  • Antara with AHK and Checkcontrol??!!

Hello Antara-Cruiser! Have since Monday an Antara 2.0cdti Cosmo with DVD100 etc. and a hanger coupling attached by the FOH (since it supposedly doesn’t work??!!)!! I drove a Zfira(B) Cosmo with DVD90 and AHK until Monday and the on-board computer has monitored the lights of the trailer via Checkcontrol! Now the installer has told me that the Antara would not use this cable harness, which came over very unsafe!!! Therefore the question: Will your hanging lights over d on board computer monitored??? Greetings Bernd

  • Inspection interval and oil change!

Hello guys! Somehow I can’t quite believe it. Or did I maybe read it wrong? Is the oil change on the Antara Diesel actually 1 time a year and/or every 30,000 km? I have such a bad feeling, since I was used to performing an oil change every 15,000 km so far. Greetings, Harald

  • Deficiencies Antara

Hello Have now since the 30.11.08 an Antara 2.0 diesel in Cosmo with heater and everything that belongs to it. With this car I really like the Schn….. Be true to the car he 8 X in the factory city and stay regularly. ( Power loss; high diesel consumption 16 liters on the highway and 14 liters in the city, window lifter, tailgate, Navi- DVD 100, suspension and so on. I am about the procedure leise of OPEL and my dealer stocksa. my conclusion is never again OPEL and certainly no more Antara.

  • Engine problems

Hi ANTARA friends, I have my Antara V6 at the moment in the workshop with the following problem. The automatic switch no longer properly up or down, the fault engine is indicated. The experts have already changed the control unit (Black Box ) twice, but the problem is still present. Now the technicians from my workshop are overwhelmed with this and want to contact the plant in Rüsselsheim on Tuesday, as this error with Opel no The car has been in the workshop for three days now. I would like to know if anyone from you has any advice or perhaps knows this problem? Happy Easter and thank you very much for your answer. Greetings to all

  • Bye Antara

Dear Forum Members Thank you for your support and information! I have exchanged my Antara with the dealer! The vehicle is, according to my feelings, absolutely uneconomical and qualitatively bad. The many defects and leaks which were described here in the forum I had 80% also with my. The diesel consumption of 9-11 liters of absolute joy killer!! I now have a Vivaro life 2.5CDTi and it needs on average 7.5 to 8.5 liters. I find that OK and very int The CW value is just as shitty and in weight the big one is even 200kg heavier, for this I now have a vehicle which can be needed for everything! Thanks again to all for your information and those who are happy with the Antara continue to have a lot of fun with the actually optical and confortable Antara!

  • Antara trailer coupling assembly

First a good day to all Bin actually since yesterday proud owner of an Antara Cosmo black with circuit 2.0 CDTI. Since afterwards a trailer coupling (to pull to WW ) was attached, I have a few questions about it. Must the bumper to be cut out. My dealer tells me that AHK assembled from factory are different than after mounted. Anyway they have made a huge cutout with the jigsaw inside. Looks totally ugly. I couldn’t even check what’s on the back side of the socket (tilting lamp. Continuous current ect. ). After I moored all this, the master said he would order a new rear apron and I should leave the car still there. Great Unfortunately, I couldn’t look at any other Antara with AHK in the short time. Maybe one of you can give me an info.

  • Automatic air conditioning

Hello together, I need your help/experience regarding the adjustment of the climate automation. I pressed the buttons AUTO and KLIMA; temperature at about 22°C. In the morning at 10°C outside temperature warm air flows to the feet (they cook then slowly) and lukewarm air from the middle nozzles. At the upper nozzles (windshield) cold air flows out. If the car was in the sun, then it blows like crazy the cold air from the middle nozzles, but none from the footroom. H me no bronchitis, but still have hot feet ;-). From my Vectra GTC or Astra H I have been used to putting the ventilation on FEEDS/SCHEIBE and 22°C. The interior was thus indirectly, thus without direct body irradiation strongly cooled down. Then the blower dropped again automatically. If I am in the Antara on FEEDS/SCHEIBE I have to adjust the strength of the blower (1-4) continuously in addition to the temperature. But that can’t be the sense of the r be automatic air conditioning, right? (current climate update from April is on) What are your experiences? Or can you please set pictures of how you have set the climate control. Thank you for your help.

  • Antara 2.4i-How high is the C02 Austoss-What about the turning circle?

Hello, at the moment I am thinking about buying an Opel Antara 2.4i gasoline model year 2008. The 2.4i makes more sense to me personally than the diesel, and is enough for me. It’s hard to find an Opel dealer who has a demonstration car than 2.4i in his stock at all. Now I wanted to know, how does the Antara behave in the CO2 issue? Is the value for future tax bases in order or too high? On the occasion, still could I don’t drive Opel Antara, what about the turning circle, can you get along with it in the city or is one properly positioned? Does someone in the forum possibly drive a 2.4i and can perhaps report his experiences consumption etc. (didn’t want to open several threads for my little request). Thank you JD

  • too hot – too cold

hello, I have the following problem: I am glad that the Antara heats up very quickly in winter – this lasted much longer with my astra diesel. on the one hand a great thing (only to get the disk free faster) – on the other hand the inside room after a short time is already too hot. I then have to turn the temperature controller to the left on blue so that it does not get warmer and warmer – the afterpart: after a short time it gets too cold and I have to turn the rotary controller back to k urz over blue … (just always goes back and forth – park my hand on a longer ride always comfortably on the lever so that I can then easily extend the middle finger to turn the controller 🙂 ) How can you fix the problem? thank you in advance …

  • Emergency running program – Frontera B 2.2 DTI 16V

Hello, we have been having trouble with a frontera for some time, because it constantly switches into the emergency run program. On normal city and cross-country journeys this happens sporadically without noticeable power drop. During acceleration, the control lights disappear again. On motorway rides from 110 – 120km/h, with significant power drop into the emergency run program and remain in it until the engine is switched off and restarted. This type of emergency run program with power drop The overall performance of the moto has fallen sharply – whether with or without emergency running program. In order to be able to drive “normally”, you have to drive it in the upper speed range so that you get off the spot. There is also the impression that the turbocharger is not in use. On the first check, the Opel workshop said that it would be on the air mass meter. This was replaced. The car became a little more splashy again, but reached But not the usual/old performance. A new check showed the “critical system error 1 and 2” on the diagnostic device. The mechanic said that the car had to be kept for an exact check and tested with electrician/mechanic and diagnostic device, which is, however, chargeable. Has someone already had the same experience and/or can someone say what it might be about? Thank you in advance.
