  • Understanding Question PSA 48V Mild Hybrid System (MHEV): 12V alternator available?

    In one of the new PSA 48V MHEV, it says among other things: Quotation: Two power grids The PEUGEOT 3008 and the PEUGEOT 5008 have two power grids: a low voltage grid with 12 volts for the supply of the vehicle equipment and a high voltage grid with 48 volts for the supply of the hybrid system. The electricity is generated exclusively by the 48V electric motor. A DC voltage converter transfers the generated electricity into the 12-volt network of the vehicle. This leads me to the question: Is there another 12V alternator? On the product picture (in the appendix) it looks like for me that the belt of the auxiliary units drives an alternator in addition to the climate compressor.

    Peugegot 5008 BJ 2012 1.6 Diesel mechanical 6speed transmission electronically controlled. At the stand selector lever on A1 the display fluctuates sporadically between A1 and M1.But only sometimes.Sometimes in cold condition, sometimes after a certain driving time.   • Missing or falling pressure in the cooling system

    A Hello in the group I have a Peugeot 3008 HDi 1,6l 2012. To the problem. Temperature indicator fluctuates slightly here and there. Car cools down quickly, especially when driving slowly and service life. Everything else is still working perfectly. Keeps up to 90 degrees there with just these slight fluctuations. Heating works fine. Thermostat, water pump, cooler lid has been replaced. Several times professionally pushed off by the mechanic and ventilated. At Peugeot asked and no solution until now. Cooler remains almost completely cold from the front right, as well as the lower hose, which remains ice cold. No water loss available. No blubbering in the compensation tank. Now the question still has an idea where the pressure loss could come from? The question independent of the car, which cooler part, engine part can otherwise make sure that pressure in the cooling system is lost without water loss?

    Hello. Looking for a car with an elevated seating position and a pleasant interior, I came across the 3008 of the first generation. Is this still a considerable problem today or was it solved at some point (new chain tensioner or similar). Bzw. it only concerns isolated bad luck birds or you have to advise from the engine in general, even if you regularly have oil controlled and changed? Maybe still a long additional guarantee complete? Is there a user who can easily reach 300000km and more? And if I like the model otherwise very well, is it more recommended as a sucker with 120Ps or the 130PS 3 cylinder? With the diesel I would have thought about something, since the car is often moved on short distance (8km) among other things. Or would it be possible if it is driven at least 1x per week longer distances?

  • e-2008 Active: Refurbish headlights (on LED)

    Hello, my wife got infected by the electric fever and bought an e-2008 Active. For the intended purpose (city trips and surrounding communities) the prospective range of 342km is ok. Equipment is, say, expedient. What is not possible at all, however, with an electric car to build no LED headlights. Since I actually did not find much tech. data on the Active on the Internet, here the question to the forum: the e-2008 Active doesn’t even have H4 headlights ? Additional question: can be converted to LED via OSRAM/PHILIPS or ? legal ? Thanks and greeting Joe

    Have you ever tested this before? – how many KMs available electric range does it indicate after a battery charge and how much KM does it really drive electric? – what does it look like in “hybrid” mode? How many KMs does it drive “hybrid” before the 0 KM residual display comes? – how many KMs does it drive “hybrid” before it switches to petrol mode (sport mode)?

  • PEUGEOT 807 Temperature

    Hello you love the following problem I have with the 807. The cooling temperature indicator rises so high that the 807 in the display displays temparature too high and runs out. The temperature indicator rises within about 1 to 2 minutes as high as that is displayed temparature too high in the display this immediately after the start and goes out immediately. The water is cold but the fans run to full power. Thanks in advance for any help
