Hello, I’m new here and greet all the forum members very warmly. My problem: Apparently pressure in the coolant system. When opening the balance tank lid to refill coolant, the cooling water in the tank rises quickly and beyond, despite ice-cold and unactivated engine. When the coolant level is set between min. + max level, the problem occurs immediately as soon as the engine is started. Here also faster continuous cooling water rise until the tank cover had to be closed again. When driving, splash after approx. 40 kilometers the coolant water can be heard out of the balance tank, after a red warning signal briefly lit up and motor problems indicated. The engine temperature showed approx. 80°C const., whereby once a peak was registered by 120°C. However, on the way back there were no problems. However, after that the balance tank was empty and had to be filled up again with 1 litre of liquid, it was probably the same time as the coolant volume. The cooling liquid was renewed again (between min. + max.) and the engine was almost opened for the purpose of cooling, the liquid rise had to be found again.

Analyze cooling water loss
My Peugeot workshop proposes to repair the damage caused by engine replacement (approx. €6,000), as the cylinder head seal is suspected to wear out. Due to the vehicle’s age of almost 10 years, this investment is a serious decision to replace timing belts and coolant pump only a week ago, and the regular inspection carried out regularly together with a total of €1,300 to book it. Four weeks earlier, a water loss was analyzed in the course of a reduced heating performance and various work on the turbocharger etc. was carried out, among other things, the torn water line on the turbocharger was renewed and thus costs of a total of € 1,418 were incurred. Thus, the inspection costs were calculated from the previously incurred repair costs for the water loss, so that within 4 weeks approximately 2,300 euros were invested for this purpose. With the proposed solution to the problem of “cooling water loss”, the decision would be over 8,000 euros. Since the drawing issue of 807 Family HDI 135 was equipped with only about 70.000 centimetres of the fuel pump, and this was equipped with an additional 4 thousand centimetres of the fuel.

Who already got the “new” 2008? Built 2016
Hello, I would be interested to know if someone has already received the “new” 2008? The dealer is already standing there. And I already ordered mine. But nobody can tell me when the new ones will be delivered? I ordered the 120 HP Diesel BlueHDI with allure equipment. I didn’t even drive the sample, unfortunately only an old 100 HP diesel was available! 5 gears. Since this seemed too weak, I bought the 120 HP diesel instead! 6 gears. Greetings Bruno

Peugeot 2008 / Seat Arona – Questions regarding particulate filters for petrol engines / Standards
In Barcelona the new Seat Arona Crossover was introduced 2 weeks ago. An interesting car – on the basis of the new Ibiza. For me it is therefore about the question Peugeot 2008 or Seat Arona. Of course the new Euronorm 6c plays in there (particle filter OPF). According to the guidelines of the EU these filters are mandatory for all new types after the 1.9.17. The emphasis is on new types and registration at the KBA. Since the car is probably not type-tested before the Frankfurt car fair….? e m.E. the filter mandatory….. The delivery and approval should probably no longer take place in 2017. Who has an opinion or further findings on this?

Need advice when buying a car: Peugeot 2008 Style Navi (first registration 2018)
Hello everybody, I’m about to decide to buy a used Peugeot 2008 Style Navi, which was first approved in 2018 and still has TÜV until February 2025. The dealer says that he will take care of some repairs, but only if I agree to the purchase. Specifically, this is the replacement of the V-belt, as well as a renewal of the TÜV. The repair is probably included in the purchase price. Furthermore, the Peugeot indicates slight scratches on the driver’s side front and hint I’m not sure if it’s wise to agree to such a deal. Has anyone had any experience buying a car that still needs repairs, and how did it work for you? He said the repairs would be done so that there are no problems with warranty or liability for material defects afterwards. I would be very grateful for further advice and opinions! Thank you in advance.

Long-term experience 5008 177PS Diesel
Hello together, I was able to get a lot of information about the petrol engines. But unfortunately I couldn’t find anything in connection with the 177hp. Besides that a big engine for this body is better, which also makes sense to me. So I would be interested in what the engine is like and also the automatic transmission? We have a BJ. 2019 in view as GT. We have 3 children and therefore we stumbled on this car, because it has 3 full-fledged seats and probably many enthusiastic I thank you for every experience and advice I should pay attention to. Thank you in advance and greetings

Driver’s seat 5008 GT
Hello, after 2 weeks 5008GT I am very satisfied with the car, except for the driver’s seat. He gives me a lot of gas, or who you push your back back times. The passenger seat is much more stable during the wobble test. Did anyone else notice that? Oh, the seats in themselves are awesome.

2008 – who has already looked at him?
Aloha! Well, who has already looked at the new Pug 2008? I looked at it on Saturday. I liked it amazingly. The proportions fit, from the outside it looks quite decent, I find. The sitting position fit me, 1,87, very well. Just like with my 207 SW I like the rather low window line very well. You do not sit so walled up and can comfortably put your arm on the door. I also like to get a little higher. On the back bench is m.E. a little bit more space than in 207 SW. Not huge, but ok. The trunk is m.E. comparable to that of its predecessor. Total banana is however the trunk cover, which is largely inflexible. That was better before. Colors are of course a matter of taste, to me personally they are all a bit too “covered”. A bit what fresh would certainly be quite nice. How are your opinions like this?
