  • Opel Vivaro 2.0 CDTI does not start sporadic

Who can help or has a similar problem! Have an Opel Vivaro EZ: 12.2011 2,0 CDTI I bought the car in January as a factory car at the Opel dealership with just under 24000 km. I drove on it since the only 2000 km and had already 4 times the problem that the car has not started. The first time about 2 weeks ago were when shopping vehicle was standing about half an hour and jumped no more on starter turns engine starts but not so vehicle closed, again open ut started without success. after the reverse gear inserted clutch pedal let loose and the key turned around 2 times and see there vehicle runs again as if nothing had been done. Then to the friendly driven (have still guarantee) they have read out the error memory but could not detect anything. On last Saturday the same driving for shopping vehicle stood this time only about a quarter hour same problem vehicle again does not start, so again a gear Inlaid clutch pedal let loose the key turned around 2 times and ran it. On Sunday again on the way vehicle stood about 2 hours. same problem car does not jump on this time he also with inserted passage not jumped so this time at the Opel service called (have still mobility guarantee) who sent one of the ADAC past then opened after several futile start attempts the air filter box start pilot in sprayed and zack is he ran again. Then on request he still read out the error memory but again without any results. So then we drove home today immediately back to the friendly vehicle was the three-quarters day there who checked several things and again without result. Final statement of the workshop master: We are sorry but we could not detect any error on your vehicle. Drive just once and if he does not jump again call again at the Hotl ine to which the vehicle should then tow to us and do no repair attempts. So back home drove in the evening still briefly the children at friends picked up vehicle stood again about 10 min. and sprang again not at then I thought well if I let him now tow it was after 6 pm which sit in tomorrow morning turn the key around and the car goes back so what did I put in the gear clutch pedal let loose the key around Turned car has jerked 2 times and ran it. Now my question to you maybe someone already had that similar or similar problem? If I put the car back to the friendly I already know the answer is sorry we can not find any mistake. For helpful tips and advice I would be very grateful.

  • Experiences / Recommendations of new Vivaro?!

Hello, I’ve been interested in the new Vivaro for a long time, but it’s only now that the new Tourer variant would really come into question. Since I didn’t really find it in the forum, I would like to get rid of a few questions to you and then I’m curious if it would be really suitable for me: – what kind of motorization would you recommend? Currently I drive a Vectra with Z19dth (150 hp diesel) and am completely satisfied with it. (That’s why I’m going to be able to do it by the way. I know it’s a completely different category of vehicle, but does the 145 hp BiTurbo handle the big car in terms of performance and the driving behaviour of the 1.9 car from the Vectra? What is the maximum speed measured by you with GPS? – Would the rail system and the fairings of the Tourer be easily retrofitted with a normal Vivaro? – Are there known heavier defects and if so, how does Opel deal with the topic of Vivaro? – H at already someone 19″ mounted on the Vivaro? If so, which tyre size? (yes, I know there are hard ones which can be it from the load, but there are … and to what extent can/must then be adjusted the tacho) – Are you satisfied with the Vivaro in general? I would buy the Vivaro Tourer in 1 to 2 years as used with max. up to 50,000 km. V-Class and T6 are not possible, as I do not want to invest so much for a used one. Thanks for your Antwo rten in advance greetings

  • Tips for the new Vivaro

Hello, I’m thinking about ordering the new Vivaro these weeks. it’s not so long on the market yet, but maybe someone can tell me what to look for. I wanted to take the 120hp machine, with trailer coupling, reversing chamber, air conditioning and two rows of seats. the third row of seats I wanted to save myself, or given if I could buy a seat after when I find one at Ebay. since I’m not a Vivaro experienced at all, you can give me a few tips. ? Thank you and greeting

  • Vivaro: no daytime running light – Can you simulate with continuous passing light?

Hello together, I always drive (even during the day) with the dipped-beam on. Unfortunately, my Vivaro X83 does not have a daytime running light. However, it bothers me something to manually turn on and off the dipped-beam every time. Is there a cheap or even free option, as it is switched on automatically when the ignition is switched on and off when the ignition is switched off?

  • Front and rear tyres on the right over the entire tread more worn out than on the left

Hello, although I have a Renault Trafic but I hope for more information here. I put almost new winter tyres on it about 1 month ago. After 3 weeks I found that both tyres on the right side, in my opinion evenly over the entire running surface, have driven considerably more than left. (see pictures, rear tyres look exactly like this) It is Barum Snovanis2, so not direction bound, size 205 65 R16C. Vehicle: Renault Trafic 2,0dci 115PS L2H1. mmt and he makes no noise while driving, also the tires roll nicely calmly. I also do not always drive around in a circle to the left. The workshop does not know what it might be, however, were left side handlebars and wheel bearings changed 2 months ago, is that it? Or does anyone have a guess what I could have controlled? Thank you for all the hints

  • Who has experience with Movano/Renault Master????

Who can say anything about the Movano? (Similar to Renault Trafic and Nissan Primastar) Who has experience with this car in terms of ROST, reliability from the engine, permissible total weight and so on.He should definitely have over 2.8 tons of weight and run 120Km/h without the ears falling away from an inside because I am a lot on the road. What known weaknesses are known?Did the engines suck?(For example, like the T4 where the toothy rhizome is so susceptible to diesel). my T 4 is still top, but well. Often something new. Especially with the ROST I am on Kriégsfuss at the atr of car (transporter or van). What should you pay attention to?What is a real price or better what can you expect for 8000 €? ( Bj and Km) ? already thanks to all who write to me!!!!!! Mike

  • Opel Vivaro Purchase Advice

Hello guys, we might want to get an Opel Vivaro. Who can give me tips about the best engineization and the durability of the technology? I am most interested in the 2.5 CDTI with 135 or 146 hp, because I drive approx. 25000 km a year and 80 percent highway and then only a diesel would be possible. I have read a slightly older Vivaro brochure, there are almost endless variations, but I think that for us the double cabin is more suitable, since one lagged r the 2nd row of seats has enough cargo space (we have 2 big Leonberger dogs) and this can also allow as a truck. How is it with the insurance and the tax? Is a truck registration (about 180 € tax per year, compared to approx. 420 € as a car) useful and how expensive is the insurance with both variants? About your posts I am already looking forward. Greeting Peter

  • Movano Year of construction 2003 2.5 DCI no longer starts.

Moin together, (prehistory) recently bought me cheaply an Opel Movano in good general condition, which was reasonably converted into a touring coach and where fresh (dental belt tensioning roller and belt drive etc) were exchanged. I got it only so cheap because the previous owner had to do a lot of it and gave it up in the current history and therefore sold it. It has taken leave of the bearing of the turbocharger and the engine thus has a lot of oil due to the intake g (charge air cooler, hoses, intake bridge and also combustion chamber) blowed. The previous owner then removed the turbocharger, overhauled it and had it installed again. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem. The engine was still heavily squeezing and the gas was very poorly received. In this condition I bought the Movano. (Current problem) I built the entire intake apart and cleaned it. Because there was a lot of oil from the turbocharger damage in the intake. The diesel engine started a bit bulky but then it went on. He took the gas very well and ran quietly in the stand. I then turned off the engine, because it still produced a lot of smoke and the Movano smoked my whole screwdriver hall. A little later (didn’t change anything) I wanted to start the engine again (engine was still warm) and it didn’t start at all. I didn’t clean it up. It tries to get me starter spray to start, but except to ignite the starter spray, nothing happened. So the engine gets air, but apparently no fuel. Can the injectors be out of order, or has the fuel filter leaked or the fuel pump doesn’t work anymore. But absolutely didn’t know how this can be related to the test run. Unfortunately, I don’t have an idea where to start right now. Thanks to everyone who thinks a few things for me. cht and maybe also has a constructive idea!

  • short jerking at 2600 rpm and motor control light with stop

Hi. I’m just heading for bayers on vacation. Ride a 2007 vivaro box car with a 2.0 liter diesel engine. Since the long autobahn ride especially and also quite easily sometimes before dwm vacation the following happens. At 2600 turns from the 4th gear the car jerks very briefly. Was really only easy to notice and not further relevant for me. However, when I was in the mountains in 6th gear at a little under load driving at 2600 turns, it jerked once s o correct and the motor control light with the stop light was on for about 2 seconds. Then went out again and could give again reasonable gas. I stayed then always under 2600 turns and had no problems. Also with the courses 1-3 is no jerk to feel. What can that be. Are now on vacation and then something like that. Please for help. Greetings

  • Vivaro Life – opinion on offer wanted

Hi there, I have a Vivaro Life Westfalia in mind: click me. I had recently tested the car and was in my workshop of trust. There they gave me a few clues, what else I should pay attention to (not all must-have things were like the not working air conditioning, but also the timing belt, which would actually only be in 20,000 km and the complete interior preparation), whereby they said that the car was basic I then drove back to the dealer and gave him the points. He answered all points without discussion and made me a very fair price for my current vehicle (from my point of view) for the payment. Everything just went very smoothly, even with the points, which are now actually not on his account. Why do I write this now? Maybe I just need a moral tätschler á la “Kling do ch super, why are you suspicious”, because if he had discussed everything, it wouldn’t have been right for me either. Or a “Oh, for these and those reasons, rather leave your fingers off.” Or maybe I just had to write down my thoughts. Anyone who has read up here and shakes his head, may forgive me. Anyone who has read up here and can give me a meaningful comment: Please, please.
