  • defective actuator central locking, ZV for sliding door does not work

Hello, with my Voyager RG, BJ 2005, the central locking for the sliding door does not work. It only jerks up briefly, but does not lock. After the removal of the internal cladding and the removal of the complete locking mechanism, I found the causer. The actuator ruptures only briefly, at the voltage input I can measure approx. 12V. I then disassembled the part, it was all smooth and well greased. The drive motor turns with system of 12V with reduced power and can therefore On the engine is the following “Mabuchi FC-280PT-20150”. (Original Made in Vietnam) Where do I get the engine, maybe one has a tip? I would also take the actuator completely with the housing. I called Conrad, nix. At ebay they stand at Hauf (USA, Canada), but no shipping to Germany. The parts cost so about 3,00$ depending on the quantity, plus postage. http://www.ebay.com/…/110606792845#shId At Chrysler there is unfortunately no problem. r the complete lock, for only 200,00 Euro, without assembly. It would be great if one or one would sign up. Greetings Holger

  • some questions about Voygager

Good day first time in the round. Thought times report me here to the group here. Although I have been there for a long time already with different cars in the forum. But currently I have now two cars. Once an Opel calibra bj 96 with 116 ps. And then another Chrysler Voyager with 115 ps 2.5 liters engine Diesel BJ 98. The car is also in very well maintained to stand up to light flue rust on the underfloor so far in very good condition. Couple of small things he has where I l eider not yet know so well. As for example with the speakers of the Amatuiren board is sometimes over so white the in the driver’s door. And since I still have no idea how to change there exactly what. Also the equipment still has some wish open there is missing for the first of the on-board computer and still some lighting in the roof sky then still missing some can holders and since I also have no idea if you can change that so easily. Then I would have there also ask about the m otor. The previous owner said that the engine would have neither chain nor timing belts. But gears that interlocked and so earlier the engine had up to 500,000km guaranteed. Who very intersant whether I could help there who further because still I am unfortunately with the car pulling in new country. So in large and whole the car is in very well maintained condition lots of parts have already been repaired by the previous owner on a specialist workshop plus service. According to information from the predecessor the car was also already ppar years ago at the show on the country. Since I live in Austria it is something different from us in Germany. But who really nice if I could give me some tips or help. Also on the subject underfloor protection vileicht because in the case has nothing at the bottom but so much reason paint.

  • Oil control light burns and chips in the oil tank at 2.8 CRD

We bought a used “Grand Voyager” 2.8 CRD LTD from BJ. 2007 with about 165,000km. In addition to a new brake (dishes and blocks) we had the timing belt changed and made an oil change at ATU. The oil change was a “jubilee offer” from ATU, 30 years ATU, oil change incl. filter € 29.90 – so unbeatablely favorable. When we went “on track” for the time after the oil change, suddenly the ro I immediately switched off the engine and checked the oil level with the rod, with the result that there was absolutely sufficient oil! Since the lamp also started again, we started off from an electrical problem and continued driving – you know that with the American models… When accelerating and uphill the lamp went on, downhill and when braking the lamp went off… Unusual noises the engine also has nic I have asked my workshop to find and stop the mistake, since I would like to leave myself on my warning lights. In the Wekstatt the oil pan has been removed to agree and exclude that the sieve is stuffed. Thereby several metal chips were found in the oil pan – partly “turned up” as with a lathe. I have not moved the car since then and I have requested an expert to give it to me. r is supposed to find out where the chips come from. Does anyone have experience with metal chips in the oil pan and where they might come from? Thanks for every answer… Greeting from Hamburg

  • Voyager GS Don’t jump on….

Hello dear Chrysler municipality, a well-known one has the following problem: he drove with his Voyager quite normally and suddenly he went out and didn’t jump any more. after a few days they towed him and tried to tow him in the 2 aisles, whereupon the dare probably sprang at some point, but ran very restless. when parking the vehicle in front of the front door my friend noticed that the KAT glows. now my question, someone knows the problem or has some approach where I can look which is the mistake. I only know myself with OPEL symptoms from so I stand a bit at a loss. Dear greetings and happy holidays to all of you. Greeting doerkel

  • Battery Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD, 2008 (or 2009)

Hello, I have repeatedly landed in this forum during the googling and have read that very, very many sufferers suffer from the weak battery at Voyager. My wife is just before the madness, because it is simply no longer fun to drive such a terribly unreliable car. The workshop also does nothing else than sell us a new battery every year but it doesn’t get any better itself. Now my question: Who has NO problems with the battery? So who has a Voyager, which also starts in winter after a few days of service life without any problems? Is this possible at all and if so, which battery have you built in? I always read about the yellow mopar. Only before I buy it (and which exactly is that?), I would like to know if this is the way to happiness (here: starting car also in winter). Thanks for your help, M. P.S. I don’t want to incite a fundamental discussion here, but I find it incredible how Chrysler cars in The Voyager is a great car: looks great, a lot of space, inexpensive, nice details, … But how often the car was already in the workshop and nobody knew what it was about is incredible! If I hadn’t had this 5-star guarantee, the car would have ruined me! BTW: I don’t even know which workshop I should go to. Mercedes doesn’t do it anymore (but I didn’t get the impression that the car was not there anyway). and with me in the corner there is nothing else! Maybe someone else has a tip to a good dealer in the Oberhausen area? Well – but first of all please give a hint for the battery 😉 Thank you!

  • Chrysler PT 2.4 cooks over

Tomorrow. Have a question and that’s that car from my neighbor cooks at the cooler over. Exhaust does not smoke. No oil in the water. No water in the oil. Spark plugs are dry. Engine jumps well however it is standing hot and water boils over. The workshop has taken off the lid at the cooler to see if water flows through. Because of water pump but water is pumped. The workshop says that the ZKD is defective. What do you think it might be due to defective thermostat because the hose from the kü ohler cold stays and the dare cooks over . Thanks for all the answers.

  • Voyager acquisition

Hello, I would like to get the Voyager watching the pictures. Unfortunately the dealer is not there over the weekend and I only know a few small details like BJ 04.2000, petrol 2,4l and 150 HP. Can you tell me from this information what this model is GS or SE? Then there is the question about the Euro standard, I get for the one green badge, there are so many different things on the net. Thank you for your help!

  • Battery with Voyager IV (RG, RS) 2.5 CRD, Bj 01 itself?

Hello, it seems as if the battery at our CHRYSLER VOYAGER IV (RG, RS) 2.5 CRD has given up the mind. On the start there is only a “knock” in the battery area, otherwise nothing does. I will now after I have got a measuring device to check if the battery is really too weak or completely empty the battery is probably replace. Currently is an about 1 1/2 year old “Exide Excell EB741 680A built in. Eiin Mechanischer once at my previous Chrysler Grand Voyager ( BJ 96) said that I could not change the battery myself, because if you would interrupt the power supply, all electronics would be paralyzed and nothing would go on at all. You would always have to “bridge” this between time when switching, so that the power supply is not or only very short. Question, can this really be, and can I not get quite stinkingly the same battery and simply change it? Or do I really have to put the Voyager into a factory for this purpose. te?

  • Advice on Chrysler Town & Country, 3.8L with LPG

Hello, due to family growth on now a total of 3 small people and 2 big people our Mondeo MK3 is unfortunately too small. I hit a Chrysler Town&Country, Bj.97, 3.8L with approx. 200tkm, gas system, same construction with a Voyager with us. Since I also drive a lot of distance I had a diesel so far, but would like to switch to a gasser. The question that arises to me: Town&Country is the US brand. If this is such a US import, wo do I have to import (let) parts like brake blocks and discs, oil filters, air filters and so on from the USA? Or do the Voyager spare parts (they even have a registration for this car then)? It does not bring me much, if I get such a car cheaply, but then for spare parts, which at the age and Km-stand inevitably have to pay off a fortune. In addition, I would be interested if the With my Mondeo I have done everything myself like LiMa, V-belts, brakes, etc. What does this look like with the Chryslers? Thank you for your help! Greeting Tobias

  • Voyager with manual transmission: change manual trains

Happy day of the unit, together! Today (fortunately only in the home parking lot) the head of a shift train consisting of plastic has broken off. Now I have the following two questions: 1. Can you only replace this head? I would not like to change the whole trains because of such a lappalie, but unfortunately did not find this Köppe to buy. 2. If I have to change the trains now, how do I proceed? My repair instructions cover everything, nu r just not manual transmission (gips in Amiland not known ) Has someone ever done this themselves? My Voyi is BJ 2000, GS with 2.4-litre gasoline and (as I said) manual transmission, the older model with drum brakes at the rear (kA, whether they also differ in gear technology). Man knows that someone comes up with the idea of pouring these pods out of plastic, doesn’t go into Kopp…
