engine. But now there is somehow the “smooth” worm in it. Cold start no matter if a day etc. later, well one to two minutes after ignition, the whole thing rolls loosely 5-6 seconds until then the engine is on. Had this addressed with the 1000s review with Roller-Scholz “is normal can take quite up to 20 seconds”. e candle out … with photos. Have also installed an iridium from the same manufacturer (electrode distance checked), but nothing has changed. It’s all original, the scooter currently has 1100km down … so what do or do ? Write to Leeb or not at Roller-Scholz but somewhere else? I don’t think the 5-6 seconds are ok. If engine is warm then click and engine is on. Thx wegomyway

Vespa 50n rotary pushers?
Vespa 50n 1971er actually has a rotary pusher? Or? My knowledge and probably also the workshop. I just got a call for help, from a pretty young woman (of course old bag wants to help) that the workshop doesn’t do anything, because so was not built and said that is not the rotary pusher installed, but a membrane. What it probably is that the machine is not running anymore or just sporadic. Before I go to work Friday and will watch the live e i like to ask… Were there conversion kits?

Variomatik Speed Sensor – how does it work?
I drive a Benzhou YY50QT-31 with 4-stroke 139QMB engine. A 10 cm long nail (!!! beware of your neighbor) in the rear tire forced me to screw on my scooter the other day. When washing off I also opened the Variomatik lid… and found no ring on the Variomuff. Well, then I tracked the cable from the speed sensor and found a plug connection on the way to CDI, for example under the carburetor. After I released this not much happened as long as the scooter was on the main stand . During the ride I noticed that the engine reached at low speeds (30-40 km/h) about 6000 rpm. But then on a flat road it pulled up to 60 km/h at about 6500 rpm. Can anyone explain that to me? The CDI-Rossel is in!

Acceptable speed uphill or broken?
Hello everybody, I’ve been in the circle of motorized drivers since today, and I’ve gained a 45kmh scooter (China scooter, AGM GMX450, 2.8hp 4T). But the joy lasted only briefly, because after about 100m the thing on the mountain initially lost speed and then went out completely after about 3s. Well, not so bad, I have guarantee. Now, however, the question arises which speed should reach such a four-stroke scooter uphill still if it function properly. rt? So when should I accept it as “repaired”? I weigh about 75kg and live in the Odenwald, so here it is quite steep (unfortunately there is no sign with the slope). On the bike I only get the path in the 1st or 2nd gear and with properly sweating high. I would be happy if someone could give me such a rough assessment because I don’t know about scooters or motorcycles at all.

Minus degrees – hot running for how long?
Hello together, who drives with his scooter in winter? That’s a small question. Today I had a discussion, that I should run a 2 bar scooter at minus degrees at least 2 minutes even up to 5 minutes. Warm running, so to speak. I don’t do that until then. I start my scooter, wait for the speed to level up and go. I always had a 4 bar scooter in winter until now. It didn’t matter. Is that not okay with 2 clocks anymore?

Yamaha Majesty 125 no longer works
Hello everybody! my father-in-law in Spe just went out after a freeway ride. No loud noises, nothing special happens. Taken off, wanted to go on and he said goodbye. I offered him to take care of the problem, but unfortunately I can’t get any further. To the symptoms: the starter doesn’t turn. You hear a relay clack, sometimes you hear it turn around 5°, but nothing else. So it seems a bit blocked to s A. What I’ve done so far: Variomatics completely disassembled. So cover left off, clutch taken apart, behind the starter freewheel also removed and the motor turned by hand with the ratchet. Both with the whole mechanism from the clutch to the starter freewheel, as well as without the parts. Result: – Motor can be rotated by hand with tool, but for my feeling quite difficult. No difference whether the freewheel and the clutch are in it od it doesn’t. Since nothing else hangs on the shaft after taking apart, I assume that the engine blocks 🙁 – Starter turns as soon as I have the Vario outside and just the close of force between starter and engine falls away. So it’s obviously not on it. Does anyone else have any ideas/thoughts about what it might be, if not on the engine itself? I didn’t expand the flywheel on the opposite side, because I don’t think that behind it something blocki Or am I wrong with the assumption? It is still striking that the starter – already for years – spins every now and then. This means that he sometimes does not react for over a minute, until he can then be persuaded to fold. After that he always started as usual. Since he gave up the scooter during the ride, I guess there is no connection here, but I did not want to leave it unmentioned here. Next step would still be to remove the cylinder head and sha uen, whether there are bars or anything in the cylinder. Are there any tricks to save yourself, except to measure the compression during dudging? I am grateful for every tip! Think the father of my girlfriend would be very happy if the bowl is running again 🙂

Turn signal do not flash when light is switched on
Hello all, I bought a 2001 Yamaha Maxster with 7500 km, the vehicle is in perfect condition and has no accident or overturning damage, which is not commonplace with such old vehicles. The reason for my purchase was primarily nostalgia, because I had a scooter with the middle of 20 times, but as MBK Thunder, which is identical to the construction. I am now putting the vehicle back into a “new vehicle-like” condition, which is mainly based on z So pure hobby I noticed the following peculiarity: motor is off, ignition is on: when light is off or stationary light is on: flasher flashes normal. When you turn on dipped-beam (or also driving-beam): flasher remains dark dipped-beam again: flasher flashes normal again. engine is running: everything is normal. I noticed today that the same effect occurred after starting, as with “engine off”. After I have ever I’ve already asked a few people, answers were “there’s something wrong…———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— ustand is so not normal and somewhere a little thing is not right, and if it is actually a mass problem, wherever.
