  • Air outlet for bonnet

    I’m looking for an air outlet for my bonnet at the moment. I looked at something with an older Skoda and then I looked at a sprinter. I like that even better. So I want an outlet where I put in a plastic insert and therefore no hat or similar on it, because that is ugly. Do you have any other types where I can find something like this?     I have a question for the experts. In the slalom there is a class classification according to power weight. If I want to start in a class up to 15 kg/hp and have a vehicle that is just under 16.4 KG/hp, what makes more sense, weight decrease or increase power?Vehicle:Golf II 53 KW at 870 Kg = 16.42 KG/hp 1.   • Roll cage

    Moin Together, I intend to look at a vehicle which is equipped with a roll cage with cross truss of the company Wiechers Motorsport. However, since I do not want to use the vehicle for motor sports, but would like to mature slowly to the oldie, I would like to know if such a cage is to be removed without destruction. So whether something on the vehicle has to be “destroyed” or whether the cage is destroyed in this action. Furthermore, it would be interesting to know if such a part may then be used elsewhere, since I can then sell it as a used part, after all the parts are already damn expensive greeting Kester

  • Piston dome removal = change of running game?

    Hello, has anyone experienced that when I remove the dome of a forge piston this is changed? Have too much compaction….and not only 0.1 or 0.2 MFG René

  • Footwork, why?

    Hello, I’ve got an intriguing question. I pulled the following video in before and I immediately noticed with the guy the rough footwork, in which he sometimes presses at the brake gas and brake at the same time. Now I thought about why he does that, whether he just wants to keep the speed of the motor up or whether that has something to do with better delay or anything else?     Was so far the opinion at VGS you can buy the careless package, drive car somehow, carburetor etc. before send and then build there, vote as well as entries. Do also everything with, except for the entry… What now? Engine is completely in parts there… where do I get the stuff entered? Tests for this there is no. WITHOUT KAT card is available, paperwork for the engine with injection is also available. The performance that is then entered I don’t care, mainly it there’s something in it… In the meantime it’s almost no matter how much it costs!

    Does anyone know what shapes are used when and how and why in vehicles? For example, what exactly is the difference between the C16SE/c16LZ and the c16NZ combustion chamber? Where exactly can you find the most detailed explanations? Also what are the advantages and disadvantages of various combustion chambers? What is a fire bridge…? Have 2 pictures attached. Hope you can recognize it to some extent. The head with the black soot is the one of the c16nz, the other with the cracker that shines so brightly is the r c16SE/c16LZ head.

  • Wössner forging pistons

    Hello I bought from ebay Wössner forge pistons. When I unpacked these I realized that on the piston inside “JE” is punched in the writing like “JE Pistons”. Are these not Wössner forge pistons now but JE forge collapses? A number is also punched in on top of the piston. Or works Wössner and JE together? ( Always thought JE pistons are from the USA…) Basically it’s for me who built them, but I have to order a reorder because it’s no problem. r 3 pieces are….     Hello I am 17 years old and I have already driven with various turbocharged vehicles (Subaru Impreza WRX STi, Toyota Supra) since then was clear for me as soon as it is financially possible a charged vehicle is bought or a vehicle converted! Now to my questions: – Which start car is worth buying that offers a good base to upgrade it later on to Turbo? – What for prices can I expect if I upgrade the vehicle to approx. 300hp (and about it) I am happy about every helpful and serious question.
