Moin, I am currently converting Sierra with the good old OHC engine (Pinto) to turbochargers. Since I want to do everything perfectly, the exhaust line should of course be optimized, which is the A and O for a good response behavior. The series casting manifold naturally eliminates because of far too small cross section. Jetz asks me the question what is better: Nen 4-2-1 fan manifold because of even cylinder filling or rather as short as possible, 4 pipe stubs with low flow 45° pieces on as short a distance as possible in a 4-1 funnel and there directly the loader ran. I can buy the compartment ready for 250, is also not too very wound snake nest but about a half meter on which well temperature = exhaust enthalpie flutes goes until it goes into the turbine. The pipe pieces and the accumulator fry together should also not be expensive, so from the price eats even no matter. (with price anyway is second priority, with the project probably in total 5.000 only for M otor+Turbo+Range fried) I thought about the K03 from the 1.8T from VW/Audi, which is with 200 hp already at its poop limit but for that has the super-flinky response dynamics. Or would the K04 be better? Or a completely different one? I pick up 1 bar for 200 hp @ 5500rpm, overboost vlt. 1.2 bar for 220 hp. THX & Greetz

Brembo/AP Racing- Brake systems … Experiences???
Hi, I’m thinking about installing a nice braking system for my VRT with good steam, which should be suitable for 17″ and not all too heavy! I’ve been busy with this system, however, 250€ is quite expensive for me and before I spend sooooo a lot of money I would like to hear different opinions! But I would like to not install an S3 brake or something like that in order to anticipate the other opinions, because they are clearly too heavy … 🙁 … if your Erf I would like to thank you for your contributions! Greetings

Looking for turbocar with rear drive or 4×4! Ideas?
Hello motorsport fans !! I’m looking for something sporty for next summer I’m driving a Seat Leon 1.6 Bj 2002. I’m looking for something sporty with a 1.8 or 2.0 engine or something with a turbo (bin turbo horn ). In addition, it’s important to me rear drive or four-wheeler and a sporty look. Price range is around 3000€ –> and I know it’s little money and that’s why it’s only going to be around the Bj 90. What would happen to me spontaneously would be a Nissan 200SX S13 with 169 Turb o-PS and rear drive or a Toyota Celicia with 204 turbo-PS and four-wheel drive. Do you have any ideas?

Welding the body – useful?!
Finish my car at the moment. Underbody protection is almost completely down. I am still through the corners. Then he should weld in to the threshold and build cell (I’m about to make a professional). Then he should be blasted and coated (plastic because of rust). Now I am thinking about whether I should not weld the body. So the overlaps etc. Do I not make the body a mess? That it is stiff but then gives in to the sheet somewhere else? Ode r can I simply weld the overlaps? Or should I just use it sparingly? Or just 2-3cm caterpillars at a distance of a few cm? How are your experiences? How do you get the UBS from corners away where you can get bad? Have the sandblaster that overlooks…

16Vg60
Hello people like the one or the other knows I’ve been thinking about which engine I’m installing in my racing car for a long time, the decision has now been made, I’m building a 16V G60 based on ABF. In addition, my question now, with the suction bridge there are 2 possibilities, on the one hand to take that of the Scirocco 16V and on the other hand a “short” one in which a special production comes immediately to the lower smaller part of the suction bridge. Who has experience with this what the advantages and disadvantages of the variants are (torque PS response etc.) Has one of you already built such an engine and is possibly ready to help me with any questions later on. Thanks in advance Tiffanyracer P.S. by the way, I am just selling my “old” engine here

Initial wagons
Hi I have a question! Probably I’m not the only one here, with a question like that, it’s here: Which start carts can you recommend to me to meet the following criteria – 0-100km/h in less than 10 seconds (the magic number) – Not over 100 ps (otherwise it’s expensive) (Please don’t come by reason of n start car you just need to get dry from A to B! Yes but how every person has his preferences I also have mine! ) – Possible Easy – Possible t cheaply in the maintenance and insurance ( Golf 2 & Co. fall thus wech! ) – Budget: roundabout 1000€ ( should only last 2 years ) Many thanks in advance!!! MfG Kevin

Regularly driving on the Nührburging even though several hours away?
Hello, Since I discarded my lease plans for an expensive car as a novice, because it is simply not worth the effort… I have some play money available to make new adventurous plans Since it has always been car crazy, I always wanted to make my rounds on the Nührburhring… …why not now? However, I still don’t know exactly how to do this? ————— 1.) Driving… I don’t know how to deal with it… About gle I buy an annual ticket, the first few laps, right with 50 and blinker right, until I know exactly where which curve lies? And after that really get rid of it? (I can’t estimate the track at all – the 50KM/h are simply randomly chosen… I mean to drive just noticeably slowly…)So how to hit the ring in the long term? (In the Sufu I only found how to behave during the first ride) 2.) The overnight stay I could organize it I also have Sundays. That means I would go to school on Friday evenings, arrive at night. Get up on Saturday mornings, let off steam until the ring closes, and then return home on Sunday mornings… Where we would also be at the problem… Is it possible to simply get ice cold every WE (except when thick clasps are waiting) to hire a campsite to park his car and get there with a tent? How much fun is it? On the website I can’t find anything… showering etc.? Every WE a hotel would be a bit exaggerated… Somehow you have to sleep there…So: can I live every WE in a tent, wash myself there (in the square) or park my car there? What does this cost? 3.) How to get there If I bought a Bahncard 100 I could buy 20 times by car to the ring back and forth… Is it possible i*how possible to get a car dor t one week to drive it only on Saturdays? On & departure would then be done by train… Is it worth it? No! Is it fun? YES! So it’s considered… And what would the fun cost again? So: What does it cost to park your car there in the long term? 4.) Safety I have less than 1 year driving experience… i.e. that I can handle 1a in normal traffic, but I don’t know the limits of my car… Where do I get to know the limits of my car? ank! P.s.: I’m not going to go Brutal every WE… no matter how tired I am… I’m not that reckless… (That’s why the idea mi the Bahncard…) If I don’t want to be too tired to drive, a good friend has a birthday or something…
