  • Driver’s seat 5008 GT

Hello, after 2 weeks 5008GT I am very satisfied with the car, except for the driver’s seat. He gives me a lot of gas, or who you push your back back times. The passenger seat is much more stable during the wobble test. Did anyone else notice that? Oh, the seats in themselves are awesome.

  • 2008 – who has already looked at him?

Aloha! Well, who has already looked at the new Pug 2008? I looked at it on Saturday. I liked it amazingly. The proportions fit, from the outside it looks quite decent, I find. The sitting position fit me, 1,87, very well. Just like with my 207 SW I like the rather low window line very well. You do not sit so walled up and can comfortably put your arm on the door. I also like to get a little higher. On the back bench is m.E. a little bit more space than in 207 SW. Not huge, but ok. The trunk is m.E. comparable to that of its predecessor. Total banana is however the trunk cover, which is largely inflexible. That was better before. Colors are of course a matter of taste, to me personally they are all a bit too “covered”. A bit what fresh would certainly be quite nice. How are your opinions like this?

  • Peugeot 3008

Hello together, my Peugeot 3008 from 2013 with 50k on the clock makes noises with uneven streets front right “Klack”. Feather leg, all lateral handlebars and the steering gear have been renewed on guarantee. Peugeot finds no solution! In addition, I noticed when you turned the steering wheel in stand a clack created!? Thank you!

  • 807 2.0 Automatic switches to emergency program with error code P0006

Hello I have an 807 2.0 gasoline with automatic (4-speed) BJ 2007 with about 46,000km. 1 year ago there were first problems with the automatic. during the ride he switched into the emergency program. The Peugeot workshop changed after reading the error memory a pressure sensor (on the invoice he has the number 252924). A few days after that the transmission turned back into the emergency program! Again into the workshop. This time the error memory allegedly showed on a pressure switch. I then first did not have I wanted to see if the error occurs again and is understandable! Nothing happened over 1 year. For 1 month then 3-4 times to the emergency program again!! Today I was the workshop. Error memory was read. Error code P0006 Pressure control difference / target value. Comment of the workshop. The error code shows again on the exchanged pressure sensor…. best I should change the whole gear so you don’t know what the cause is… it could be anything. So best to change gear (or better a new car I meant)! I should write to Peugeot and ask for a culant participation! P.S. Songs I did not let in the earlier diagnoses the prints of the error codes! So I don’t know what was displayed earlier! Does anyone have a tip?

  • Engine damage at 30t km, 3008 155 THP

Hello dear community, my 3008er is now almost two years old, I bought it a year ago as a year-old car from a Peugeot car dealership. Since I drive little long distances, I decided for the petroler. Usually I drive two times 15 km daily, of which about 10 km are highways. Half a year ago I heard a clear rattle over the first few hundred meters. The workshop worked on guarantee: not enough oil pressure, steering chain rattled. Parts were replaced (i.e. I don’t know), the rattle was gone. Three months later another sound. A snoring in the engine, also after a few hundred meters away. Again in the workshop. Result: oil smells immensely after fuel, oil change made. Inspection also. I should drive first, through the fresh oil it should go. But not. No change. Rather the opposite. As a result a complete engine replacement was released by Peugeot. On guarantee. The workshop called me as The reason for the short distances. I don’t understand. I would be almost to blame myself, because I don’t drive 100 km at a time every day (caution, irony) and if so, Peugeot would certainly not replace the engine on guarantee. What sucks me, however, is the statement that the modern engines would have to drive longer distances, because otherwise they would have broken. A gasoline engine after 30000 km? According to this, 3/4 of all cars would have to be broken and my new engine should not Can someone explain it to me or give me information about it? Google has no information about it. I am very unsure about my engine as well as about the short-distance statements. thank you very much! Stefan

  • 2008 120 hp diesel BJ2017 timing belts

Hello! Have a 2008 BJ2017 with the 120 HP BlueHDI Diesel. I brought it today for the 5 year inspection (83000km) and my dealer (Original Peugeot Citroen) told me that there is a recommendation for this engine after 5 years (or 100000 km) to renew the timing belt, because this could tear and he would have already had 2 cars there where with approx. 100000-120000 km the timing belt would be torn and then the engine was over. A new timing belt would be installed which would be improved constructionally and then a normal change interval would be given again. Is anyone this known here? LG

  • Dealing with the possible loss of funding for plug-in hybrids from 2023

There is a detailed presentation of the proposed changes to the promotion for e-cars from 2023. There it says via plug-in hybrids: Quotation: 3. In the sense of a as slim as possible promotion, which focuses on the positive climate protection effect and since plug-in hybrids are now marketable, the promotion for plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) should end on 31.12.2022. Specifically, this means that plug-in hybrids with a first registration from 01/01/2023 thus no longer receive any promotion. Of course, this still has to be decided and implemented. I would like to know how the reaction of the old PSA core brands is to this effect. Especially from the point of view of the current delivery times. Do you buy the vehicles anyway or would this change lead to a cancellation of the order? Vehicles such as DS4 or Peugeot 308 have only come to the market this year as a plug-in hybrid. The price difference to the pure burners is still clear at the moment. Note: Please a factual friendly discussion and limited to the former PSA core brands.
