Please for help!! The 2.2 liter diesel, 116Ps are produced in the 1st/3rd/5th gear while driving sounds like a tramway. It sounds a bit grinding howling… in the 2nd gear it’s not much to hear in the 4th gear at all!! The friendly dealer knows nothing without intensive search right away. Does anyone have ideas where the problem might lie??

Coupling change Material costs 2000 Euro?
Hello community, in advance, I have little idea of cars. I live in Mallorca and have also bought a “domestic” Opel Frontera DTI 16V (RS) with 85 KW, 3 Türer Sport, built on 20.7.1999. Now the clutch is due. My workshop thinks to me that the spare parts alone would cost about 2000 Euro. Did I tell me something (I didn’t really understand) that you have to change not only the gearbox, but also a part between the engine and transmission. demand help? Bzw. where can I buy the required spare parts in D?

Opel warranty is gone!!!
Moin the following problem. I’ve had the familiar problem with the abs sensor for 3 weeks (for the second time. First time was in front and now in the back). I just drove to Opel and said that the abs sensor was defective again and could please take care of it. My FOH meant “no” or you paid it 100% yourself! I asked for why? That meant that I was out of the warranty. I asked again why??? I would not have done an inspection for a year. And that’s when I said that I And if I have something like rust on the tailgate or abs sensor or the fall at the front right and above all the high consumption will never be done without discussing it every time. I mean at the time with my A3 was not like that. Car broken= repair over warranty and that without yes no… I’m really excited about Antara the car can be driven well but this constant light game in the tacho doesn’t have to be. Hope that car now rides without major damage because otherwise I am at the Ars… Hope that you have more luck with your Antara and the workshop. So much money paid and I can not drive in peace and pray that nothing breaks!!!

Newbie Opel Antara
Hello everyone, despite all negative reviews I bought 2 weeks ago a Opel Antara Cosmo 2.0 CDTI, year ́07, automatic, 150 hp. I have to say that I am very excited about the vehicle ! Well, I had a Opel Meriva before, you don’t have to say much anymore……… As far as consumption is concerned, I have to say that I am under 10 liters. I have now handled 2 full tank loads and did not handle the gas very gently 🙂 on the BC, 705 KM track indicated. I drove up to the light up of the tank lamp 670 KM and then refueled 53 liters. I think that I can still undercut this value if the Neulust has vanished and adapted to the driving style. I have read that you can achieve even better values in consumption and performance with a chip tuning. Do you have good experiences there? There are already tuning chips for self-assembly at ebay for 150 euros. Is this crap or are these Te and if you decide to install such a chip is not bad for the engine? After all, the engine has been driven like this for 5 years now.

General questions about the Frontera
Hello, I’ve been looking into the frontera at the moment and want to get rid of my BMW as soon as I get rid of one, since I also have some technical questions I don’t put my Theard in the category “purchase advice” First question, why does the 2.2i have more horsepower than 2.4. and means that the 2.2 has more power? how satisfied are you with your cars? of 10,000Km I drive 3,500 motorway, how good or bad is that for the frontera (let me say it’s not a highway car.) I have to calculate real consumption in a city like Hamburg? Grad in Hamburg it is sometimes important to come quickly from 0-50Kmh, is it recommended since the 2.2 or 2.4i at all? to the 2.2i I have read which should have some diseases. OR the 3.2? That is more expensive in insurance and certainly also more important in tax but is the difference in consumption to 2.2 or 2.4. and accelerates the even more palpable? Since the prices are so damn low thinking i ch when I buy a frontera to have a Prins-Gass system installed, what do you think about it? How much more horsepower is working from the engine through light tuning, such as getting a better air filter?(without damaging the engine) What do I have to pay attention to when buying?I would drive a car workshop near the seller with the car, but the car mechatronics sometimes look different. What should you point out to him? I want to have him. How do you find him? Visually new like I want that, nice high and fat wheels http://suchen.mobile.de/…/162392203.html Or rather http://home.mobile.de/AUTOhandlerOSTOCK#des_161538013 Jo, would be happy if you give your mustard to it. Greetings from Hamburg

Cracks at the front Left while turning in and bottom shaft….
Hi, I know that there are threads that have to do with poltern and similar on the front axle but unfortunately this is not really my problem. My Antara 8/2009 with 19TKM sometimes has a slight crack when driving at the front left, but only when it steers to the right, so the left front wheel gets the spring load when springing and I drive a bottom shaft or similar slowly. Now the coupling rod and the stabi was examined with the FOH but nothing at defects found. My FOH meant just keep driving and if it gets worse then again. Somehow I can’t really accept it because he does the ONLY front left, on the right you don’t hear anything, although not every time it gets annoying right! Now it was -8° this morning with us and there he made it stronger, so in cold it’s probably more common to hear, but can also be that you can’t provoke it, then again he does it again, it’s definitely ONLY when I “la ngsam” to the right and there is a floor wave then he makes it funny, but sometimes he doesn’t. Now my theory tells me that either a rubber or the cathedral camp or whatever at the damper might cause that. Do you have an idea what I could try myself? Since he doesn’t have the problem on the right, but all the coupling bars and rods are purely externally in order and firmly it is close that it is a rubber or something in the direction. Who has an idea?

Request for purchase advice Antara Diesel
Hello Antara municipality. Last year I sold my Antara V6 built in 2007 and bought a Cross Touran. The trigger for my decision was the rising gasoline price and the fear-making of my Opel dealer that the V6 has a pathological length of the control chain and can lead to total engine damage. Then the eternal problem with the ignition lock because the Automatic did not release the key. Furthermore, there is no Opel gas system for the V6, only a foreign vehicle. rikat wherewith the issue of warranty starts. If something breaks it will certainly be pushed by the gas system builder to Opel and vice versa and the consumer remains at his expense. It always is like that. But somehow I don’t get rid of the Antara, is a nice car and really does something. Now my question: I could get an Antara Diesel 150 hp with Automatic to a really good course with full equipment. Is built July 2009. Opel has the Traege automatic now in the Gr if and can you drive the diesel now with 10 liters and you have the starting weakness now under control ?? For answers I would be very grateful. And please no saying about SUFU. Sincerely Rumburak

Antara and automatic transmissions
First of all, the automatic transmission of the FL-Antara switches perfectly and without any rebuke. I had a veritable oil loss on the gearbox in the first three months. If I want to switch now by hand, then I notice, for example, that the 6th gear can only be inserted with approx. 90-100 km. Is this also so with your vehicle? I am less technically averaged, however, I ask if this should not be possible at a lower speed, so that you can spri Is this technically, or really depending on the speed, or could even be associated with the former oil loss ? Thank you very much for your feedback.

Diesel consumption of the FL Antara
Good day. Even with a very consciously tame ride in eco mode, my new Antara needs 10.3 liters of diesel at the moment on 100 km. I have to notice, however, that 50% of my daily rides are in hilly areas. It is not possible to drive even more carefully, otherwise I will become a traffic obstacle. My sold Peugeot 2.7 V6 HDI only swallowed 8.5 liters on the same routes with a racy ride. Is the consumption reduced with increasing mileage? What experiences have you made with the new 2.2 diesel in terms of consumption so far? Is your Antara also a sip woodpecker? I am already aware that one can not compare rides in lowland with rides in hilly and mountainous area. Nevertheless, 10.3 liters diesel I find extremely much for an apparently newly developed diesel engine.
