Hi, Since I want to have my car lighter, the question arises if I still separate the spare wheel pit. But the car should still get road registration. Does anyone already have experience with it, or does one of you know if that doesn’t matter for the Tüv? Greeting Patrick

Build the Domstreuten themselves, what material and where?
I want to weld in dome struts and also a few other small stiffenings (Polo 86c). What material should I use for this? It’s about dome struts in front and back, crossbar struts, struts in front between the Stabi photos and from there back to the crossbar photos. So should everything go with the same material or? Where can I get this from the normal locksmith? Greeting Dominik

To all race car drivers
Hi people so I just wanted to ask if you all can write a few sentences about the race-cart because I want to inform myself a little about others and drivers. I myself drive a Mach1Kart with a 2-stroke 125cc (popper). I drive now the 2 year race-cart and before I drove 2 years slalomkart. My home track is in Gerolzhofen. The track is 701 meters long and 6-8 meters wide.Actually a nice track unfortunately only Samsatgs open from 9 to 16:30 clock and only vo April to October. So tell us about you and your kart ́s and where you always drive. thank you MFG HEBI

How bold is Audi going to be?
So the ach so great Quattro Gmbh is really brazen. Is there something that doesn’t copy from Bmw at the moment and sell as yours? Take the new Splieen with high-speed motor. Ok, you develop it yourself, nothing at all. But everywhere Quattro advertising puts the Audi as the only true all-wheel car maker and what does Audi do now? BMW always copies. BMW builds with 60/40 distribution. Audi now also calls this asymmetrical dynamic power distribution. If the Ingolstätte at least you should not copy Bmw!

Cannonball race stopped by German police
The police have ended a cannonball race today with a full lock of the A1 near Neustadt in Schleswig-Holstein. More than 60 cars with start numbers were pulled out of the traffic, which started on Sunday in London. That was also time for someone to show them where it goes. I don’t think anything about races of this kind.

Motorsport-Flaute ??
Hello, I’ve been looking at two mountain races, among others, lately. I liked it, but unfortunately it’s nothing for me because you have too little driving time. The price-performance ratio is ok, however, if I look at the few euro face money. What disappointed me was the small number of participants. So I was in Tiefenbach and in Klotten. In Tiefenbach maybe 35-40 cars at the start in Klotten could have been maybe 60 with the GLP at the end. A friend who also drives mountain races said that in the past there had been twice as many mentions. What interests me now is whether you also notice a decline in the actives in your clubs or as a spectator? I mean now not especially mountain races but basic motor sports in general. I drive GLP myself, and here there is nothing to notice of a decline on the contrary. What about the slalom, 1/4 mile, round track, kart etc.? Greeting Michael

Domstrebe with serial suspension – is that possible?
Hello guys. I ride with my Golf 5 GTI sometimes at such motor sports events. On the whole it is not bad, but in long-drawn curves the box underruns a lot. Very annoying if before me a 3 golf with hard chassis runs through the curve much, much faster than I. Then I bought R-tires. It is a little better. Unfortunately, no other chassis can be built in my GTI, since I already have the 11cm ground clearance (STVO in Öster) in standard condition. Now I wanted to ask if event. a cathedral trespass brings something. Front top, bottom front, back or all 3? What can you recommend to me? PS: Would you like to drive with the GTI, because I have no money and space for a 2nd car. Would be happy for your advice. mfg Mario

Curve width – centrifugal force vs. Downforce
Hello together, I have a burning topic on my heart and maybe someone here knows about it: – I know that the centrifugal force / centrifugal force is proportional to the speed in the square, i.e. double speed = four times centrifugal force. – I have read that it is possible to generate an equally strongly growing pressure / downforce by means of spoilers etc. My question is simple, but perhaps not necessarily to answer with common sense:Is it is possible that a vehicle does not make a curve with e.g. 130 km/h, but with the same setup maybe with 200 km/h? p.s.: clear with higher speed the centrifugal force is much greater, but the downforce also, and the higher tyre temperature makes the difference with respect to the Hafabrätung, even if it sounds illogical, but is it possible!? Does anyone know exactly? Greeting

Turbo Anti Lag System (ALS)
Hello, can someone explain to me here how the ALS system used in rallies or dragster races works? So so much is clear to me (if it’s true, I’m improving) The turbine of the turbo takes some time until it comes to speed, therefore the turbo hole (with the exception of VTG). So you have to increase the speed of the ejecting exhaust gases. How do you do it, or does it work differently? Thanks in advance, AGE
