  • Change gear oil K11 BJ 98

Hello everyone, I have a Micra k11 and would like to change the transmission oil. On the internet I have read everywhere that the oil is refilled via the opening for the speedometer shaft. I had the car standing on the pit today and I think that this is not the case with my transmission or I don’t find the opening. Can it be that for the model different transmissions have been installed? In the book it is made in any case different. Engine is 1.0 with 54 hp. On my G I will also attach some photos to you. Is the drain screw the one on the side and the one on the front side to fill in? Or is the drain screw under the lid that is secured with a cross screw?

  • No liquid in the refrigerated water balance tank

In my Nissan Note (2013) I have checked all liquids today and found that (in case of a parked cold engine) there is no liquid in the cooling water balance tank. In the cooler the liquid stands up to the upper edge. Is that ok or do I have to worry (over 70 years old pensioner)? Thank you very much in advance.

  • Problem Kat/ Lambda probes

Hello, a month ago I bought a used K12 Built. 2007, automatic, retired vehicle with 27,000 km. After two weeks the car partly did not accelerate at all, when I pressed the accelerator pedal, partly nothing happened, and from time to time it started to jerk at the traffic light. Engine control light went on. Error code: P0132, heated oxygen sensor 1 bank 1. Diagnosis in the Nissan workshop: Lambda probes and allegedly Kat defective —> Estimate 2.90€. I replaced the Lambda probe in front of Kat yesterday (by one of Bosch) and deleted the error code. As a result, the problems were reduced, but the engine control light went on again after a few kilometers, now the first error code was added to P0138 (heated oxygen sensor 2). In addition, the fuel consumption with 9-10 liters is still too high. The values of the Lambda probe 1 look normal, though, don’t you think? (have a screenshot attached while driving). Can it be that the new Bosch probe doesn’t work together with the Lambda after Kat? How would you proceed? Would you now switch the Lambda to Kat. Can I take a cheap one or should I take one from Bosch now? If the error codes don’t disappear afterwards – would you install a new cat? I’ve read, it can also be on the LMM. Just catch a n with the screws on cars and I am grateful for every tip

  • Recurring squeaking: Cause of noise after V-belt changes?

Hello community! I drive a Nissan Micra K12 from 2006, which already has 150,000 kilometers on the speedometer. I own this car for four years. In recent months I had some problems for which I have renewed the following parts: the left wheel bearing was replaced, new tires were installed, the right crossbar was replaced and last I changed the V-belt. I changed the V-belt because it made occasional noises and the old already But now I have the following problem: For a week the car ran great, without noises and very quiet – finally. But suddenly, whenever I start the engine cold, it started to squeak. The sound comes back from the right side. At first I thought the mechanic had installed the V-belt incorrectly, but I’m not sure. I sent him a video and he said it could be the wheels. If I give gas, the noise will be faster. Yesterday l Two days ago I drove about 30 minutes, then took a short break, and after the second reboot the sound disappeared. But after the third start it was back. I’m a bit confused. What do you think the problem might be? Video: https://youtube.com/shorts/fGIcJ89SWHs?feature=share

  • NISSAN MICRA K12 control chain

I bought a new K12 EZ 03/2003 and always praised it 100000km and recommended it further. For a long time he went out after starting and jumped again and ran perfectly, that went about one3/4 year until the indicator (yellow engine) engine malfunction lit up and no longer went out.The death of the engine became more and more common and he jumped increasingly worse.I drove into the workshop to have the error read out.The reading said Einspitzzeitpunk falsc h.I thought of a sensor that does not work perfectly. When the Wekstatt informed me after a short time that it is most likely the control chain, I got a shock because I knew the effort about. The next day the Wekstatt had the costs overturned 1300EUR +VAT are 1500EUR.The car had 108,000Km on it and was 31/2years old shortly after the guarantee. Now the bill 1600EUR chain tensioner had entered and the chain has hanged. The workshop writes a However, I have little hope for this. Question: who has a K12 from the first series Baj.2003 with more than 100000Km with the same synthesizers or the same repair costs

  • Brake fixed after brake change at the VA

Hello Have a problem regarding the brake VA on a K12 (Bj. 08, 88Tkm). Changed discs + pads. Parts from the accessories, but not cheap China scrap. When changing everything was neatly disassembled, cleaned, cleaned and the new parts are fitted with brake paste again. Brake pistons have been reset with appropriate tools and also went back without any problems. Brake piston cuffs are without any damage, which is why I exclude rust. Now the symptoms: If the brake is cold both wheels are free and turn perfectly. After a short ride you notice quite quickly that the brake is making more and more and does not solve it. The longer you drive the worse it gets. Directly after the ride the brake is fixed. Both wheels can no longer be turned! What we have already tried: – entire brake system is tested on damage and leakages, without being able to rule out any recognisable parts – to the same time again.

  • Nissan Micra k12 problems

Good day dear community, I have a question. Two months ago Nissan Micra k12 broke the rear wheel bearings. We changed them and immediately after a month the rear left one broke again. Then I had it changed again. I have to say that where the wheel bearings were broken, the car was really very loud, it always started slowly with the noise and became louder. Now comes again the same noise as it always starts. I want to ask now on the Internet, because I really don’t know myself with cars. Can it really be that every time the wheel bearings break or could there be another reason. I ask for help. Here are the wheel bearings that I ordered, it can also be that there are no quality – wheel bearings? http://www.kfzteile24.de/index.cgi?… I thank you already MfG

  • Camshaft position sensor Micra k12

Hi, driving a Nissan k12 bj. 05. 2004 with 65ps. A month ago the motor bikes started. Error code camshaft Positinssensor P040 was that I think. Date he wants to measure through any times, check wiring, chain on length according to marking, etc. Supposedly lauft that is on a hooked chain!! So here in the forum in the SUF I can read, that the affected car usually went out during the ride, bad went, the engine was restless. With me is not of that. The car lauft Perfect, never went out, always goes great. Mornings event. until loud, but that gives itself after a few driven kilometers. It also write which the crankshaft sensor could be defective, but it would be quite noticeable and with me is nothing of the car I had bought before the car, but had had to have bought it before the same thing.

  • Micra K13 – Funny sound immediately after launch

Hello, the Micra (80 hp) of my girlfriend is now about 5 months old and has about 4500 km on the clock. Since yesterday he makes a funny noise shortly after the cold start. Immediately after the cold start, when the ignition key is released again, it squeaks briefly (about half a second) from the engine room. It sounds as if the V-belt squeaks. When the engine runs about a minute and restarts again, the squeaking no longer occurs. What could that be? Starter, V-belt or or or? Greeting sia-freak
