Hi. I’m just heading for bayers on vacation. Ride a 2007 vivaro box car with a 2.0 liter diesel engine. Since the long autobahn ride especially and also quite easily sometimes before dwm vacation the following happens. At 2600 turns from the 4th gear the car jerks very briefly. Was really only easy to notice and not further relevant for me. However, when I was in the mountains in 6th gear at a little under load driving at 2600 turns, it jerked once s o correct and the motor control light with the stop light was on for about 2 seconds. Then went out again and could give again reasonable gas. I stayed then always under 2600 turns and had no problems. Also with the courses 1-3 is no jerk to feel. What can that be. Are now on vacation and then something like that. Please for help. Greetings

Vivaro Life – opinion on offer wanted
Hi there, I have a Vivaro Life Westfalia in mind: click me. I had recently tested the car and was in my workshop of trust. There they gave me a few clues, what else I should pay attention to (not all must-have things were like the not working air conditioning, but also the timing belt, which would actually only be in 20,000 km and the complete interior preparation), whereby they said that the car was basic I then drove back to the dealer and gave him the points. He answered all points without discussion and made me a very fair price for my current vehicle (from my point of view) for the payment. Everything just went very smoothly, even with the points, which are now actually not on his account. Why do I write this now? Maybe I just need a moral tätschler á la “Kling do ch super, why are you suspicious”, because if he had discussed everything, it wouldn’t have been right for me either. Or a “Oh, for these and those reasons, rather leave your fingers off.” Or maybe I just had to write down my thoughts. Anyone who has read up here and shakes his head, may forgive me. Anyone who has read up here and can give me a meaningful comment: Please, please.

Opel Vivaro Gear damage
Hello Community, I have a Opel Vivaro Combi L1H1 built in 2008 2.5 CDTI, which now has a transmission damage. It has only about 80,000 km on the clock and was moved 90% on the highway in a comfortable driving mode with approx. 100 km/h in the 6th gear! Since I have read the articles here already some time, I thought, hopefully will hold mine! He is really very gentle driving and has also got all inspections etc. just everything you can do so that you can long dr I can’t believe it!! After 80,000 km the beard is gone. Now it gets a brand new gearbox. So far so good. But now my question to the Opel Vivaro specialists here in the forum: Where exactly is the weak point with this gearbox? Is the 6th gear at all usable or should you stay in the 5th gear? Or is the 5th gear affected as well? Are there ways to modify this gearbox accordingly, I also noticed that in my opinion the gearbox gives a wretched rattle of itself at low speeds. Here you get to say that it would be the gearbox synchronization and that it would be normal. My God, we live in 2012! Can’t you build a clever gearbox? It’s not that much in a gearbox. Rather a simple set-up. And then such noises? Now one last question: My gearbox is now about 3.5 years old. The new just so much newer. Was there a gearbox modification at Opel or Renault or was the gearbox improved by the construction that now comes in or is it again the same stand, so you would have to think that in about 80,000 km the next one is due? Many questions… I hope to get some answers here from people who might have been able to look behind the scenes to find out. How things really are! I am already happy about your answers and wish every Opel Vivaro (or equivalent…) driver a good and hopefully damage-free ride! Best regards

Deactivate radio energy saving mode
Hello together, after a certain time the message “Energy saving mode is activated” is displayed and the radio goes off, it can no longer be switched on, even the ignition does not work. You are forced to start the engine and only then you can turn on the radio again, but also only a few minutes, because then comes again this energy message. Is there a possibility to permanently turn off the nonsense? With the old Vivaro the radio could run for hours without the ir Any news came, ok he had not had as much electronics as the new one, yet it was no problem and the engine could always be started without any problems. It is really annoying if you are just having breakfast or lunch break, which then constantly runs out the radio and you have to run the engine. (Energy saving mode exactly my humor) That’s why I would like to turn this off permanently or at least that this stupid message only appears after an hour. can you turn it off yourself or do you have to drive into a workshop with it? Thank you for your answers and stay healthy!

Movano A 2.5 DTI with 115hp from 2003 absorbs engine oil after turbo change.
Hello together, I am at the moment massively baffled and happy that my engine is still spinning. I drove about 600 km and at the same time the whole engine with engine oil at the top/off. Of course hardly anything was in the tub :/ In partial load everything is actually good, but as soon as it only slightly uphill with charge you have to pass the accelerator a bit and then a gigantic soot cloud begins to develop. Logically everything is much too fat, until the performance even decreases, then must Now the question to the experts – at first I thought of a non-closing AGR. But where does the whole oil come from? The turbocharger comes from a renowned glass palace and was repaired there, actually impossible since the over the wave loses oil. It already dripped from the normal running let some oil out of the hose of the suction nozzle. Is there anything not with the oil ventilation nic How can I test this best? So far I exclude a leak of the revised loader. Since the engine oil has also spread extensively on the top and the exhaust side. Does anyone know advice?

Opel Vivaro 2.5 dti, 2006, self-heating installation Planar 2d
Moin people, I’m addressing you because I’d like to hear my opinion. I finally had a planar 2D and the anticipation is huge. Now, of course, I’ve already dealt with various videos with the topic and now I have 2 questions…. No1. Since I have a station wagon, I play with the idea of placing the heater under the passenger seat, does someone have experience with it or consider? Better ideas? Since I need the full cargo space floor this doesn’t come about in question… No2. The question with the fuel, someone happens to know öb my 06er vivaro has a diesel run back? Think this is the best solution for me, because easy to realize. I would be very happy about your opinion! Greetings go out!

Question to Combo owner to distance tempomat with automatic transmission
Hello together, as a non-Opel driver, but who supports his parents in looking for a new car at retirement age, I would have a few questions about the Combo distance tempomat in connection with automatic. Perhaps immediately to clarify: the parents can still run without problems and drive a car, but want a little relief during a longer motorway ride; especially if they get into one of the frequent traffic jams. In the instruction manual to the Combo it says that the cruise control automatically up to z If the front man doesn’t start after “longer” time, you have to speed up over 30 km/h again by gas foot, so that the distance tempomat can work again. What is “longer time”, 5 sec, 30 sec? How annoying can such a thing become in the traffic jam? I imagine it funny, because in the traffic jam you often don’t get over 30 km/h, then the system is actually useless? From my ACC (with automatic) from the VW group (Skoda) know I have to pull the lever from the cruise control after 3 seconds, and it goes on. Together with the lane holding assistant (which can also drive in the lane for the rescue lane) I can drive through a traffic jam without any problems, without having to step on the gas or brake. What I like about Opel is the transfer of a speed limit into the cruise control. My Skoda didn’t do that (I’ve already seen it at Audi). At the Opel I have here in the forum but sc What are your experiences? And the last question: Opel seems to have only one camera system in the windshield, not like others combined with radar sensors. How does the system behave in the case of rain, snow, (light) fog or at night? Maybe there is one more question about the track assistant: Had a crossland to rent, the thing warned me that I would come across the sideline, if I had read that this is a bad thing in practice, because the detection is much too sluggish. But I let them ride mercilessly into the ditch. Did I still have a “spurwarn assistant” at that time, so can I assume that trackhold assistant will do justice to his name and he will actually keep me on the trail? Thank you for your answers! Greetings, Andy

Front cover for control chain replace Opel Vivaro 1.6 Bi-Turbo D from 2018 (installation scope, instructions)
Hello dear engine talker, I need some answers from experienced Opel or Renault screwdriver with Vivaro-B experience. From a good friend the engine oiles very strongly. After a long search and try we have found it; the front cover is leaking. The Opel is 2.2 years old and has run 42,000km… actually this is nothing. I sent him to the friendly, in hope of culantry. Unfortunately it is not any other. But they knew the problem too well; should probably with the 1.6 diesel see The front cover itself should not get healed (since glued with sealing compound), therefore a new lid is necessary ? Cost for the stem with installation; good 1.000 EUR. The lid (GM 95517877) costs even more than 200 EUR plus small parts and 8h wages. It must be removed to the friendly the engine to replace the front cover. I honestly can not imagine that and I wanted to do it myself. Therefore my question in the Round: does someone have their experience with it? Is it really so elaborate to seal the forehead cover? A rep. guide would of course be a dream…. Thank you in advance, Andreas

I see more and more Opel Vivaros
Hi, everybody! I’m a little strange here, but I still have a question: you hear and read about the Vivaros and Movanos mostly only negative things, especially about the vulnerability to repair. Why do you see more and more of the boxes driving around when they are so bad? Is it only the cheap price, or what is the reason. Feels, at least in Augsburg, every 2nd van is an Opel. I am very interested in cars, especially with regard to Opel. that the Vivaro or Movano is a Geimvereinschaftsprojekt with Renault and Nissan. Can you possibly answer that to me, why did you buy a Vivaro or Movano. I am very curious. LG Peter.

Engine control light on, weird behavior.
Moin, since yesterday my engine control light shines. Since I had checked this several times the usual suspects. Well the strange thing: the car drives normally, maybe even a tick better than before – the solenoid valve for the turbocharger hums like a vibrator at maximum speeds – if you turn off the plug of the solenoid valve as well as the hoses nothing happens. The car runs without problems and the lamp even goes out.!!! -(magnet valve) A hose has a quite strong vacuum, with the other hose is nothing. no overpressure, negative pressure etc. What could that be? One day before the mill ran without any problems. possible marten bite? Presumably some germinate AGR or vacuum pump has a way? MFG
